I'm kinda obsessed with the idea of iseaki protagonists that don't bother trying to hide the fact that they come from another world, especially when it involves taking over someone's body
Other characters def won't believe the transmigrator, but will quickly change their mind when they don't recognize family and ask about basic stuff like where's the bathroom
Finished fixing the text color of reincarnated into the worst otome game but the worms are unionizing. Also fixed a few errors and slightly reworded some chapters
Story idea: transmigration into a fantasy story with a system that forces the protagonist to act like the trashy character he/she took over with the threat of physical harm for breaking character.
Pretty standard stuff so far, but the twist is that the protagonist is like the final fantasy version of a dark knight and purposely uses the system to damage themself in combat to transfer that damage to their enemies/ power up their minus strikes
In the heat of combat the protagonist would say something along the lines of "I think commoners deserve rights" and then their opponent starts screaming in agony because they now know what 50,000 years in the vivisection pit feels like
Story idea, political intrigue plot in a fantasy setting. Main duo is the fantasy equivalent to a paranoid conspiracy theorist and an evil "adventurer".
You know that trope where a group of nefarious people pretending to be adventurers lure innocent people into dungeons to rob and or kill them? The evil "adventurer" was a part of one such group trying to scam the conspiracy theorist.
The conspiracy theorists "crazy ramblings" turn out to be true and the outlaws are caught up in the conspiracy with the evil "adventurer" being the only survivor. Now the conspiracy theorist and the evil "adventurer" have to work together to survive and stop the kingdom from being ruined
Story idea. Transmigration into a novel iseaki story, but the novel has a time loop plot akin to groundhog day or rezero. The protagonist knows they're in a time loop because they read the novel, but their memories don't carry over through resets.
The reader wouldn't get the perspective of the time looper. Every time the side character/orginal story's protagonist dies the story goes back to the first paragraph. Maybe in the first few loops the protagonist doesn't even get to encounter the looper because they die to quickly or something. Just background details change
Maybe the protagonist develops a psudeorng randomizer thing they do immediately upon reset so loops aren't stale to the reader and to throw off the time looper. Like they have other characters around them do a series of dice rolls or coin flips to determine how the protagonist acts. The butterfly effect basically guarantees the protagonist acts differently each loop because the loopers actions will cause the dice rolls to happen at different times thus leading to different results.
Yet another story idea. One of those modern day civilization gets invaded by fantasy Apocalypse/dungeon regression stories but with a heart warming vibe. A lot stories with that kind of setting are very misanthropic and treat human life lightly, so this story would be the complete opposite of that
The protagonist uses their time loop regression ability to find a path where NOBODY dies in the Apocalypse. Even the monsters coming from the portals are talked down and spared when possible.
Rather than some cold and aloof badass the protagonist is a incredibly warm and friendly philosophy/ethics student. The story doesn't just say "murder bad", it gets into the weeds and explains WHY murder is bad. When confronted with an enemy that views humanity as lesser and cattle, the protagonist actually confronts that view and proves them wrong
Also despite solving most problems with words, the protagonist isn't weak. I think it'd be funny if the protagonist intimidated an eldritch god/demon into being his best friend. Also the protagonist will point at people he befriended in previous loops and loudly shout "FRIEND" at them upon meeting them again for the first time. The confuesed, reacquired bestie will have no say in the matter.
It does that trope where the guide/tutorial entity has the authority to kill 1 person to set the mood, but there's a whole arc about saving the cannon fodder guy who gets obliterated
Another story idea. Otome iseaki with either a historical or fantasy setting, but the protagonist is basically a slasher movie villian. The story is hyper violent with the protagonist always choosing the nuclear option
The protagonist over time start to develop emotions and falls in love with the original host's personal maid. The maid is basically in a kobeni situation where they have comical amounts of plot armor
Bonus idea #1, the setting could be a modern romance novel with zero magic/cultivation elements. The only supernatural element is the system so other characters freak out when they notice the protagonist is doing things that should not be possible
Bonus idea #2 the police/authorities could be a major threat to the protagonist. There could be a major focus on the protagonist's efforts to avoid capture. Stuff like constantly having to wear a mask, using sewers/underground tunnels to travel around, and having to deal with city wide security cameras. What the protagonist has to do to stay hidden makes them miserable
Bonus idea #3 the protagonist could maybe be pretty open about the fact that they have a system. They inform their victims that they are not commiting these atrocities out of their own free will. The protagonist refers to the system as a demon around other people. Bonus idea #1 could perhaps convince the other characters that the protagonist is in fact actually being controlled by a demon since magic shouldn't be real
Hey, thanks for reviewing my story (and also thanks for calling me skilled)! You always were my biggest hater/biggest fan lol :P I can't reply to a review, but I just wanted to say, your timing is amazing lol. I'm actually in the process of re-reading my previous chapters of Level Up Saintess so that I can continue on with it.
Don't worry, none of the chapters are getting deleted, and any changes I made to them are miniscule. I also totally promise that Arissa will keep slowly getting less annoying and more assertive, although it's still gonna be quite gradual lol. Hopefully sometime during this month the next chapter will come out, and hopefully it won't disappoint you :P
All the way back in chapter 2 of 'the young lady has run away' I said I couldn't come up with a good way to subvert elves. I eventually came up with a really good idea, but now I gotta wait until after the academy arc to properly show it off.
I think I'm going to take some time and alter both the capital confrontation and we're gonna have a nice long chat after this chapters with the goal of making Cornelius a bit more unlikable. Then I'll post a side chapter which will be the last chapter before the academy arc starts
