It has been a week since The Great Feud ended which took many lives and put Orario to a standstill. Currently the economy is recovering, things are gradually returning to normal.

Adventurers are the first to return working, they rely on the Dungeon to make money which forced most of them to start working in spite of the increased danger. The additional danger in Dungeon crawling were the remnants of Evilus, they have a high chance of hiding in the Dungeon.

The number of adventurers going inside the Dungeon is already lower than normal, and another problem have arisen. A rumor about an irregular monster on the upper floors.

"Is there really an ogre lurking on the upper floors?"

"It's possible, there's already many sightings of the said ogre."

"But aren't they saying different every time?"

"That's from those fakes who's saying they saw it."

"They said it's on the same size as a minotaur, and have two large horns on its forehead."

"That's wrong, it's actually about the same size as a human, it have two horns but it's as small as a hand, they also added that it can rip an orc apart."

"Terrifying, I don't want to encounter that monster."

"Me too, luckily it resides on the tenth floor."

I've cut through the wind, every stem accelerated me forward. I reared my right arm building power before releasing it, my body came to a sudden stop. My attack connected, the accumulated power from my speed resulted the fall of my target.

Being a quadrupedal monster it recovered quickly, its vicious eyes glared directly at me. Its imposing figure give of a feeling that a single attack is enough to knock me cold. It took the initiative to attack, it charged at a astonishing speed.

I waited for the perfect moment, when the opportunity showed itself I jumped to the left side while moving forward. The monster instinctively tried to bite me by moving its long neck, it missed as I have planned. Midair, I grabbed hold of its neck, progressively getting tighter with the intent to suffocate it.

It was a flaw that I've utilized, its body is disproportionate. It have a long body supported by four limbs, and have an underwhelming height the same as a normal human.

It run around trying to get me off for a few minutes before dying, its body lost power and went limp.

"Is this the boss of the upper floors, what a disappointment, a silver back is harder to deal with than this," I jumped off from the lifeless body of the infant dragon, and took out a war shadow's finger blade.

Using the war shadow's finger blade as a knife I extracted the magic stone from the infant dragon. Its large body immediately turned to ashes upon the removal of magic stone, only its hide remains.

"A drop item, how lucky," I exclaimed knowing how rare it is.

On my time in the Dungeon I have accumulated a sizable amount of drop item but without a single magic stone. I have 17 kobold nails, 13 goblin fangs, 3 dungeon lizard's suction disks, 7 frog shooter's eyes, 19 killer ant's shell, 1 purple moth's wing, 23 needle rabbit's tusks, 2 orc hides, and a silver back's fur.

I tried absorbing the infant dragon's magic stone but it didn't enhance me, instead it only made my horns turn into a darker shade of blue.

I have already expected this outcome, it's been awhile since I've reached my limit. I only tried the infant dragon in hopes of overcoming that limit, it's now clear, I needed to get a blessing.

On the way to the surface I've met the wariness and slight hostility of adventurers passing by. They didn't attack and only observed, the reason for their actions might be my appearance.

Torn clothes, inhuman horns, and a body that reaks of blood. They couldn't decide if I'm a monster or not, that's why they're passive. The smarter one's just ignoring me, they saw me carrying a backpack which point me to be either an adventurer or a supporter.

While inside the Babel I went to shower, it was refreshing as I have not taken a bath for how many days. My hair reverted to its original color, from crimson due to my stay at the Dungeon to ash.

I have known that I behaved strangely in the Dungeon, it's not how I usually work. If not urgent, I'm more of a careful person. I make preparation and plans for most of what I do, it's not just a second nature of me but it's my very core.

I will not be alive at this moment if not for that trait, but for it to change suddenly is not normal. I still retained it to some extent, but when in combat I get a feeling of trill.

The new trait I gained is not that bad really, it can even be considered good. I can have a new goal in this different environment, a goal to get stronger.

★★★

I have sold most of the drop items with the except the hides and the silver back's fur, all amounts to 121, 740 valis. With now having a sizable amount of money, I can now precent myself to a good Familia.

They say first impression is the most important, same goes for joining a good Familia. I plan to buy a formal clothing along with some armor, a weapon is not that important as it's always sure to bring some bad impression.

"With that, all that's left is where to join. Should I just go for a top Familia?" I pondered for a bit, scaling the weights of each top Familia I know.

After weighing the benefits and disadvantages I concluded that Loki Familia is the most balanced.
