I agree that the plot is moving quite slow -- I was trying to challenge myself to write something i had no idea how (two separate arcs happening in different places) and this stretched the story a bit too far even for my liking, Looking back, I should've split the second book into two with a more defined climax around the Feast.
I think the pacing is mostly fine, even if it's slow! It's got so much slow and steady progress from other sources to keep reader entertained. Wouldn't worry too much about splitting books in webfic. You can always edit/split later if you decide to publish it, and like you said you do have a good end point for B2 there in the Feast.
Well i do try to write this as a book rather than a webfic. So a certain limit of plot progression is necessary. But this is a problem for a later time now.
<- MFW a 'for the lulz' smutfic that's 110% pantsed and 5% edited is more viewed/read webfic than any of my serious attempts at writing tho, to be fair, it is hella fun.
