my new computer that is only a few months old is now having an issue, which is not only extremely annoying, but is also forcing me to restart my computer a LOT. I think I will have to replace my computer, it seems to be a widespread issue that is affecting this model of computer only

I'm dipping my toes in programming so I can understand a story Idea I'm working on, mostly because the story came from a campaign I ran for a D&D session that I started considering working on an actual card game for it. I'm meddling with that right now actually, but I just wanted to notify you that this is what's happening. I have a story that is actually going to be based in the world being written.

well, I was gonna start with a 2d dungeon format for how to start it all, it seemed like the best way to start programming, but I couldn't figure out how to place anything on unity. I'm trying to figure out how to put down anything I can.
edit: I put down a background, camera, and a grid, which were things that I know I would include, but anything else and I can't put it in.
What do you want inside the screen, also you might want to make a .txt for the ideas, and think about the things you want in the game.
I am doing the tutorials now though, which is the big reason I'm just starting
Edit: right now I'm working on the classes only, with monsters using basic or advanced cards as their attacks from whatever class has a similarity. I have been actually typing up class Ideas.
Due to some life events I've slowed down on the updates, I did release another series after writing a short chapter to it a few days ago called ashes to ashes, although I want to rename it, so I would have at least something.
My updates are gonna be slowed down because I can't load pages easily, and there is more family stuff going on, so I'm going to refrain from writing for a bit.
I have a new computer! The keyboard is larger than what I'm used to though, so I type slower now, but everything else is better!
I'm sorry for the slower than average update speed, I'm dealing with writing the general starting chapters for Techno Bismal, and I have final exams to deal with.

No, no, it's not a problem. It's just I didn't expect it.
I wanted to do one a few weeks back, but remembered that I work with non-human mc's, so that wasn't possible
I try to find wallpapers that are close enough to what I want, then link the original producer, I didn't do it on my own, well except for my deathly silence series, which wasn't as hard to find nor create.
I posted a chapter on another series, but it is sci-fi, which is different from the other novels that I've written. if you want to read it I posted it a bit ago
Edit: I think it hasn't released yet, but you should find chapter one in my "writing" Reading list, where I keep all the stories that I've closed or I rewrote.
The gods of hiatus have struck me, or I'm just freaking stupid. I have more hiatus because of my assignments. I have to do three assignments, luckily I can use a word bank the teacher gave me because I tried on the assignment. the bad news is that one of them is a test, so expect that the hiatus will be on elongated for the foreseeable future.
I need a new name for the [balance of crafts] skill, it kind of sounds like a crafting skill as it is now.
Depending on the range of action and type, it could be applied, for example "Alchemy [Exchange of matter (in this case, it would be magic power for something solid)]", "Magical creation", "Manifestation of creation", etc.
It is the skill the demon queen uses to make it so their equipment doesn't work, I feel with a name like "balance of crafts" it sounds like a skill someone would use to cheat in a crafting competition

I'm going to rewrite and split up "The Demon Queen's New Daughters" chapter 1 because it should probably have been split up into 2 parts, to begin with. The amount of information will only slightly increase as I will try to prioritize explaining the chapter's information over adding new information.
I decided to put some Halloween-themed stuff in my chapter, but the things I added were normal enough that it wouldn't matter. The death screen they see was described to be a bit spooky, and there are a few skills that have spooky names, nothing more. I also decided to post the chapter on Halloween, because they're about a bunch of non-human characters it would be on holiday, and I have no outfit nor candy to give out in real life
