First drafted a chapter last night that was... difficult. On the surface it's a story of love, but below the surface is tension. And not the artificial "pull the couple apart" tension, more the "what happens when you get too comfortable" tension. Thankfully it won't be fatal to any relationship you care about, just will add depth. 

Hoping to drop a new chapter tomorrow! Hope all are well!

I can't believe we're getting near the end of the first major arc for Emmy + Juliet. They have some big adventures ahead that I can't wait to share. Each arc has what I'm calling "cozy conflict" - a legitimate real world conflict a couple might go through, not overly dramatized, just lived as they progress through it. Along the way we've got slice-of-life and light moments.

Nothing dropping today other than ideas in my mind for revisions! A new chapter by the end of the week though!

New Chapter Drop sometime this afternoon! It may start off boring and procedural... but it ends with a very significant moment for E+J!

Exciting day - in a few hours the first installments in a new series drop - it's a side story that focuses on the unexplained mysteries of Aldenmoor University. If you're kinda curious exactly what might have caused Julian to become Juliet, that series might shed some light. It also will just be a fun weirdness-of-the-week cozy read.

Working to complete a chapter for tonight!

I've recently started working on some pre-writing that explores what Emmy & Juliet write in their diaries before and after major events. Let's just say Juliet's is much more organized! Yet she still has some spontaneity and loose ends. Working on editing the next chapter to post here - probably tomorrow night or so for that. Also considering a new Substack post.

Trying to get a new chapter out a little earlier this week - maybe even tomorrow! 

In my writing process, I generate a lot of short-story slice-of-life interactions that let me play around with how characters might interact in different scenes that aren't part of the central narrative. Toying with the idea of creating a second series of day-to-day episodes. Thoughts?

Cozy doesn't mean that drama doesn't happen. It just means that drama only happens when appropriate. E+J went through some drama with me today. In the end, I think they'll forgive me. Probably after Juliet gives me a stern talking to.

The third and final part of the first date for E+J comes this weekend. But if you're itching for something new, here's a quick lore drop. Spoiler is for something that won't drop until early fall, so you'll probably forget about it by then
