Shove!shove....

"Ugh..."(Liana)

What happened?...

Ah...

I lost consciousness...

I slowly open my eyes and saw...

I was on a bed in a small apartment room...

"Oh, your awake"(Echo)

I can see Echo sitting at a chair beside a window...

I slowly raise my body up, it hurt...

"Ouch...."(Liana)

"Hey, hey, don't work yourself"(Echo)

Echo got up and put his hand on my shoulder and push me gently down to the bed again...

I look at Echo...

"What happened?"(Liana)

Echo rises up then looks at me...

"Well, you were severity injured by the Mech... Well, getting tossed to the ground with a force that can make a small crater, of course, that's got to hurt... I was pretty surprised about your natural healing I have never seen anyone heal that fast... Moreover that your bones fixing itself with just a couple of hours..."(Echo)

What?...

"Well, you still need some time to rest you were knocked out for 12 hours you know?"(Echo)

"You should rest... You are still not fully healed and we still have about 3 days anyway I think... we already completed our objective... So now we just wait till help arrives"(Echo)

I look at where the window is and saw that we are close to the skyscrapers...

I can see a lot of red crystals glowing in the distance...

It's around 5 pm it seems...

The sun is setting in the distance...

But the crystal seems to glow and light up the place a little...

"Well at least we have a breather now..."(Echo)

Well kinda true... 

Every day is so intense that I never really have any day off...

Even at night I still have to be cautious while sleeping...

Having this without anything bothering you is nice...

I slowly relax on the bed while looking out the window...

I then remembered something...

Echo look at me when I said that...

"What is it, kid?"(Echo)

"Oh... Just remembering something before I got here..."(Liana)

"And what is that?"(Liana)

"I just remembered that my family was about to throw me a birthday party a couple of days late when we got home.... well that was before I die and reincarnated here..."(Liana)

Yeap, I remember back then I can see that they are having fun preparing the birthday presents after we got home...

I look down...

"What date is your birthday at?"(Echo)

Echo then put his hand on his chin while thinking...

I look at him...

Echo then got up and grabbed a chair somewhere and put it right beside me...

He then sits down again facing me...

He then took out something behind his vest...

"I don't know if this is good or not but..."(Echo)

Echo then showed me the star hairpin on his hand...

"Do you mind accepting this as a birthday present from me?... It's lonely right? Not having to celebrate your birthday..."(Echo)

I was shocked...

Echo sighted at my answer...

But he slowly nobs and out the hairpin back on his pocket behind his vest...

He then slowly put his hand on top of my hand and rub it gently...

It feels really nice...

"Well I don't know if it's too late or not but..."(Echo)

Echo look at me as I look at him...

"Happy birthday kid..."(Echo)

Happy birthday huh...

Tears slowly run down my face...

"Eh! Hey please don't cry now I'm bad at dealing with this kind of thing...."(Echo)

He said that while still patting my head...

When I was reincarnated here I was almost all alone...

Maybe with system, I'm not but still... 

It makes me lonely that system doesn't really have any personality and can only answer some of my questions...

I meet Echo on a wimp but...

I look at Echo and smile...

Maybe it's not too bad at all that I meet someone I can talk to in this world...

We both then have fun talking in this little room while the sun falls in the distance and the crystal started to light up...

I then see something on the crystals in the distance on the window...

What I see is particles of small glowing light started to pour up to the sky from the red crystals everywhere in the city...

"Pretty..."(Liana)

Echo also looks at the window in the distance...

"Ah to think I see Mana crystal burst like this..."(Echo)

"Mana crystal burst?"(Liana)

Echo nob while still looking at the distance...

"It's very rare... But when a Mana crystal has too much magic power... It will make small particles of Mana come out from the crystal and fly to the sky making a pretty spectacular sight to see while also speeding its Mana all over the place making the place very rich and filled with Life... Well, that was from a book I read... Never would have thought that I will see it happening in this place..."(Echo)

Echo slowly looks up to the sky and I also lookup...

The particles fly up to the sky making it look like Stars...

"It's amazing..."(Liana)

Mom, Dad, Luka, Mira...

I wonder what all of you are doing right now...

I missed you guys...

I wish we can see this together...

I keep watching as the crystals light up the sky with little light as the day end...

It may not be as great as a birthday gift...

But...

I look at the sky...

Then to Echo...

"Thank you..."(Liana)

Echo looks at me and then rubs my head this time ruffly while laughing...

"You don't need to say, anything kid... It's the least I can do to you we still have something to do now"(Echo)

I smile happily at what he said as I look at the view from the window...

"..."(Liana)

I still want to hurry up and find a way home to where everyone is...

But...

Maybe I should also enjoy my time in this world to...
