Absolutely!

Those are some of the things I look for when I consider world-building. For me, it's not just about the larger setting, such as the land layout, the cultures or the driving factions of the plot points; it's also the smaller rules and functions which impact decision-making on a scene-to-scene basis.

I see, i've already done it for some other stories, and even this one. I honestly just begin writing in a whim and have fun while in the ride. I dislike planning things because I quickly lose motivation to write as it becomes predictable, I often times like to surprise myself. I dont know if its a bad or good thing, but as someone that only cares about having fun, I dont think its bad. 

Doing all these "rules" seem to make sense, but also seem to limit my own imagination, making things very boring and a chore, i like to leave things loose to open many possibilities to be honest. 

And honestly, that's totally fine. The story is still fun and enjoyable, so if you're enjoying yourself then I would just say keep at it and keep having fun!
