I'm an author, but not published, unless you count online sites. I try to be happy every day and I wish to keep working to be a published author while I'm able. With every piece of writing, I take another step towards making my dream come true. I will do my best to move forward. It's my dream to have my work published in a hardcover book that people can cherish their whole life. If I can't make that happen, oh well. I'll at least have given it my best shot.
I write Yuri, Gender-Bender, Drama, Tragedy, Action and more. I love fantasy more than any other genre. It sure does take you away from the bad stuff in life, but it also engages my imagination in a way that nothing else can beat. ^^

It's a quiet place and I don't make announcements there that often. (So you won't be pestered by @ calls)
would you be okay if I joined and didn't do anything? I don't really use discord that much.
Sure! Everyone does that! I don't pressure anyone to do anything they don't want to do.
Try entering the Honeyfeed my anime list contest if you want a story to be a anime.
Good luck.
"The novel’s main plot has to fall under at least one of the contest’s prompts & themes, which must be listed in the “Note from author."
I don't like being on rails. My only limitations are my own.
I will not be participating in the Honeyfeed contest. At least not this year's. The rules and stipulations aren't a good fit for my project, thus I'll have to reject an easier and more direct path to getting published in the right market for the kind of stories I want to tell.
However, I will post Narcoleapsy on Honeyfeed and other sites if things continue looking positive in development! There are a few ways to potentially get the right kind of attention even if you write in English.
Very True, @Rellawing.
40814 words and 13 chapters.
what are you writing ? O_O or more like what kind of story you Baking ?
A one shot
@werewolf1987 A dark fantasy isekai serialization! I hope people like it once I've edited and released it! I'm keeping everyone updated on my progress! @SerikoLee It's not actually a oneshot project. It's something to do when I'm not working on Superluminal since I'm working on getting that published.
This story's cover might be a bit weak, considering that unlike the rest of my stories, except for Kamifan's, I've done it from scratch myself, and I'll use it until I know how good the story is. If the first arc runs well, I might invest in something better than I can draw myself. For those who are curious, here is the cover: https://www.shorturl.at/atH68

37736 words and 12 chapters! I took a bit of a break to sort my mind on a few things and research. Plus I was feeling a bit sick (not related to the splurge writing I did when Is tarted this project).
I really love your story (superluminal) but since in not the author I think shoud shut up
Love you story and hope to read more^^ would love some story while our MC goes the void route
As far i can tell wish, would love to the story with normal price^^
Thank you, Mimm3l!
Someone who messaged me gave me the idea of opening a serious writer's Discord server. If you have any opinion over what channels should be added beyond what I've done with it, please do share if you take the time to join. If you do join up, you don't have to be social. Your presence at the very least signifies your support.

@CL That one's not for the purpose of supporting me as an author. It's entirely for the sake of a community for the QuillHeaven site, which isn't going much anywhere despite all the effort I've put into it. It's a pretty site, at least as pretty as I wanted to make it, but maybe I'll have to make it more generic and bland-looking before it gets much used.
I'm not sure if you remember my troubles in connecting with Quill Heaven, but I do sometimes wonder if I'm truly alone with my connection issues when related towards your website. I really don't have these connection issues anywhere else.
That is true.
33524 words and 11 chapters! Taking the rest of the night to chill out after a pass of edits. My editors are taking their time with their work for various reasons: health, work, education etc... so I doubt they'll go quite as fast as I can. I may end up uploading the lightly edited versions, but I want more of a stock to open with. Not sure how many will feel right before I publish.
26573 Words and 9 chapters! I think I'm going to sleep. XD
Crazy mad lad
What do you do to get into a writing rhythm?
Enjoy your sleep
Sleep is good. Enjoy!
If I'm not in a rhythm, @Yairy , I don't write and typically watch videos or something, but when I'm writing a story, no matter whatever I do, ideas keep piling up in my head and when I have enough of an idea to continue, I splurge write! When ideas won't flow I either struggle or wait for the right moment.
An update on my isekai project: I have a world map made for it and eight chapters are written. I'm continuing to stockpile chapters for a big release like with Superluminal. I may write a couple of arcs before I start publishing.
Wordcount so far: 24143 | Editors: AlliterativeArts, Trismegistus Shandy, Assurbanipal II
I'm feeling very good about this project, even though it's dark fantasy so far. I never thought I'd be writing anything like this!
Never thought it'd happen, but it happens. I know some stories I had wanted to write didn't end up being what I had intended (far from it). But as long as you're feeling good, keep enjoying the experience.
It's hard to enjoy it per se, but same as always, I'm seized by inspiration and my fingers fly on the keyboard. That kind of inspiration isn't guaranteed but, but I do want to see where this one takes me.
I'm thinking about releasing a new story here and maybe Royal Road. The idea for it was provided by a friend who nagged me about focusing exclusively on SuperLuminal's first manuscript for such a long time.
As a reader who's entire list is made up of pretty much all of these tags, yes, I would read it.
I'd give it a try.
Yeah I would absolutely read it. I would like to read your work with fresh eyes once more.
Id love to see it!
*pats*
I was thinking about cutting down on the Leo to Leona transitional period (the Prologue) to get quicker to the meatier bits, even though that means getting rid of a lot of important backstory IMO and world-building... I wonder... if you read Superluminal, do you think removing or reducing chapters 1-8 would be beneficial?
It a heavy question, since I like how the story is presenow the world is look presented
For me you doesn't need to edit anything ^^
Here's another question that's related to the front content. The chapters in the manuscript were resorted to be more linear. Do you think this might take something away from the current version? 1. What Is Love? 2. Their Fates 3. After The Move 4. At The Forefront 5. A History Of Violence 6. Stained Snow (New) 7. Oh... O’ Natural? 8. Out And Outed 9. Snowflake In A Desert (New) 10. Transitioning
Current and old order of chapters: 1.01-2 – What is love? 1.02-2 – At the Forefront 1.03-2 – A history of violence 1.04-2 – Their fates 1.05-2 – After the move 1.06-2 – Oh O Natural 1.07.2 – Out and outed 1.08.2 – Transitioning (I sometimes wonder if moving At the Forefront several chapters later might weaken the story's ability to hold a reader's interest.)
Bad news for everyone today! Moonquill has rejected Superluminal the second time after long waiting both times (shorter the second at least) but... it is indeed a complete rejection. I was hit pretty hard by it, but didn't shoot the messenger. Continued >>>
@Xeno_King There's double posts. I tried to delete one and it was somehow joined with the other and deleted the second. I'm leaving the other one, knowing removing one would remove both! I'm sorry that that happened. What you said in response to my message is very valuable.
"We think you may have cut out some important character..."
So it's not fully rejected, just they want the story written the way "they" like it instead.? Is that what I'm hearing from that? Whatever the case may be, I'm hoping the best for you! Keep fighting!
<3
The most recent passthrough of editing on the manuscript was completed tonight, although I'm already thinking about adding even more --- jeez... light novel my backside... the closer it gets to 100k, the crazier it all gets. XD
Hiiiiii heres a fresh cookie
Awww thank you! <3
Nya! <3
The SuperLuminal Light Novel Project - Volume 1 - The Dream has reached a point where we'll be again thinking about publishing!
I'm looking for a couple of beta readers for the book! If you want to read the book ahead of an Amazon release, this is your opportunity and it'll help me in the process! (Publishing still is unscheduled atm... because I'm still deciding whether I want to self-publish or go with MoonQuill)
The conditions:
1. It's 373 pages (75373 words) - I need someone who can read quickly enough and will think critically about what they're reading.
2. Send me a message in a PM, and I'll talk with people to confirm a few things before proceeding.
3. Only 2-3 people will be selected. (I don't need to go overkill with this)
There are new chapters and things have been reordered here and there, so expect it to be a better read than what's on Scribblehub!
Thanks! <3
i would do this if i picked up superliminal again, but i hope you do find someone for it
Thanks, @Booper150! <3
I can't always do major updates on Superluminal to let everyone know what's up all the time, so I'll release a short note here:
The cover is complete! <3 At least we think so!
I'm also in the process of creating an author's website (one of those things that most authors who want to be big get set up!) That one's taking time to finish, even though I was trying for a simple project, things have a way of getting a bit out of hand. XD
Here's a goodie to have a look at! <3

Please god tell me there is a dark mode so I can us the website at 2 in the morning
Hai , been a while since i got back
@SerikoLee Welcome back!
@Dethal I'm tempted to do a theme also in blue... that would be gentler on the eyes, I think. So two themes in total. But that would take more time, for sure. XD It's mostly about another stylesheet, but it's also about moving as much inline styling out and into those sheets... otherwise, tricky XD
