Olivia’s question hung in the air for a few seconds.

“Well, it's not that easy to say. I mean what would you describe as love” Chloe answers.

“Yes” Amelia answers.

And after thinking that the question itself was going to be the most acquired part of this conversation, Amelia confesses to this. After this Chloe and Amelia started to talk to each other in a more hushed tone. I could hear part of it but most of the conversation seemed more personal than what I should eavesdrop on.

“Maybe I shouldn't have asked that.” Olivia said to me.

“Why did you?” I say in response.

“I wanted to know if I would have more competition for Arthur.”

Is that all she thinks about? “Why do you instantly think that everyone we meet is going to want to date him?”

“Like you don’t understand what's going on. It's not just me and you, but so many others, and I don't think I can handle anyone else.”

“I’ve told you this before, but I don’t feel that way towards Arthur. And I’m pretty sure that right now it's just you that feels that way.”

“I know that's not true.” She says to me and then stops talking.

(Chloe POV)

“What do you mean, yes? Amelia we talked about this after we had that talk with him, and none of us could say that then, what's changed?” I ask her. We talked about our feelings towards him after our talk with him about sex, and all three of us said that as much as we like him, right now none of us love him.

“Well things change. I've spent more time with him and I confirmed my feelings for him.” She told me. “Why else do you think I pushed for us to spend alone time with him yesterday?” Yesterday we had agreed that we would compete to spend time with None, alone. I won the competition and got to spend the first half of the day with him. I was going to use that time to hopefully get a better understanding of my crush. Amelia came in second and got to spend the afternoon with him. Tess lost and didn’t get any. “I wanted to have a date with him during the festival. I thought you wanted the same.”

“That's not important. What is, is the fact that you just told someone that you're in love with him. And he is going to meet them soon. That was one thing that got set up with the church today.” I say to her.

“The way you say that means that something else happened.”

“None used the summoning ritual and did something unprecedented”

“What could he possibly have done, summon a demon king or a dragon?”

“He summoned an archangel you apparently showed up naked.” I told her in exasperation.

After a few seconds Amelia started to laugh. “I’m sorry, but not only did he summon an archangel, probably the most powerful summon ever heard of, but they also showed up in front of him naked. What, are you scared that this is another girl? You know None has no concept of sexual desire, and a very underdeveloped sense of romantic desire. He isn’t going to randomly start dating another person without talking to us about it.”

What she said was right. What we had inadvertently built around None was his only source of friendship. It was very unlikely that he would fall in love with another person and not talk to us about it.

With all of these laid out, I had a better grasp of what was happening. Still not understanding my own feelings for None, but knowing that I have not that much time to figure out those feelings.

(None POV)

“So this is a tournament that will be 4 rounds, totaling 16 participants” I explained to this disembodied voice of Uriel. “It seems that the favorite to win is the hero. I’m not sure how strong he is, but it makes sense because Tess isn’t that well known anymore.”

“So this Tess is another one of your friends? How strong is she?” Uriel askes.

“Not really sure. I know that she has a unique title and skill that gives her a powerful sword art, but stats wise I would have to look at her status” I say in response.

“Why don’t you just look at her status. You have wisdom already right?”

“But that's mean. I person's status is personal info that you should chose to give someone.”

After a little time Urile asked me a new question. “Why do you think that?”

“Someone told me”

“And you just believed them”

“Yeah, why not?” I asked, confused.

“You know, every time i meet a new you there are some things that change and some things that don't. This is probably the best one. You always trust people. Never change that.” I couldn't see her face but I knew she was smiling.

After a little longer I finally found a place to sit and waited for the tournament to start.

About 10 minutes later the announcer for the tournament came out. They proceed to announce the participants. They were, in no particular order,
