Any of you writers ever look at your ongoing work and wonder whether it's worth continuing if you're not feeling good of how it's progressing? That's honestly how I'm feeling with Great Sage right now ...

I can personally tell you that I enjoy your story and I agree with the fact that things ha e to setup in order for future events so keep up the awesome work!!!
That’s a tough one. I had issues with that myself in my last story, in that I didn’t know how to progress (in a way that made me happy).
I’d find excuses to just talk about fairy shenanigans on every situation. Then would eventually turn into just briefly mentioning that the big characters are doing something. Experiencing it from their POV.
Nonetheless, I think your writing is nice. However, you want to change direction is fine with me.
Damn, a lot of the things others are saying are on point! My eyes have actually been opened, I didn't notice most of this when I was reading, but yea I can agree with pretty much everything said. Especially that things did seem a bit different after Sarise and familiars were introduced and that there is a lot of detail for short durations of time.
So, my other source of income to earn $500 a month has been cut off for half a year due to health situations. I am making money through subscribestar but it's not enough. Anyone have any ideas on how to make that much a month?
I've got no experience with this type of stuff but what about finding a part time job that leaves you a lot of free time to work on your novels? You'd have to focus more than before on writing the novels and try bringing in more subscribers/patrons. If you start uploading somewhat frequently, you'll definitely attract at least some subscribers.
@TypeFantasyHeart I've heard of fiverr but I didn't think they can offer services for advertisement. I'll probably look into it.
@Mynamejeff I have a full-time job that provides a stable source of income. If I made more on subscribestar, that might be a possibility, but not now. As much as I love writing, I don't want to rely on it for income so much that it wouldn't be fun for me to do anymore, you know? With that kind of pressure under these circumstances, I don't think I would even make it. I'd rather wait until I'm more confident in my writing to market it (and maybe drawing as well if I actually commit to it).

Will your novels be more erotic or the same level on scribble hub than on royal road because of their guidelines once the novels catches up.
It will be about the same level, as the current chapters on Royal Road have MANY euphemisms in place of actual explicit wording, but it hints enough that there is some 'action' going on. The sexual content here and webnovel is just telling them like it is with next to no euphemisms.
