I think the reason why i upgraded so much my ability to imagine nice ideas to an existing series, is because i saw too many "poison/bullshit scenes" in chinese web novels. Seeing them i thought : "tch, just do this and it looks good, why write this shitty cliche."

If i list all bullshits in it i will write too long and it will make me rage. I read it though despite me raging to it. Why ? Because you rarely see urban with a shop and a stall is even more rare.
In past. As long a urban series had a magic things = 99,99% that author introduce cultivation or magic hidden society. But in recent years, not so often.
If it had an analogy : i usually call decent good chinese web novels "flawed diamonds found in a pile of shit" as no recent ones can be perfect. But this one, it's a magic diamond but 3/4 of it's components is "shit".
I appreciate the enthusiasm and suggestions, but could you send these in private messages? I use this place for story updates so I'd like it to be not too cluttered.

Nice example of a mature dad MC. I also like the twist that it was maybe a "daydream" but MC wished hard "i don't want to go back" and it turned into reality. Near ch100+.
Of course, just like the idiom "100 people will have 100 different interpretion of Hamlet", it is just what i interpreted.

For me i got coughing because i was too cold because of sweeping broom at night for something. It was at throat "une toux grasse", but later traveled down to trachea and slight inflamations of lungs. MONTHS ! Now I am near healed but it keep going own for a long while. As if it grasp hard at not dying. I drank ton of hot water this months.

Indeed. But the thing is, only my father and mother had contact with me at home. Some family members visited but i was not in contact with them, for multiple reasons.
So me having this cold despite my parents being fine is weird.
But Not really as i was really not protecting myself from the cold temperature, as "Reunion island" got winter-summer only and reversed compared to France.
I was sweeping outside outside for 5min, because of a stray cat making things dirty in front of our house, but i was only in T-shirt + winter + at night. And later was not really making myself hot when i slept later. I was not sick for a long while, so i was caught by surprise by this "cold". Now i will pay more attention to my health. Because months of coughing is really shitty.
Yeah. I got stuck with a cough for a month or so too. Really annoying. Gotta take good care of your health in these times.

Even with your high quality writing, i have doubts you can't win against him.
He also do interesting comedy like you, less control in cliches/tropes/routines, but higher in originality, maybe.
Andur's writing is pretty good, but his style definitely tends more towards traditional books and writing. I've read his work in the past and appreciate them since they read like a proper published novel, but it's just not my cup of tea anymore. Probably because I've read literally thousands of published novels in the past and got sick of them. I dunno why, but I think it just seems kind of pretentious for some reason? Taking itself too seriously? :shrug:

In fact the reason i stop following him is because i finished all the works i liked of him and didn't continue the ones i disliked.
