Five more chapters next week before the schedule migrates to whatever is available to post due to changes in my ability to write each week. Not going to be a proper hiatus but some weeks may not have a chapter. A lot up in the air. I'm gonna try to shoot for one a week minimum, likely Wednesday update. We'll see how it goes. 

Final five chapters of mystery lake have been written. 12,000 words again with a lot of it in the epilogue. This is the denouement. We have some chilling out, some spring breaking, a little book reading, a promised rendezvous with a spooky story, and then that mega epilogue which leaves our characters in very thoughtful places. A few things to raise eyebrows and etc. I decided to throw out quite a few answers/resolutions to lingering things. 

The last full week of 5 chapters but what I consider the final numbered chapter and the epilogue didn't fit into this five set.

I had to work late but I got to 11,000+ words for almost the end of the story. Got to a huge climax and it's gonna be a cliffhanger before we finally get our characters to the ending. 

A much easier week of writing as I became more with groups and possible friendships making my life better with plans/hopes. More that in the future. Also the longest write with plenty of cool action scenes & villainous dialogue. Friday sets the tone. 

Never seems to get easier with these weeks but we just have one left after this. This one's going to be very interesting. First of all there's something you might never expect to see with Layla, an argument between characters who should be happy, a prison break, another dream that I turned into a fascinating scene in dream again, noticing yonic imagery, and the dialogue and lines that I am so excited to share because it's some of the coolest. We're almost at the end of this story. 

Five more. Layla and Barry have to revisit the most chapters so it's hard to shorten all all that up and not skip some certain emotional beats. I'm really trying to do my best with it. I took on some interesting notes from what I learned this week. Quite a journey and almost caught up. A few more ditties. 

Five more chapters. More flashbacks like tonight's I kind of went whole hog with the flashbacks again but they're kind of necessary and there's not gonna be a lot after these five. It got me crying so hard. 

Five more chapters with the biggest stuff for next week. Going to be some flashbacks after this followed by the final scenes. We get to see yelling, hope, death, uncertainty, and some epic reveals.

Challenging to start the year. New Year's to the lot out of me but got it done.

Five chapters to start the new year

I just finished the editing so I'm gonna try and take it easy for Christmas and have the chapters released Tuesday through Saturday this week only. 

Recovery week done but I have five chapters for next week including a Christmas Day release. We'll see how next week goes. 

Hiatus next week through Christmas because of illness and the holidays. I miiight post a chapter or two involving Duncan/Miranda flashbacks but gonna be an easy load until I get my energy back. Need to recover. Have a lovely Christmas and holidays!

Wednesday chapter is rough I did not have time to finish editing it. I'm still very sick and exhausted. There's going to be a hiatus for around Christmas no chapters next week and then we'll see after that. I need to recover.
