I favor Isekai trash as a genre and enjoy reading and writing Gender Bender stories in particular.
I started out watching anime, then transitioned to Manga. From Manga, I learned of the existence of Light Novels. When I got annoyed at waiting for English Light Novels from turtle paced publishers, I discovered Web Novels. Eventually, fan translators also felt slow, so I started learning Japanese so I could read on Syosetu. Finaly, I decided that "Fuck it, I can do this too!"
Drawing on my experience running D&D campaigns, I began formulating the background world of Tricked, my first story.
The rest is history.
My stories tend to have a dark tone and a mature take on the Isekai genre. Expect happy things but also sadness.

Author you alright? Cuz its been 4 months since you last updated is the story just on haitus or discontinued?
Are there any plans of continuing the story currently?

Today's chapter is going to be delayed 24 hours. Wednesday's will release as normal.
I got hit with something that was massively influencing the tone of the chapter; far more aggressive/combative than I want it to be, and since these are meant to introduce a new character, I want to take some extra time and iron that out so as to avoid souring her first appearance.
Hopefully that works out for you.
Hmm, what happened to the Demon Queen series?, just noticed that it was gone.
Depression, largely. I want to bring it back, at some point, but it was a casualty of some bigger issues. At the moment, I don't have the motivation to do so.

I posted this in my discord earlier, but I know not everyone is in that. So for all my followers here, today's chapter of Tricked is going to be delayed until Wednesday afternoon-I've been dealing with a lot the past week, and have not had the time to sit down and focus on writing.
Thank you for writing this story. The quality of your prose, and the care and attention you are lavishing on your story is incredible.
I think that as a community, we get wrapped up in details of the tropes we enjoy. We complain about the RPG system, the nature of a character's relationships, or "rational" reactions or plans a character could have. This distracts from the actual objectives of a writer - to present a meaningful story, and to entertain the audience.
I just want you to know that your story is meaningful, and that I am THOROUGHLY entertained.

Well, I'm back. A short break was exactly what I needed and things are much calmer now. The next chapter of Tricked Into a NewLife, God Must be Screwing With Me! is scheduled for 1100UTC-7, that's an hour and twenty minutes from the time of this status!

Ahh or maybe it’s my preference’s influencing it because I only read female lead novels. I don’t think fanfics are filtered out because I have a lot of them in my library. 4th is still awesome tho.
