Crystaria looked towards Gabo who was standing by talking to Athena. She turned back to the goblins she was speaking to and said to them.

“Please excuse me! I need to talk to elder Gabo.”

“Aww!” Many protests came from the children, and a few from the adults. She waved at them as she turned towards Gabo.

"I will be back to give a few more names and suggestions later. But work on them while I am gone." The group she had been talking to waved back at her.

As she approached, she noticed that Seshat had made her way to her mate, and there was another female goblin standing besides both Seshat and Gabo. They all were talking to Athena. From the sound of things, they were discussing what to do with Grog.

"Gabo still thinks we should just roll him out of the village and leave him to rot." He says towards the others standing near him.

Athena shakes her head at what he said.

"Athena does not think that is what the Demon Lord would want. She had every chance to kill them, but even to the end she spared Gobran. Even when he tried to kill Athena. Athena thinks we should spare him."

"Well if you want to know what this one thinks!-"

"NO!" Gabo and Athena interrupt the other goblin standing next to them.

"HMPH!" The older female goblin crosses her arms, her cheeks puff out in frustration and she gives both of them a stern look.

Seshat walks up to her and pats her on the arm giving her a consoling look. She looks down and smiles at Seshat, but doesn't loosen her stances of defiance.

"What is going on?" Crystaria asks as she enters their circle.

"Ah! Demon Lord. Gabo and family were talking about what to do with Grog." He explained.

"Oh kay... And why would we need to do anything?" She asks. Not in ignorance, but more to ascertain their opinion on the matter.

"Because!" Gabo exclaims. "He lost the duel. While he might be only champion to Gobran, Grog to much trouble to keep here at village!"

"Why is that? Is he dangerous?" She questioned.

"Yes-" Gabo tries saying but gets interrupted.

"NO! Grog is not dangerous!" Athena refutes.

"He is! Grog can't think for Grog's self! He needs Gobran and only listens to Gobran! He is stupid." He stated.

This put a frown on Crystaria's face. She didn't like the idea that they discriminated against someone because of how they acted. I also don't believe a person is to "stupid" that they can't see reason. She thought on the matter and gave a response.

"It will be entirely up to Grog then." She announced. Athena and Gabo turned and looked at her with wide eyes.

"He can't-"

"Athena's thinks that-"

Then they were both back to glaring at each other.

*SIGH*

"Look." Crystaria said to draw their attentions. "We, and more to the point, I. Can't very well make a decision for anyone else unless I know what I am dealing with. So I can't very well say we send him away, or just to take care of him. Maybe he won't want either decision. Maybe he will want to go chase after Gobran. And I will only be able to know that once I talk to him."

The other two look at each other in worry.

But the fourth goblin here unfolds her arms reaches back,

*SMACK*

Striking Gabo across the back of his head.

"Why have you taken so long to introduce this one to the Demon Lord! Why has this one been left out of meeting her?!" The older female demands.

"T-This one! Gabo is sorry! Gabo had meant to-" He was cut off again by another smack to the top of his head.

"This one does not want to here your excuses! First you meet the Demon Lord! Then Seshat gets a name and neither of you tell this one! unacceptable!"

"This one... Please don't be so rough on Gabo. He did not mean too. he was just-" Seshat tried to intervene.

*SMACK*

She too, received a smack to the head.

"And you! This one doesn't even have the decency to return to your first mate and tell her that this one- no, not this one: Seshat! Has a name before her! And that you told me last!"

UGH! First mate?! WHAT?! Crystaria's thoughts were all jumbled at what she just heard and the crazy antics and dynamics that were happening in front of her. Being afraid that whoever this first mate was to Seshat actually being mad and hurting anyone.

"Hey! This one shouldn't be mad at them. I gave Seshat her name. They asked me to give her a name, or I should say tricked me into giving her a name. But I also was willing, so-" She stuttered at the upset female goblin. But the older female stared down at her with slanted eyes.

“So! It was this one, Crystaria that gave my mate her name? Then as for you!” She started to walk toward her.

This was Crystaria’s first real look at this goblin. While she would say that Gabo was a typical older man that had a long white beard, a wrinkly face of a man reaching his retirement age. Seshat on the other hand, was a goblin that had wisdom written on her face for her all her wrinkles. Her hair was mostly white now with specks of brown of her original hair color.

But this goblin: was very well built, her muscles were very defined and she, while older, had very tight skin with few wrinkles. Her hair was mostly brown, that was salt-and-peppered with white and gray. Her hair was tied in a similar fashion as Athena’s, pulled back and kept in a ponytail.

She reaches down, lifting Crystaria with both hands, pulling her into a hug.

“This one thanks you O’ great one! This one can not express to the Demon Lord how happy you have made this one!”

Huh?!

“Huh?!” Crystaria could not help but let her inner thoughts out as she was crushed into a hug that lifted her off the ground.

“Grandma! Please! That is the Demon Lord you are lifting and treating like a child!” Athena protest.

“Graamma?!” Crystaria shouts in shock and disbelief, although the words came out muffled and distorted.

“*TSK* This child...” She puts down Crystaria and turns to Athena. “And you! Why does this one also only hearing about your new name during a duel?! And this one also did not hear about Athena being named champion for the Demon Lord! Why are you all keeping secrets from this one?!" She demands in a worried tone.

Crystaria go in front of her again.

“That was my fault as well! I gave her: her name after she made me this dress!” Explained frantically, trying her best to assuage the older females worries. “And I also asked her to be my champion yesterday when I learned how powerful I was.” She told her, then hurriedly explained. “I didn’t think it would have been fair for me to challenge Grog or Gobran myself because of how unbelievably strong I am: I mean, did you see what I did to that sword?!”

She looked surprised and taken aback. Then she slanted her eyes and bent forward towards Crystaria. She got almost getting to eye level with her. She was about half a head taller than Athena, was was almost a third taller then her. It made Crystaria back up a step with her close proximity.

“Why does this one keep trying to interject into this one’s arguments? Why does it concern you?” She asked in a soft, but questioning tone.

Crystaria took a deep breath to ready herself and her answer.

“Because, they are my friends,” She gestures behind her. “they have done nothing but help me and treat me well since I have gotten here, despite everything I've told them, they continued to show me kindness that I frankly didn’t necessarily deserve.”

The female goblin stood up straight, putting her hands on her hips, just peering down and observing Crystaria. This scrutiny started to make Crystaria nervous.

Then in another unexpected move. The female goblin reached down, grabbing Crystaria in another smothering embrace.

“This one likes this one! She will make a fine Chieftain! Strong yet humble! This one treats this one’s family well!”  The older female goblin proclaimed. Crystaria was embarrassed by the praise while being crushed in yet another hug against this older goblin’s breasts.

“Dear,” Gabo spoke up. “Maybe it would be best to refrain from showing such affection toward the Demon Lord.”

“*TSK* Since when have both of my second mates been so strong willed?” The female goblin questioned aloud. She then lets go of Crystaria from her embrace, who lands nimbly on her feet, while doing a double take from Gabo and Seshat, to the older female goblin.

“Second mates?!” She asked confusedly.

The older female goblin looks down at Crystaria and says.

“Yes, Second mates; They are both my mates.”

“But, what?! Huh?!” She stuttered in shocked disbelief.

“*TSK* How is it that the Demon Lord does not know about having multiple mates? What kinda goblin are you?” The older female asked incredulously.

Crystaria had to sigh at her questions. It was reasonable to question her, but the thought that of having to repeat and explain herself about these things over and over started to make her spirit weary. That she was just making up some sort of excuse every time she got asked this.

“That is because I wasn’t always a goblin.” She stated flatly to the older female, who's eyes widened at this, she then turned to look at her mates for confirmation.

At there nodding heads she turned back towards Crystaria.

“Huh? Guess that makes sense with the way this one talks...” She agreed with indifference.

“Huh?!” She exclaimed in disbelief. “You’re just going to accept what I said?! Just like that?!”

The goblin shrugged.

“Why not. This one does not particularly care that you were not always a goblin. As long as you do not hate us for being goblins, then this one is fine with it... but also, this one is a goblin now, yes? So what difference does it make what this one was before?” She said in conclusion.

Crystaria stood there stunned. She could not actually believe that the hothead and argumentative goblin she had just met a second ago could just so easily accept the truth that she was not originally a goblin.

But then again... She is supposedly Athena’s grandmother. Crystaria thought to herself.

“Huh? I guess that incredible intelligence runs in the family.” She mused out loud.

“...” The older female stared at her blankly for a second before she threw her head back in laughter. “This one likes this one! She is blunt with her words!”

Crystaria just looked at her in confusion then shrugged before she turned back to Gabo and the rest.

“Gabo, there is something we need to do now that I am chieftain, don’t you think?” She said to him.

He looked at her, nodding his head in agreement.

“Yes, Gabo supposes the Demon Lord is right. How does the Demon Lord wish to handle this?” He asked.

“I would like you to gather all the elders to that large building over there.” She pointed to the double wide hut that was over by the path of the town.

Seshat let out a gasp.

“We cannot use that building!” She exclaimed in an almost in a scandalized manner. Crystaria looked at her.

“Why not?”

“Because that is the chieftain’s hut! That is a place that only the chieftain and their family may reside!”

“...” Crystaria looked at her like she had just said the silliest thing in the world to her; And really, to her, she just had.

“But I am the chieftain. I make the rules correct?” She asked her cheekily. Seshat started in surprise at her question.

“Well yes, of course. But-“ She started to agree, but tried then contradict. So Crystaria cut her off.

“Then I say we can use that building as a place to gather.” She proclaimed her intentions.

This caused the older female goblin to laugh aloud once again.

“This one is great! This one looks forward to what she has to say!”

Crystaria decided that she had enough of her using that way of her referring to herself.

“This one.” She said towards the female goblin.

“Hmm?”

“From now on, your name will be: Artemis.” She decided to give her a Greek god name for her, since she gave Athena a Greek goddess name, and that this was her grandmother.

The older female goblin; now know as Artemis was jaw dropped at what she was just told.

“This- but- you!-“ She was stunned to a complete flabbergasted state.

Her mate laughed then walked up to her, giving her a chasten kiss on the cheek.

“Be calm Artemis, this is the way the new chieftain’s does things: to give and make others equal.”

Her words surprised Crystaria. While true, she was surprised that Seshat had guessed as much. But then again, maybe it wasn’t so surprising as she had thought.

Seshat turned towards Crystaria to ask.

“What does Artemis mean, O’ great one?”

“It is a name of a mythological goddess from my world: she was suppose to be a goddess of hunting and protection. She also raised a group of all female warriors that were called the Amazons.” She explained.

Seshat’s eyes widened.

“Fitting as always O’ great one. How did this-...” She inexplicably paused for a moment but then continued. “I-I mean... How d-did you... figure out... that my mate was a hunter?...” Everyone in the group stared at Seshat, at how she had just corrected herself to match more closely towards the way Crystaria had been speaking.

Most just stared at her with wide eyes, which caused her cheeks to darken. But for Crystaria herself, she was nothing but smiles and proud of the older goblin's step forward.

“Good question; also good job on correcting yourself.” She praised her. This caused Seshat to turn towards her mate, burying her head in her shoulder while using a hand to cover her face because her shyness.

“To answer that,” she pointed towards Artemis’s waist. “She wears a knife at her waist, this kind of blade is used for skinning and carving the flesh off of her kills.” She then points towards her upper body and continues speaking. “She also has defined upper body muscles that show she lifts up, carrying heavy loads from her shoulders, her legs are also well defined from all the running she must do to chase her prey.” She paused for dramatic effect. “There is the fact that all her clothes that she is wearing, are just rough patches of leather and furs sown together, that and, there are leaves and twigs stuck in her hair that suggests that she had just been running through the forest.” As she finished her deductions. All the goblins present stared at her with wide eyes and brows raised.

“...” Now it was Crystaria’s turn to feel embarrassed at all the attention.

Once again, Artemis threw her head back laughing.

“See! This one is not to be trifled with! She would be a formidable opponent! Not just because she is supposedly strong!”

“Amazing O’ great one!” Athena comments.

“As expected of the Demon Lord.” Seshat states.

“Demon Lord has smarts of twenty goblins.” Gabo praises.

Crystaria puts her face in her hands.

“Please stop! No more!...” She says embarrassed by their praise.

They all have a quick laugh at her expense in fellowship.

“*GRR*” Crystaria growled in mock frustration. “I am going to get you guys back for this some day.” She then points at Gabo. “And don’t think you’re off the hook for throwing me under-, I mean, Throwing me to the wolfs like that.”

“What does the Demon Lord mean?!” Gabo acts as innocent as possible. “Gabo has not thrown this one anywhere!” He says in mock outrage at her accusations.

“You know what I mean: tricking me into accepting my beautiful new name; thank you by the way. So that I have to name all the other goblins in the clan.”

He gives her a cheeky smile, then admires the nails on his hand like he is inspecting his handy work.

“Well... if the Demon Lord did not notice Gabo’s trick until it was to late. Then it is on the Demon Lord, is it not?”

She points her finger at him more sharply as her body goes more ridged, contrasting her seriousness of her point.

“I mean it! I am going to get you back for this! Mark my words!” She says playfully.

Athena and Artemis can’t help but laugh at their antics.

Then Crystaria relaxes and brings her hand back to her side and says.

“But on to what I was trying to say before: yes, please gather the elders, and the leaders of the households of the family’s here right now, to the chieftain’s hut.” She looks to Seshat, will you please go and get any sort if writing utensil or thing to mark on parchment. And if you have any sort of thing that blank parchment or papyrus, then bring those too.”

“Demon Lord?...” Seshat starts to question, but decides to back down and shake her head.

“No. What is it? There is no such thing as a stupid question... as long as it is a genuine question.” She added to the end because while that was not how the original saying went. She decided that there was actually stupid questions, and never liked how the saying was worded. So she added a caveat to it.

Seshat hesitated for a minute before saying.

“I... I only have so much... parchment or papyrus to write on... most of them are not blank...”

“Are there any books with pages that are blank, or have pages in them that are blank?” She asked her.

She nodded her head in answer then said.

“Yes, a few of those.”

“Then if you do not mind bringing them to the chieftains hut. We will need them.”

Seshat gave her a pensive look. But sighed and nodded her head.

“As you wish Demon Lord...” She said reluctantly.

Crystaria could not help but giggle at her reluctance.

“Do not worry Seshat. Soon, I will be teaching you how to make paper.”

“Paper?” Seshat asked in excitement. “What is that?”

“That is the better and next step in past papyrus and parchment.” She stated.

Seshat gasped.

“Is that true?!” She then shakes her head. “What is- I. What am. I. Saying, of course you know! I-I do not know why I even bother questioning y-you. You apparently know everything!” She gives a giggle at her own incredulousness.

She then ducks and bows her head.

“This- I will go and retrieve the parchment, O’ great one!” She states with more enthusiasm this time before scurrying off to do her task.

Gabo and Artemis watched with stunned expressions as their mate scampered to where she kept her treasures of parchment and papyrus.

“G-Gabo has not seen Seshat ever act so...” He started, but could not find the words to finish his thoughts.

“Youthful.” Artemis supplied.

“Yes, youthful.” He agreed.

“Hmm...” Artemis turned to look at the Demon Lord. “What is this thing this one has promised my mate?”

Crystaria looks at her and explains.

“Paper is a lighter and more easily produced and you can make it in larger quantities than papyrus or parchment. Also, papyrus crumbs and deteriorates faster than paper. Also, paper has many more uses than either of the other two, which you use mainly just to write on. I  could go on a long lecture, that would keep us here all day if I were to list the many different uses of paper.”

“Then... please don’t. This one... Artemis does not wish to be bogged down with these things... Artemis will leave these things to her mate and... Athena.” She said after a pause as she tried to remember what her granddaughter’s new name.

Crystaria looked up at her and said.

“But why? You are clearly just as intelligent as Seshat and Athena.”

Artemis stiffened when she heard this.

“Th-this one is not as smart-“ She tried to refute. But the Demon Lord was already shaking her head in disagreement.

“No, I can see it. You hide it well, but you are clearly smart. I won’t pry, but you have been keeping up with our conversations and I have not had to repeat myself, nor slow down with what I am saying. And despite everything, you catch on to what everyone around you has been saying for the better part of the last ten or twenty minutes.”

As Crystaria finishes her observation. The other three look at her in confusion.

“What?” She asks.

“What are minutes?” Artemis asks.

“...” In all her constant thoughts and plans that she has thought up until now. She didn’t think she would have to explain what time was.

“It-... It is a unit of measure for time.” She explains hesitantly.

Again all three sets of eyes widen at her words.

Is this going to be a regular occurrence? She questioned to herself.

“Y-You...” Gabo starts, but then just stops to just shake his head in wonder. “Seshat is right. You know everything.”

“I-“ Crystaria went to refute him. But decided against it. If they choose to believe that she knew everything, then she would let them. They were only going to be disappointed later when she showed them personally that she did not; and that she wad just knowledgeable.

Wisdom takes time and age. That is why youth is wasted on the young. She thought morosely. They are very much like young children absorbing the knowledge I give them. They will learn on their own that I am not a person without faults; much like a child learns a parent is just a person who was a child that has grow up like they have.

She shakes away her introspective thoughts.

“Moving on. Gabo. Will you please go and gather the elders?” She asks for the third time. Hoping that this time they stop getting side tracked.

He nodded his head.

“Gabo will go right away.” He then turns and hurries off to complete his task. Crystaria lets out a sigh of relief. Finally! She thought to herself.

Athena and Artemis laugh at her sigh.

“Troubled Demon Lord?” Athena asks in a coy manner, which she denotes by the smirk across her lips. Lips that I would like-

She shakes her head of her impure thoughts.

“Not really.” She answers. “But I would like you to answer me a question Artemis.”

“Hmm? What question might this one- What question might Artemis answer?” She asks her, not entirely used to herself having a name.

“Can you quickly explain how your mating system works with goblins?”

Artemis looks at Crystaria incredulously.

“Surely the Demon Lord is not that ignorant on this subject is she?” She shakes her head. “If Artemis must, Artemis will: when two or more goblins love each other very much they-“

“No! Not that! That is enough of that!” Crystaria hurries to quiet the tale of the goblins and the bees. Artemis gives a full belly laugh, while Athena gives a more subdued chuckle.

“*SIGH* "I guess it will always be to much to ask to get just straight answers huh?" She asks with smirk on lips. "So what I meant was: why are you their first mate, and why they're your second mate, and why are they second mates to each other?" She elaborates on what she meant.

"Ah! So you do not know the order of mating? Very well, Artemis will explain it to the small Demon Lord." Artemis told her in a teasing manner and a crooked grin. Crystaria did her best to resist frowning at her comment. Even though she knew it was in jest, she didn’t want it to show on her face and give Artemis the satisfaction of seeing that she had affected her.

“Artemis is Gabo’s first mate or just her mate at the time. It was later that Artemis met Seshat, usually if two goblins do not love each enough to be mates, they usually just couple for a time. But Artemis fell for Seshat. So Artemis brought Seshat to Gabo, they met. Learned of each other. And they too fell for one another.” She explained.

“I see...” Said Crystaria as she took a thinking pose with her head tilted and resting in her hand, with her elbow resting in her other hand. Then Artemis continued.

“Normally when two or more goblins love each other. They decided who will be head of their family. And since Gabo and Artemis were originally the first together, we talked about which of us would be head. What it came down to, was that Gabo was fine being second mate, while Artemis became first mate; so now Artemis has two second mates. This was also how we had this- Artemis meant, that is how we had Athena’s mother.

“Oh!” Crystaria exclaimed and turned to look at Athena, was looking at her with a smile on her lips. She had a look that she couldn’t quite interpret. She turned back towards Artemis. Who was shaking her head.

“We not talking about this- Athena’s life. We are talking about my mates; that is story for another time.”

Crystaria relented and nodded her head.

“Okay, So what happens if one of you take another mate then? Do they just become another second mate?” Crystaria asked. Artemis shook her head.

“No and yes. If Artemis would take another mate, they would be a second. But if Gabo or Seshat take another mate, they will be their third.”

Crystaria’s eyes widened in realization.

“Oh! I see! I get it. So if you were to say take and make a mate out of their third mate, they would then become a second mate then!” She said in understanding.

“Yes! Exactly! You get it now, the Demon Lord is truly smart.” Artemis praised.

“So it is a lot like a ladder tier system...” Crystaria said in as she pondered what she had just learned.

“Ladder... tier, system?...” Artemis asked haltingly.

Crystaria looked up and saw the confusion on her face.

“Yes, a ladder tier system. Or I should say it is something very similar to something like that in my previous world.”

“But what are those things?”

“...” Crystaria realized that even though both Athena and Artemis were extremely smart. If they didn’t know what she was talking about, then they would not be able to understand. So she explained to them. “First thing is first: do you know what a ladder is?”

At the shake of their heads she almost felt like letting out a sigh. She looked around for something To use as a visual, but came up empty because they were just in the middle of the village with other goblins milling about, some watching their interactions. So Crystaria bent down and scrapped at the hard rock surface of the ground she was standing up. She scratched it with her long and slightly sharp, dark green; almost resembling black: nails.

Her nails dug into the stone ground easily enough, so she proceeded to draw a ladder, then next to it, a ladder tier system.

Once she stood up and dusted herself off and looked up. She noticed that she had done something that the others had once again perceived as incredible. Artemis and Athena both had wide eyes as they stared at her and her drawings.

This time she did let out a sigh.

“This is going to get old...” She muttered to herself. “I did it again didn’t I?” Asked as she shifted her stance to a more relax posture.

Athena nodded and pointed towards her drawings.

“Yes... Demon Lord just casually just used her nails to cut stone. We are just amazed is all.” She had recovered quite quickly, having started to get used to seeing the abnormal feats that the Demon Lord preformed.

Crystaria scratched at her cheek self-consciously.

“It is not that bad is it?”

They both nodded their heads. But this time Artemis was the one who spoke up.

“Demon Lord must not realize that only a few creatures in the world that could casually leave scratches into stone; but you just drew into it with our weak nails as if it was the mud!” She exclaimed in amazement.

Crystaria could feel her face heating up, so she just nodded; fearing if she spoke, her voice would break. She then drew their attention back towards her drawings. Instead of her.

“Umm... this was only suppose to be a casual demonstration... on what ladders and a tier system are...” She said quietly, trailing her sentences.

She pointed first at her drawing of a ladder and in leaning against a crudely draw hut.

“This is a ladder, it is a tool made if either wood or metal. And it helps people reach heights that they weren’t able to before.” She explained first. “Each step of the ladder is called a rung... So at the bottom of the latter is the first step, and at the top her is the last. But ladders are not a fixed structure or tool and can be moved with ease, so even if you flipped it upside down. You could use it like normal. But if you did, then the first rung in the ladder would turn into the last, and vice-versa.” She looked up at them to see if they were following. Both wearing pensive and thoughtful look on their faces.

Artemis asked.

“How is this the same to me and my mates? And why is that one shaped different?” She ended by pointing at the tier system.

“Good questions. But to answer what this is, I had to explain what a ladder was first. Now this thing here, is called: a ladder tier system. As you can see, these rec- I mean, long boxes,” She caught herself from calling them rectangles, and then having to explain what those were. “are similar to the empty spaces of a ladder where you step and climb up to reach the top.” She then reached down and wrote out Artemis’s name into the top box. Then above the whole thing, she wrote the word mate.

“What are those?” Artemis asked when Crystaria was finished writing. She looked up to her and said.

“That is the word mate, and that is your name.”

Artemis eyes widened at her words.

“My name...” She breath the words in awe. She got down to her knees and looked at it closely. She ran her fingers over it in reverence. “Beautiful...”

Her captured and enthralled gaze on her face was the thing that Crystaria thought was actually the mist stunning thing.

She had never in her life had someone look at their own name seen them so engrossed and captivated by it; like it was the most beautiful thing they had seen: She stared at it like she was committing it to memory.

And maybe she is. Crystaria thought. She let her sit there and stare at it for a bit before she continued. She reached down and started writing two more names in the box underneath the box with Artemis’s name.

“And these are Gabo and Seshat’s names.” She brushed and blew away the dust to reveal what she had wrote.

Artemis went around to stare down at the names right-side-up and continued to trace the names and word with her fingers.

It warmed Crystaria’s heart to see her like this: eager to learn. Absorbing information of what was precious to her, that other might have taken for granted.

She then noticed wet spots hit the stone near the words and a few more hit Artemis’s fingers. She looked up and saw that Artemis was crying, not in sobs or sadness, but a mysterious mixture of; joy, longing, pain, regret, and hope. In a word: beautiful.

Artemis turned to Crystaria with large pools of unshed tears in her eyes.

“Demon Lord?...” She called after her with a question at her lips. Crystaria waited for her to continue. “Wi-Will yo-you teach this one; teach A-Artemis how to spell h-her name? Her mates’ names?”

Crystaria smiled at her.

“I plan too. I plan to teach you all everything I know. That is why Gabo is why gathering the elders. Why I needed parchment and papyrus: I am going to show you all how to write your A, B, C’s.”

She then stands and hold out her hand. Artemis takes it as she is awkwardly pulled up to her feet by someone smaller. But it was more of a symbol that Crystaria was trying to show.

She then points back at the words and the tier ladder.

“See this. This would be where the first mate is, the second, then the third and so on.” She explained. “This doesn’t just apply to mates or things. But to anything that might move up or down the ladder of the system. Like how there is a Demon Lord, then chieftains, then elders, and so on... understand?”

Artemis sniffles as she composes herself back to normal.

“Yes. Artemis understands. Thank you O’ great one for show me and teaching me your knowledge.”

She smiled at her.

“It was my pleasure.” She turned then gestured forward. “Come on. Let’s go wait for them all at the chieftains hut. I am going to have a lot to explain to people and then I will start with my first lessons on learning to write and read.” She announced to Artemis and Athena.

“Yes! Let us go! I can’t wait to show Seshat what you have showed me! I want to learn how to spell and write her name! Her and Gabo!” She then sprinted past her towards the hut.

Crystaria watched her run and then looked at Athena who was also stunned, but quickly recovered and gave a giggle at the absurdity of her grandmother’s enthusiasm. She looked at Crystaria and said.

“Thank you so much Demon Lord... for everything. You have done so much already for this village. This one- Athena. Can’t thank you enough. Thank you for giving my grandma and grandmother a name.”

Crystaria gave her a lopsided grin and looked away to hide her embarrassment, as she turned to face the hut and muttered just loud enough for Athena to hear.

“It was my pleasure... anything for you...”

Athena couldn’t help but give another giggle.

Announcement
Howdy everyone! Thanks for reading! Hope everyone is doing well! I am going to be answering some if those questions I put in the pole:

For the girls love question and how many chapters are there, I can answer both in one; I don’t know. Every time I start writing a chapter, I have to keep changing the titles of the chapters and push the titles I had originally for the chapter forwards to another chapter later.

The chapters; 4, 7, and 10 have should have been previous numbers and earlier. But things in this story keep happening that even I didn’t predict. So I keep having to push things back until we get to it naturally.

But enough explaining it, the answer is that: I am not sure. The girls love won’t be happening for at least another (predicting here) 10 or 15 chapters. Stuff needs to happen first... and as far as how many... I give up. I had a guess at 50 or so. But we’ll see, and we’ll get there, when we get there.

As for the peanuts... ( >_>! ) I-I lied! There are no peanuts! Not yet at least! Not until the stores restock them! Right now we are still waiting on toilet paper and eggs! You think we have peanuts?!

Lol JK! Ty all who voted in that category!

And for the last thing; will the action get better? YES! We will be seeing some hopefully cool things in the near future and a cool battle in like 2 to 3 chapters... maybe... >_>

So I am going to sign-off with a request! Leave a question or two down in the comments and I will put them in a pole to get voted on by importance. Okay! Love you all! Thanks again for ready! Stay safe and stay home! Wash your hands! And don’t lick door handles... I’ve seen people do it... trust me... people are gross...
