Five more chapters with the biggest stuff for next week. Going to be some flashbacks after this followed by the final scenes. We get to see yelling, hope, death, uncertainty, and some epic reveals.

Five chapters to start the new year
I just finished the editing so I'm gonna try and take it easy for Christmas and have the chapters released Tuesday through Saturday this week only.
Recovery week done but I have five chapters for next week including a Christmas Day release. We'll see how next week goes.

Hiatus next week through Christmas because of illness and the holidays. I miiight post a chapter or two involving Duncan/Miranda flashbacks but gonna be an easy load until I get my energy back. Need to recover. Have a lovely Christmas and holidays!

Wednesday chapter is rough I did not have time to finish editing it. I'm still very sick and exhausted. There's going to be a hiatus for around Christmas no chapters next week and then we'll see after that. I need to recover.

I read that an earthquake struck southern California today. Are you alright?
I can't find any news of it. The most recent one was a 3.5 earthquake yesterday about 80 miles away. I'm alright.

Got five chapters done but I also got very sick to my stomach with congestion and other problems. Not feeling great but made it happen. This next week contains fairy questions about stealing names, twinsies, surprise puppets, red caps, and headpats.

This week of chapter start it out not difficult I was going to take some time off for the holiday and I did but I was hit by some remarkable ideas and they made everything better. Full five week again. An unexpected proposal, a scary prospect, a small visitor, a strange change, and a shift in mood.

Challenging chapter five set to write. I hope people like them. These are all flashback chapters for Alyssa/Ross. I didn't intend that but there was a lot. Each chapter has something important revealed. Next week I probably might dial back on the chapters to take it easy.

Another five took a while. This time I decided to lean more into HORROR. Tuesday chapter took a lot but has lyrics and is awesome. We have a surprising text message, an emotion we haven't yet seen from Layla, efforts at protection, dealing with reflections, and the other side of mournful tears.
Sadly shouldn't surprise anyone but the week was really rough again with a lot of external things to take care of. Next week is going to be as abysmal. Gonna do my best about it. I wound up with 12,416 words for the 1st draft.
