Jack's vision distorts and twists as he is travelling through the teleportation channel before he is thrown out at the village heart crashing onto the floor, the room is silent but Jack can clearly feel his heart beating from the intense situation he was just in.

The entire process took under a minute but within that time, he had killed someone and rushed to the teleportation crystal while it was being locked down by some weird force that clearly has more power than he expected, the ‘Yellow Snake Chapel’ are larger than he thought.

Taking a few steps to clear his head and forget about it, he can feel movement on his arm the little snake is getting agitated as its head sticks out of the collar again, looking at him somewhat angrily.

"Fine, you can have your special item" Jack softly says while stroking the snake.

The small sack of coloured stones and gems appears within his hands, the snake quickly slides down his arm and dives into the sack of items before coming out with a small red orb in its mouth.

Jack frowns at the distorted information appearing at the end of the line, shaking his head he looks at it again but the information doesn't change but before he can take the little orb the snake swallows it.

The snakes body starts to glow as a dragon might fills the air, countless residents can feel this change as they look towards the city heart building.

*ROOOAR*

A dragon roar is heard from the city heart building as the small snake is covered in a glowing white energy shell that grows larger and larger, the glowing energy shell breaks revealing a transparent white dragon that's the size of a person, much smaller than the one that appeared high in the sky upon creation of Dragon - Phoenix village.

The dragon looks at Jack for a moment, blinking its eyes and looking around before disappearing revealing the form of the snake, it looks no different to before as it slides across the ground and up Jack's leg.

"Tired"

Jack can suddenly hear an unfamiliar weak voice within his mind, it's different to all the other voices he has heard in his mind as it sounds much younger.

"Who said that?"

There is no reply to Jack causing him to feel like he's going insane, so many voices in his head but none reply to him. The little snake has now climbed under Jack's robe and returned to its usual spot.

"Warm, sleep"

The voice sounds in his mind again but this time, he feels it's related to the little snake he reaches down to touch the snake but finds that it has disappeared. Removing part of his robe, he's able to see that the snake has disappeared and replaced with a tattoo of a white eastern dragon twisting around his arm.

Giving the tattoo a rub, he isn't able to feel anything different, it’s not sore like a tattoo should be and taking a last look around the room he picks up the small sack of items and places it back within his storage ring.

Jessica and Tyson come rushing into the city heart building.

"Jack!", "Lord!"

"I'm fine" Jack raises arms to indicate that there's nothing wrong with him.

Jessica looks relieved, she has experienced many abnormal signs since Jack showed up and can't help but worry when something suddenly happens. She felt a faint induction that Jack had returned when suddenly a dragon roar could be heard all throughout the village, Jessica steps forward and starts touching his new tattoo.

“When did you get this?” she quietly asks.

“I’ll tell you later” Jack answers while looking at the agitated Tyson.

Tyson is looking around the room suspicious, he is new to the village and doesn't know about the abnormal signs when it was created nor what happens when Jack uses the city lord weapon.

"What happened lord?" Tyson asks, continuing to look around the room.

"I acquired a strange blood crystal from the city which the guardian beast, which you probably haven't seen yet, consumed and you saw what happened. I can't really explain it either but that sort of stuff isn't uncommon around here"

"I see, well I'll have to settle down the troops as we thought there was suddenly a dragon attack... What's that?" Tyson interrupts his speech pointing towards the Phoenix statue by the city heart orb.

Jack scratches his neck, he feels awkward to say that he doesn't know what that is either.

"It's a statue from the ancient Phoenix Empire" Jessica speaks up while touching Jacks arm, tracing the delicate lines of the tattoo that's now part of his skin.

"Why would it appear here?" Tyson asks.

"There's a legend in this area that the ancient phoenix empire was buried in this location, this little baby appeared from the statue on the day the village was created" Jessica takes the little chick out from her bosom, it's still sleeping within a little bag but it is a tad bigger than last time.

The little chick groggily looks around the room before adjusting position, closing its eyes and sleeping on Jessica's hand.

"Honestly, I wish I knew this sort of stuff too Tyson" Jack honestly replies while pulling his robe up to cover his body, "How are you finding everything?"

"The village needs a lot of work but the kobolds are hard workers, Drakon is out helping the advance squads so I've been left with handling the defensive positions but it's hard to prepare out in the open plains area"

"Do you need anything to help you get it done properly?"

"Time and people, oh and lots and lots of stone. Hilda said you were going to find dragon jade so that will solve some of the issues"

"Time and people are two things that we can't really do much about" Jack feels awkward talking about dragon jade and walks out the door, many soldiers are gathered outside looking rather nervous while holding weapons.

Tyson catches up from behind, "Stand down everyone, consider this a drill good response time, let’s go back to our posts" the soldiers relax their weapons and give a salute to Jack.

"Lord!" the soldiers announce before kneeling to show their apologies for point a weapon at their lord, Jack just waves at them and walks towards the city hall, Jessica is walking by his side.

"Did you get me anything?" Jessica asks cutely, Jack is instantly put on the spot as he didn't think about getting her anything.

"Umm no" Jack bluntly replies before looking through the storage ring, it's filled with a lot of things and most of it he hasn't gone through in great details.

Jessica looks disappointed for a moment, "You better get me something next time then" she pouts but a white flower into appears in Jack’s hand.

"Here, you can have first pick of these" Jack brushes her hair back and places the white flower on her ear, he didn't have time to look at what the flower is or what its effects are but it surely can’t be a negative.

Jessica touches the flower whilst the scent of a sacred flower fills the air, causing the surrounding area to feel slightly uplifted, she's stunned on the spot looking at Jack before breaking into a smile that lights up the whole area.

Jack can feel his breath taken from him as he looks at her, "Not really first pick if it's you picking it for me" she sticks her tongue out but grabs Jacks hand entwining their fingers.

"Let's go drop off everything and do something together, you’ve had a busy couple of days" Jessica starts pulling Jack.

Jack has a lot of things to do around the village but it could be held off until later, he truly isn't needed for most of it so he nods his head to indicate agreement with her words.

"Alright let's go give these items to Hilda to handle, there's an incident I need to relay but nothing can be done about it right now" Jack walks with Jessica down the busy street, there are numerous horses going up and down the street as the soldiers start to haul goods through the main road.

The village layout is working nicely but it'll be a test in the coming weeks depending on how bad the demonic infestation stuff gets, but the village finally has a liveliness to it that it didn’t have previous, everyone has a job they need to be doing for the greater good.

Jack walks into the city hall building, Hilda is standing before several books and a map hard at work with her civil minister duties such as allocating resources, allocating where people need to be and planning for the future.

Her attention is drawn to Jack when he walks into the building, “Lord!” she greets Jack.

Jack is starting to get used to people addressing him like this, "We have a lot of items within this storage ring, I'll take out what I require but you're going to need to sort it all out" Jack informs Hilda while passing her the ring.

Hilda silently looks into the storage ring for a moment before her jaw slackens, "Lord, good job but I don't see any dragon jade"

Jack shakes his head, "It's much easier to find all the weapons we need than that stuff".

"I shall fetch for Maurice to help me process these items, is there anything else lord?"

"I would like someone to process the dead body within the storage ring, find out any information about that person" Jack recalls the man and his dagger, "we'll need to set up a force to counter them" a serious expression creeps onto his face.

"Yes Lord, what is the organisation called?" Hilda asks in a serious tone.

"Yellow Snake Chapel"

"Ok Lord, I will inform Bane and Tahel, will you be needing this done right away?"

Jack thinks for a moment, he doesn't want to go back to that city so soon and he still needs to try out the other two.

"Let's trust their decision, just inform me if there isn't a consensus as I trust you all"

Hilda smiles at this bout of responsibility, "What will you be doing my lord?"

"I'll be around the village doing some stuff, if you need me just send someone to fetch me" Jack leaves the city hall building, he links his hands with Jessica who was waiting outside.

"Done?" Jessica wraps her fingers around Jacks.

"Yep, what did you want to do?" Jack answers as the two are walking hand in hand down the street, many people avert their eyes upon seeing them, afraid to look at their Lord and his madam like this.

Jessica smiles at this reaction from everyone, it's a feeling that satisfies her vanity and its new to her, "Let's go back to the tent, I think we should have a relaxing day after last night"

"Ok but I need a bath first, I've…. had a busy day" Jack almost admitted to having to kill someone but holds back as it’d ruin the mood.

"Oh, why don't you tell me what happened?"

Jack slowly retells the story as the two head back to the tent, Mai is outside sleeping within the garden she looks very cute snoring and comfortable, they leave her alone taking a deep breath of the spring-like air as they walk through the tent door, feeling invigorated.

The tent is darker than previously but it hasn’t lost the ethereal qualities to it, the huge bed big enough to fit 6 or 7 people, the dining table filled with papers that are neatly stacked, the wooden wardrobes filled with robes that Jack doesn’t like.

Flowers fill the room while some crystals change the ambient lighting of the room so it’s not entirely dark, it gives the tent a very pleasant feeling.

"Ok I'll take a bath, uhh I’ll keep telling the story"

Jack walks to the bathing area, it's just a big flat bathtub separated by a sheet, two huge reservoirs contain water, Jack fills up the tub with cold water while he disrobes, the bathtub fills up quickly after which he puts his hand into the water and circulates his fire qi to heat up the water, he was curious if this would work and it did the water quickly becomes heated.

Jack jumps into the water and starts to wash himself up when Jessica walks through the curtain and sits by the bathtub, her eyes keep stealthily peering into the water. Jack is surprised that she came in, but he doesn't care.

"So uhh, the market stalls are really busy...." Jack continues to tell the story from before the dice game. Jessica's reaction is filled with excitement, laughter then into annoyance.

The largest town she has been to was Feather town and that’s nothing compared to a system city, so she’s listening with keen interest to the story that Jack is retelling.

"How can they call that cheating?" Jessica gets angry standing up but her eyes don't fail to look over Jacks body from her new angle causing him to laugh.

Jack continues to tell the story and gets to the Holy Heavens Church, Jessica is angry but White Flower Church, she has a whimsical look.

"Many girls want to join White Flower Church when they're young, it's one of the few places that truly value women" Jessica starts to play with the water, sneakily trying to see something under the water.

Jack smiles as he shifts his position causing Jessica to brightly blush.

"They are certainly beautiful there, but my blushing beauty here is much better than them, that grand madam Lisa looked ok but she had an ulterior motive, I know the cute girl before me isn't like that"

Jessica stops playing with the water and looks away but her face has a wide smile on it.

"What are you looking away for, I thought you saw something you were interested in" Jack reaches out of the bathtub grabbing Jessica, she screams while being dragged into the water but it's replaced with the sound of both their laughter as Jessica lays on top of Jack on the bathtub, they’re facing each other.

The two look at each other in the eyes for several moments, their breaths getting heavy as their faces creep closer together.

Jack leans in for the kiss, this kiss lasts for a moment before Jessica shifts her body and leans in for another kiss, a long kiss as she closes her eyes. Jack's tongue slowly creeps into her mouth as it explores slowly, Jessica tenderly responds unsure what to do.

Jack's hand moves from her back and creeps into Jessica's robe, slowly lowering it as the kiss continues, Jessica's upper body is exposed her not large but not small perk breasts appear as Jack breaks the kiss leaving Jessica in a daze as he switches their position and pushes Jessica into the bath, the water is now mostly gone from the bath but they don't care, as Jessica's upper body is hanging over the water line.

Jack returns the kiss as his heads start to knead one of her breasts, his kisses start to get lower as he kisses her neck, getting lower and lower until his mouth is over her breast just teasing it slightly, Jessica's hands are struggling to stay still unsure what to do with them.

Jack's body is groaning at him to continue, Jessica looks ready but his mind is still rational and knows that she can't, he would never forgive himself if he were to ruin this for her.

He has probably taken it too far but the feelings they have for each other are genuine, Jack stops teasing her breast and brings his mouth up to hers again and returns to slow passionate kissing as the two lay in the bathwater that's slowly becoming cold, the naked young man and the mostly naked young woman with their mouths interlinked subconsciously circulating their qi between each other.

The little chick and Mai are peering from behind the curtain, they have watched everything going on so far after hearing the initial scream.

"Do you think that's mating?" the red-faced Mai quietly whispers to the little chick; the little chick just tilts its head.

These two are watching for a several minutes but get bored from the non-action, Jack pulls away after he notices the curtains moving and looks at Jessica.

Her face is flushed and her breathing is quick but her eyes are shut as she's absorbed in the feelings washing over her, she entirely trusts Jack during this process her eyes partly open and look deeply into Jacks as though asking for more.

Jack really wants to continue but he can’t causing him to be frustrated, he stands up causing Jessica to get an eye full of his body in all its glory.

Her eyes look away for a moment before they take it all in, "Are you able to do anything with this?" Jack asks with a smirk.

"Like what?"

Jack reaches down to pick up her hand, "This"

The two remain in the bathtub for some time, noises can be heard after which Jack emerges from the curtain to the bathroom with a relaxed expression on before collapsing onto the bed and falling asleep, Jessica emerges from the curtain not too long after in different clothes with her hair tied up and her face is flushed.

"Naughty boy" she mutters under her breath while looking at Jack sleeping on the bed but a smile is clearly displayed on her face as she clenches her fist a few times.

"Did you two mate?" Mai appears behind Jessica from nowhere.

Jessica is stunned for a moment, "Why?" she's afraid that Mai saw what she and Jack did.

"I saw you two kissing in the bathtub, do humans mate by kissing in the bathtub?"

"No we didn't...." Jessica trails off while her face blushes remembering everything.

"Really?" Mai has a suspicious look on her face.

"Yes, now go outside because Jack needs to sleep"

"Tell me what you were doing then"

Jessica feels a headache developing from dealing with the little girl, she wants to lay on the bed with Jack and have a rest because she's tired too.

"Come, let's go outside and tell me the plants you have been planting" Jessica exits the tent, the sun reveals that it's dusk and will shortly be night time.

"You tell me what you were doing and I'll tell you about some of the pretty plants" Mai follows Jessica turning the tent silent, but the noises of the village life can still be heard.

Jack's sleep is anything but peaceful, he has a pleased expression on his face but his dreams contain something that he didn't expect, a progress bar that has reached 24% while he’s stuck in that black nothingness unable to move.
