In the past month I have have 3 cats get sick, one died, one is being syringe fed, and the third is recovering. On top of that someone found a cat with a mangled leg and brought them to the shelter I volunteer at. The leg was amputated, and I'm taking care of her. Oh, just got in a car accident. So, been a tough few months. I am planning on returning to writing, but I have no time right now.
Lmao, the car accident was an afterthought compared to the cats. Hope the Syringe Feeding one heals up and the three legged one gets along with the rest of your furry family. And that you're doing better after the accident.
Update...
Wilson has taken a turn for the worse. I'm syringe feeding him, using thickit to make his water easier to swallow, he's on 4 different types of medication, and I've taken an old oxygen compressor and made an impromptu oxygen tent. However, His breathing is still getting worse. Looks like one last visit to the vet in the morning.
I could sure use an unearned miracle right about now.
We will wait. I am sure it will be worth it.

Just an FYI.
My Job is for NYS and I have for a few weeks been banished to Auburn. That's an extra hour drive one way. Currently working 90 hours a week, including commute. It'll be a while until I recover and can get back to writing.

Well, the wife is recovering from surgery. It's slow going, but steady.

I'm going to try keeping my release schedule on my forum sig from now on. As of right now, chapter 30 is done. Meaning chapter 30a to 30f is done. So starting 1/15 to 1/30 you get chapters while I try to fine tune the ending. I suspect I will be ending in chapter 31, or chapter 32. depends on how much of a wrap up/set up for book 3 I think we need.

Please do at the very least try to post flip the script in th nsfw story section not all at once I know the story is far in but people tend to comment on chapters so 3-5 at a time would be best

Working on it. Hoping to stick to every three days, although I need to fix the last chapter I wrote. I just realized it creates a huge plot hole.
Update: I picked up a drug resistant infection. They have been applying antibiotics with a hose. Sorry, but I'm gonna have to put any plans on hold until I recover. I have a migraine that won't quit.

Recovered, but now I'm working my butt off to make up for the month I had to take off of work.

NYS. It's a go ernment job with the disabled. The state raised minimum wage for everyone to 15, which resulted in most jobs going up to 20 to 25, and starting at my job is 22.28. No, they raised everyone else, but not us. I got 15 yrs in, so I'm way over that, but the union contract is locked in for 5 yrs.
Nobody wants to work here because the clients do try to kill you sometimes, but since they are already wards of the state, you can't press charges. Or rather, there is no point.
Yeah, I work for a similar facility. You have my sympathies, as I can directly relate.
I am stuck in a doom loop.
My boss is out... forever now. On top of we lost the assistant... three times now. They keep YANKING people from my work site and using them to fill in other places because we're holding it together. But then, someone gets sick, so people get mandated into 16,18,24 hours shifts. So they start to check to see if we got coverage, and call in on days where they will get mandated, which results in more mandates.
I got stuck on 34 hours straight without sleep... again.
So, I figure, 500 words is better than nothing. Plus, I can't focus enough for complex parts, so i'm writing the easier parts now, so it's not like I can post what I have, because it's out of order.
Unless you guys WANT spoilers for next book.
Anyrate, sorry. I'm slowly plodding ahead. I always write something every day, but it's not much lately.
This will continue for at least a month at this rate.

I work for New York State. The salary is negotiated by the union and isn't set in stone, so much as set in neutronium.
Huh... what kinda work you do? Is that company being cheap by not hiring an intern for replacement or they aren't that capable to do so since there's a shortage?
FYI, I'm dealing with sort of flu/bug. It's been a week now and I feel like crap. Trying to concentrate gives me a headache. So I've gotten zero writing done. It's gonna take a while to recover.

Thanks. I'm powering through the final chapters of HKN. Then it is, finish the end of Hotrod Lantern, the wrap-up of FTS, and we finally get back to ending IWS. Then, I think I'll have a poll to see which story I work on after that. But yeah. Just finished the clean up of chapter 119. 3 more chapters to go, then it's done.
