Exiting/Going outside of an “all purpose store”, at 07:00 pm, during nighttime. I unintentionally entered a warp portal/gate, the moment, I opened the shop’s door and went outside it.

“Fuck!”

I cursed out loud, as I felt my body twist itself into spaghetti, and then get transformed into a light beam that proceeded to cross several unknown light years, in order to reach a destination far away from my home galaxy.

“Goddammit !”

“At least let me get my apartment, as my special ability !”

“I have stacked enough food, clothes, games & books in there to last me for a few years, in the eventual case of being transported in another fucking galaxy !!!”

Being blinded by the light of the warp gate for a while, while moving at light speed. I asked for a special ability, in the form of being able to summon my 1+1 apartment as a shelter, in case of any emergency. But instead of getting an apartment summoning ability, I got something else instead!

Hell yeah. I got the famous holographic window, also known as the SYSTEM.

“Fuck.” I cursed while knowing the meaning of what it really meant to have a system. 

“Damn… A comfortable house would have been more useful.”

After a few minutes of what felt like eternity to me, the one who was kidnapped by a warp gate. The light inside the warp portal began to fade, and my body which was previously twisted into spaghetti & light particles, was rearranged in its previous humanoid form, without showing any signs of injury, wounds or missing biomass/flesh.

.

Decelerating from a light speed trip, which took only a few minutes of my time. I was dropped in a foreign land which resembled a dry sand desert.

Opening my eyes wide, from this supernatural occurrence, my face showed a look of bewilderment & anger at the sudden turn of unfolding events.

“Great!”

“It dropped me in the middle of fucking nowhere! In another galaxy, far away, where my internet connection(Wifi) doesn’t work!”

“At least send me to a king’s palace, a jade like beauty, a fairy, or a damned cult of devil believers. That way I won’t be left wandering in confusion, without any sort of helpful guide to lead me in the right direction!!!”

Expressing my frustration, at the problems brought by my sudden warp related kidnapping incident, if it can even be called one. I felt totally helpless for the first time in years.

.

The place I spawned at, was a landscape filled with sand, sand hills, rocks, boulders & a few mountains far away in the background. It was a dry desert. A desert devoid of any signs of life. Heck, there wasn’t even a sign of any cactus in sight!

.

“Whatever.”

“What has occurred cannot be undone. Instead of complaining, I should scout out the area, for any signs of civilization or road to civilization.”

“Surely… the warp gate… didn’t send me in a desert themed planet, like “STARSAND”… right?”

.

THIS WASN’T STARSAND, RIGHT~?!!

“Oh… no no no no no no no no, NO!!!”

“Damn it.”

.

“Whichever entity screwed me over, hear me out!”

“I will fuck your brain, body & soul beyond recognition, if I ever encounter you!”

“If this is really Starsand. I will make sure that your pain will be limitless & truly agonizing!”

.

Declaring my revenge towards whichever entity that had brought me here, through a few short threatening sentences. I decided to take my first step, in this desolate sandy landscape, resembling Stardust.

.

However.

Another situation occurred.

A very dangerous situation at that.

The moment I took my first step into this new world, a chain like shaped tail with a stinger on top of it, emerged from below ground, 5 centimeters away from my right foot!

Levon: “!!!” (Frightened, frozen.)

.

The stinger tail, was heading straight for my brain, with the intention to kill me, when suddenly something fast, supernatural & unexplainable occurred!

.

My shadow leaked out a wave of darkness from within it, and right when the attack happened, a humanoid hand caught me by the neck, from behind and pulled me 1 meter away from the incoming attack of the stinger tail!

For a few seconds my sight blurred, and I found myself 1 meter away from the spot I previously stood at.

Terrified, by the suddenness of the events in occurrence. I couldn’t move a muscle, as my mind was still processing the fact, that I was almost killed, from a hidden enemy.

Emerging from below the sandy grounds of the desert, a scorpion the size of a dog, with 2 crab like claws & a long chain like tail, appeared and screeched at “us” with ferocity!

“This is absurd!”

Locked in a duel, just by taking the first step in this planet, felt crazy. But what felt even crazier was the fact that I almost died to a desert monstrosity, instead of a human or apex predator, which are at the top of the food chain.

.

“Ridiculous!!!” I screamed in shame & terror.

.

Interpreting my words as a declaration for a duel, the Hatchling Desert Scorpion, threw it’s stinger tail at “us”, hoping to kill the weakest of “us” which was me, Levon Dustgold.

Unfortunately, the scorpion’s attack didn’t succeed, as “Shape Sister”, a trap card monster with its own level & element, stepped in front of me & took the damage of the attack head on, for me.

.

Normally, Shape Sister who didn’t have any Atk or Def points, should have been destroyed by the tail’s attack, which contained 100 points of attack power. 

But that didn’t happen…

.

It didn’t happen, because the moment I saw her put herself in the middle, in order to protect me. I suddenly realized that I had a card in my deck, from my store bought packs, capable of turning the tide of the battle in my favor.

[ GRAVITY AXE-GRARL (Spell Card) ]

Before the tail of the scorpion had reached MY sister(duel monster), I shouted the name of the Spell Card, without needing to hold it.

.

After all, as the system itself said, my cards were already on the playing field.

All I had to do was activate them.

The Hatchling’s Desert Scorpion’s tail stinger, which was about to destroy my Shape Sister, hit MY duel monster on her chest area, were the heart was supposed to be, piercing right through her, and proceeding forward to pierce me too.

However…

The second attempt on my life failed, as thanks to Shape Sister taking the kinetic energy of the tail’s attack head on, the tail had lost it’s pushing force, and was forced to stop 30 centimeters away, from my left leg.

.

Understanding that she would vanish from the battle field, because of the hole/injury, in her body which still contained the scorpion’s tail, impaled through her.

Shape Sister grabbed the tail of the scorpion tightly with her left hand, and pulled the hatchling scorpion towards her in an instant, as if she was pulling balloon, thanks to her strength now being higher then the scorpion’s.

Finally, with her right hand, she materialized GRARL, the gravity axe in her remaining empty hand, and swung at the hatchling with all her might, cutting the monster in two, without any resistance.

.

The Desert Scorpion, tried to resist the attack coming from the axe, but found himself unable to defend himself due to the Axe’s effect, which makes monsters not change their battle positions.

.

Swing, boom !!!

.

Not only was the little desert monster cut into two halves, its whole body was slammed against the sandy ground, making him become something between a mashed, yet cut corpse.

.

Cut Mashed Scorpion Corpse, would probably fit its name now, since it’s already mashed up!

.

Levon: (Smiles softly in selfishness)

“Well, that was…”

“…exciting.”

After having gone through two different events, that would leave a person wondering, if this was a God’s prank or not. I sat on a nearby spherical rock 🪨 , that was utterly harmless to me, thanks to Shape Sister checking it out before I sat on it.

.

“Man, that was so terrifying and dangerous in so many ways, I hate imagining what would have happened, if you had not shown up on time.” I said to myself & Shape Sister, as I took the time to relax and gather my thoughts in regards to what was happening to me right now.

.

Being kidnapped to another planet by a warp gate.

Unlocking a system, that may or may not be the culprit to my kidnapping case.

Battling an infant scorpion, strong enough to beat a bodybuilder.

.

Man, today certainly wasn’t my good lucky day, for sure!

.

Shape Sister: (Tilts her head, in confusion)

Beside me, on my left side, Shape Sister, a trap card that allows the duelist to summon a low level monster to defend itself, in case of there being a life threatening attack to the duelist, was also sitting on a rock, in confusion.

She had been impaled in the heart by the stinger tail of the hatchling scorpion, but since she had managed to overcome her damage right at the moment when I activated or rather equipped the gravity axe on her, she had evaded her demise, thanks to her Atk being higher then her opponent.

Nevertheless…

HOW THE HECK IS SHE STILL ALIVE!!!

She was missing a big part of her flesh + 1 very important vital organ, right where the heart was supposed to be!

This is utterly “scientifically” unacceptable!

.

“Sigh “

“I must calm myself.”

.

“This monster saved my life.”

“MY LIFE, goddamnit.”

If she is still alive, then lady luck, must have blessed me, for I would definitely hate myself, as a human being, by allowing an innocent “sister” type, such as her to die in order to save a nobody like me.

.

With confidence & absolute resolve in myself. I got up from the rock 🪨 I was sitting on and approached Shape Sister.

Shape Sister, noticing me approaching her, also got up, ready to hear my next commands.

However, instead of receiving her next command, the cannon fodder monster, a monster that had no attack power or defensive power to boast about, was hugged by her duelist tightly.

.

Hugging Shape sister was the first thing I did. Afterwards, I told her my true feelings.

.

Levon: “Sister, thank you for being there for me, when I needed someone the most.”

.

Shape Sister: (Blushes)

.

Levon: “I know that you are not my real sister. I know that you are just a weak “duel monster spirit”, with no name or other uses, to yourself.”

.

Shape Sister: (Sad, feels frustrated.)

.

Levon: “NEVERTHELESS!”

“You have saved my life. And that’s a debt I can never repay for as long as I live!!”

“You can exit forever, thanks to your card’s continuous effect! Heck, you probably can’t even die, because cards can always come back from the graveyard by other cards effects.”

“But I only have one life sister…”

Shape Sister: ( Huh, what’s he talking about?) (Confused)

.

Levon: “I know that you may not be anything impressive by human standards. I know you probably can’t understand me.”

“But!”

“…I was so afraid, in that moment of weakness…” 😔 

“And when you showed up and pulled me out from the grasp of certain death.”

“I already made up my mind.”

“I want to acknowledge you as MY REAL SISTER, and as my most favorite card in the whole Yu-gi-Oh, duel monster spirit, franchise/series/games!”

“SHAPE SISTER…”

“I love you.”

SHAPE SISTER: (“Omg!!!”) 

• (Heating up like roasted beef, on a frying pan) 

• (Unable to do anything but blush intensely)

• (Accepts her owner’s love, & yearns to become the perfect mate to him.)

Today, in my moments of utter weakness, from the fright I received by the machinations of the universe. I confessed my love, to a random “monster” I knew nothing about. And by doing so I made her my most precious person, in this sandy landscape, devoid of any signs of vegetation.

.

I needed help.

I needed a pillar of support, to lean & hold myself on.

I need this female(Shape Sister), regardless of her gender, species, origins or imperfections.

.

Without someone to serve as an anchor to my fading sanity, I would become something inhuman eventually.

To avoid that, while knowing too well, what it meant to be sent in another world, I accepted the monster in front on me, into my heart.

She will become my foundation. The foundation for a bright future, in case I never return back on Earth.

“Ah…” I already miss my wifi connection, but contrarily, I am excited to allow the Trap Card in front of me to activate again.

I had not used the card’s effect, since the end of the battle with the puny scorpion.

It’s time for me to activate it.
