I apologize for not uploading a chapter for almost a whole week, but I've been busy. Also, I want to make a correction regarding the end of the last chapter when Lycara opens her status in the part of general skills; there should be a skill called {Wolf Claws}, but I forgot to include it.

I checked my status and several things caught my attention. Firstly, the increase in statistics and the free points, especially the free points because the introduction didn't mention anything about them, although they're easy to understand; I just have to allocate them to the statistic I want.

Next was the general skill of {Wolf Claws}.

"I guess it's because of the claws I have from biomancy" I said aloud as I looked at my hands.

{

}

It doesn't say much, but I suppose it's because it's a low-level element.

"I guess I'll look at the other skills and then go to sleep."

...

I couldn't sleep. I was too nervous to sleep, barely noticing the sunrise. I got ready to leave, not needing to prepare anything thanks to the inventory. I left the cabin and resumed my journey southward. As the witch said, the nearest village was several hours away. Three hours had passed, and I was still walking alone without any incidents.

'I'm bored,' I said to myself as I looked around, only seeing trees, bushes, and more trees.

"No, wait, maybe it's better not to find--"

*Shmmmm*

I fell silent when I heard the sound of bushes rustling and pulled out my knife.

'Let it be a squirrel, let it be a squirrel,' I said quietly, hoping it wasn't a wolf or an old lady wanting me for a ritual. To my relief, it was neither of the two, but it wasn't a squirrel either.

"Hehehe."

What emerged was a green creature, short, bald, with long nose and ears, bulging eyes, wearing only a loincloth and a lascivious grin on its face. I didn't need to use analysis to know what it was.

"I know this is a fantasy world, but seriously, a damn goblin!?" I couldn't help but curse at the sight of the creature. From what I remember from my previous life, goblins have various depictions, and it seems like the one in this world is the one I least wanted to encounter, judging by that horrible expression on its face.

I got into a combat stance with a knife whose name I couldn't remember. I leaned forward and raised my hands up to my chest with the knife pointing forward. It's not that I liked the idea of fighting, but if half of what I remember about goblins applies to this world, I'd rather die than be captured.

The goblin seemed to take me seriously when it saw me getting into a fighting position. He was armed only with a wooden club.

"Aha!" With a shout, he lunged towards me, raising the club. I jumped to my right, but stumbled a bit and took a while to recover. I tried to stab him, but he moved at the last second, and I only made a long, but not deep, cut on his stomach, though this seemed to bother him if I had to guess by his expression.

The goblin ran at me again, and I dodged again, this time without stumbling. I tried to stab him again, and while I didn't miss this time, it seemed like the goblin was expecting the move because he raised his arm to block the knife, which I then plunged into his arm. Before I could pull it out, he hit me in the stomach with the club, knocking me to the ground.

The bastard took the opportunity to get on top of me and start choking me with his hands. The damn creature started to grin when he saw me trying to pull his arms off to make him let go, without much success. It seemed like the goblin was overpowering me. I couldn't get him to let go, and he had a wound in his arm from the knife. But in my desperation, I remembered something: my hands had claws.

So I let go of his right arm and dug my claws into his right eye. He let go and recoiled, clutching his eye and screaming in pain. Now the tables had turned. I ran towards the goblin, threw him to the ground, and dug my claws into his throat. He tried to reach my face with his arms, but they were too short to reach me, and I started pressing harder until he stopped struggling. Even when he stopped moving, I kept pressing my claws into his neck until I was sure he was dead.

"Haaahaaa" I couldn't help but pant from exhaustion and pain after the fight. I tried to get up from atop the monster's body, but a sudden pain in my abdomen stopped me halfway. I put my hand on it and was greeted with a sharp pain. I didn't think I had anything broken, but it would definitely be uncomfortable to walk like this. Then I remembered a skill I hadn't tried yet.

"Heal."

As soon as I said the spell's name, the pain in my abdomen progressively disappeared until I felt nothing at all.

I stood up and lifted my blouse to check my stomach, finding no marks on it.

"Magic really is useful," I said to myself with a small smile on my face, which disappeared when I looked at my dead assailant.

"If what I read was true, at least this type of goblin generally doesn't move alone. Although I doubt he has hidden companions if they haven't attacked me yet," I reflected aloud.

"I better leave before his friends come looking for him," I said as I stored his body in the ring and began to walk.

...

I walked for about two more hours alone in the forest without any interruption this time, and it seemed like I could keep walking endlessly trying to get out of this forest, or so I thought when I noticed ahead that there was more light.

I began to run towards the light, and when I reached it, I saw in front of me a meadow that seemed to have no end, with the only thing standing out being a walled city from which chimneys protruded, emitting smoke.

Finally, after walking for several hours in a forest, being attacked by a wolf, nearly sacrificed by a witch, and having a death match with a goblin, I finally see civilization. But I don't feel the happiness I thought I would feel, just fear.

By the way, tell me what you thought of the fight.
