Step!Step!Step!Step!
Along the long corridors inside the base, a squad of four men was running through...
RATATATA!
RATATATA!
Defender droids were shooting them along the way...
They also shoot back with their weapons at them...
The fighting was intense...
But they managed to run through till they made it to an open door that led to a storage area...
The leader told the others to stay alert as they went deeper into the storage area...
The place was filled with high shelves filled with metal boxes and barrels...
But there are no defender droids here when they look around...
Only the sound of the humming light above was heard...
They all started securing the place and after some time didn't find anything at all and they all met up in the center of the place...
Pachusss...
Suddenly they all heard a door opening and aimed all of their weapons over there but stopped as the one that came in was another squad of them...
The leader of their squad looked at the other leader of the other squad...
"Code name?" (Squad Leader 1)
"VI0-2" (Squad Leader 2)
"Lower your weapon men" (Squad Leader 1)
After confirming the other squad member they all regroup and decided to stay here to rest for the moment...
One of the squad leaders pulled out a radio to call the last squad that was not here to check up on them...
"Pcssssss*... Squad V-3 you copy? Squad V-3 you copy?" (Squad Leader 1)
The radio was silent...
Only the sound of static...
But then...
"Plachik............" (???)
"Hm?" (Squad Leader 1)
"What's wrong?" (Squad Leader 2)
Both leaders of the squad started listening to the radio...
Hoping for the squad on the other side to answer...
But what came was...
"Tick!Tock!... Tick!Tock!" (???)
""A clock?"" (Squad Leader 1&2)
What they heard was the sound of a clock...
The sound echoed through the whole storage room...
The others also heard this and were confused as to what was happening...
But then...
Buzz*buzz*buzz*...
The light above started flickering...
Everyone started griping their guns...
They all knew something wasn't right here...
"Check the entrance!" (Squad Leader 2)
The second squad leader shouted at them...
They only have four soldiers, two power suits, and two leaders...
There are two entrances in the storage room...
The one in front and the back...
Two of each soldier on the team started moving towards the two entrances...
The light in the storage room kept flickering nonstop...
The first two soldiers managed to get to the entrance where they came and saw that it was closed...
They tried to open it but it's not working...
Both of them quickly got back to where the others were and relayed the information...
They then waited for the other two soldiers that were checking the other entrance...
But...
They never came back...
They started to get anxious waiting for them this long...
But out of nowhere...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa!!!...." (???)
A scream was heard somewhere...
Suddenly the screen visor each of them had on their helmet flashed red for a second...
And then the whole place went dark...
Everyone was startled by the sudden blackout...
But they quickly turned on their headlamps on their helmet and quickly organized themselves before looking at where the sound originated...
When the light from their helmet shone through the darkness they noticed that the scream originated where the other two soldiers were supposed to be...
They quickly packed their stuff and ran towards the entrance they didn't check yet...
They are tense...
Each of them is gripping their guns tightly with their finger already in the trigger ready to shoot at anything they see...
As all of them got to the door leading to the entrance they saw one of their soldiers bleeding on the floor...
One of them ran to him to check for injuries...
"Hey, you okay?" (Soldier ?)
"Ugh..... Please! H-h-help him!" (injured soldier)
He pointed his hand towards the entrance...
All of them looked there and saw one of their soldiers with his back turned on them...
Standing below a light in the ceiling alone in the dark corridor...
One of the leaders of the squad shouted at the lone soldier...
"HEY! YOU GET BACK HERE!" (Squad Leader 1)
The lone soldier suddenly flinches as the squad leader says that...
"H-huh? How did I get here?" (Lone Soldier)
He then turned towards them...
And then notice where I was now...
He was confused but he quickly talked to the squad leader that was quite far away from him...
Little did he know the light above him started flowering again...
"Oh, hey leader! I don't know how I got here but-" (Lone Soldier)
As he looked at the others he saw that they were staying silent with their guns facing towards him...
He was more confused now...
"U-u-um leader?" (Lone Soldier)
Little did he know that the reason the others were aiming their guns at him was because they saw something behind him...
From the darkness, a pair of white slender hands came through and slowly headed towards the Lone soldier's back helmet...
Everyone who saw this was shaken a little...
Why?...
Because the flashlight in their helmet didn't seem to even light up the darkness...
Only the hand was showing...
The lone soldier didn't know anything until it was too late...
"A-ah-" (Lone Soldier)
His screen was covered by the arm and then...
Buzz*PACHIK!...
The light went off...
And what followed was...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaa!!!" (Lone Soldier)
A scream...
Everyone started to panic but one of the leaders of the squad calmed down and shouted...
"FIRE!!!" (Squad Leader 1)
No questions asked...
Everyone started firing their guns at the darkness...
The muzzle of the gun kept spewing...
But the light didn't penetrate the darkness...
They don't even know if they hit their teammates or even anything...
They slowly walked back...
One of the soldiers grabbed the wounded soldier on the floor as well...
As they were doing that the door of the entrance also started closing slowly...
But that didn't stop them from firing their guns...
The door kept closing and closing then...
GATHAK!...
The door entrance closed...
And they all stop firing...
Buzz*Buzz*...
The light above started buzzing for some reason...
And as the squad leader saw this he started raising one of his free hand to signal the others...
"Regroup in the middle!" (Squad Leader 1)
"Roger!" (Everyone)
They all started moving towards the middle...
Half of them were securing the front while half of them were defending their back...
The darkness around the place kept looming at them...
Their head flashlight was pretty dim and they can only see a couple of weeks away...
This darkness is not normal but they can only regroup and think about a plan to get out of here...
And...
Little did they know while they were moving someone was standing at the top of a box at the very top of a tall metal shelf above them...
Looking at them silently...
With her red glowing eyes...
