'Ugh,' I grumbled, feeling a horribly bright light shine in my face. Opening my eyes, I saw this huge rock a couple of feet away from me. Trying to walk towards it, I felt this uneasy feeling settle upon me.

"Mortal, I am known as God in your language. It seems you have died a very sad death, so I felt the need to reincarnate you into this world. Now, you probably have a lot of questions, yet I have no time to answer those questions. You'll find your answer when you think/say status. Good luck and may the Lasair burn bright in your path." 

'I never knew God would have an Irish accent...' Rather confused, yet not really worried, I tried calling out status.

"Hiiiisssssssssss," I squeaked, rather surprised that I couldn't speak. 

'Well then, that didn't seem to work,' I mentally tell myself. 'Might as well try saying status-"

Um...wow...that kinda answers some of my questions. Though, I am kinda wondering how I'll be able to defend myself from stray bird poop. 

*Sigh,* What an embarrassing way to die. It turns out I'm a lizard as well. Meh, a weak one. 'God, why couldn't you have at least made me a strong lizard?'

"Simply because you are too weak to become a strong lizard," States the Irish accent God dude. 

'...'

That's fair I guess...now time to look at my surroundings. 

So my status says that I'm a lizard, so I should be fairly small. Which also means I'll have four legs instead of two. 

'Alright, I can do this,' I mentally say, trying to convince myself that walking with four legs isn't that hard. 

Slowly taking a couple steps forward, I kinda realize that it isn't really that hard. Moving a bit faster, I start wondering about my status sheet. I've played video games before, so I understand most of the meanings, like stats.

That was basically it though. I have absolutely no idea what Tier's are, though I could assume they're similar to levels... 

'Status, whats the highest Tier you can get?'

'Currently, the highest Tier in Miotas is the tenth Tier.'

Well, that doesn't sound so bad. Though it says the only way to get a higher Tier is through eating meat. I assume that I get more meat from stronger monsters. 

Another thing that seemed to catch my attention was the Mutation Points. 

'Status what are Mutation Points, and what can I do with them?'

'Mutation Points are points used to buy Mutations. It seems you have 3 Mutations available. Would you like me you show you them?'

'Yes please.'

Mutations Available - (Common) Sharpened Claws (3 Mutation Points), (Uncommon) Poisonous Teeth (5 Mutation Points), (Uncommon) Night Vision Eyes (5 Mutation Points)

Wow, that's pretty cool. If I want to grow stronger, I'll have to get Mutations that'll help me. Since I'll probable use my claws the most, I'll get Sharpened Claws. I'll also get Night Vision Eyes because that just seems like something that will be useful in the future.

'Status, I would like to get Sharpened Claws and Night Vision Eyes.'

'Proceeding with Sharpened Claws and Night Vision Eyes. This will take 2 hours to perform, please find a secure and safe place to rest for you will pass out from severe pain. Count Down Starting 10...9...'

Oh crap, what did I just do. Frantically looking for a safe spot, I saw a bush and dived right into it. Preparing myself for the pain, I took a few deep breaths. 

'This won't be so bad...' I say to myself, mentally hoping the pain won't be as bad as I think it'll be. 

'I can do thi-'

"SCREEECH, HISSSSSS" Screaming from the horrible pain, I pass out.
