<Sc'the>
I was ecstatic with joy. Excitement. Gratitude. A whole plethora of things as I shot off in the direction of the library, I realize that I could just (Warp) there or elsewhere to find Thria, but I wasn't sure how that would effect the new Creation of mine, and I didn't want the construct to accidentally attune itself to Space Mana before I could have Thria attune herself to it's remaining Unattuned Core herself.
I didn't think that it would be too bad an issue, but I knew that it would certainly be annoying if I had to destroy the attuned core and then recreate it so that Thria could then attune to that one instead...or even just create a third core that could act like a kind of junction between the two main cores, but keeping the main two connected to each other as well so that the entire system wasn't dependent on that one connection to keep the two stable.
It would be rough it the one main weakness my best creation had was a singular core that represented the connection between the being I wanted it to be the guardian of and that of it's own power and growth...
I ended up not finding Thria in the library like I thought I would, so I instead followed her scent over to where it was she went to next and that turned out to be her room: I knocked wondering if she was doing something private, taking a nap, or down for the night, but my worries were unfounded as she opened the door not five seconds after I'd knocked.
"Fluffy!" She cheered, hugging my neck and I carefully moved the construct out of the way as she did so...I needed a good name for it, I realized. Calling it Snake Construct of Creation wasn't the greatest thing to do, especially since it had sentience, but then again, I did make it for Thria sooo...she could name it instead.
Hi Thria I greeted and when she stepped away she noticed what I was carrying and aimed to question me about it but I shot her down before she could ask. Don't worry about Mr. Snake here, he's just sleeping for the moment...can I come in? I want to show you something.
"I'm sorry," Thria realized she was blocking the door, "Yeah, you're welcome in here anytime Fluffy!" I then followed her over to her bed and asked her to sit on it as I jumped up at the foot of the bed and gently slid the Construct Snake off of my neck and onto the bed in-front of her.
Could you place your hand here and channel a little Mana into it please, it'll help waken them up I asked, not wanting to tell her just yet the real reason why I wanted her to do so, and--ever the cheerful soul--Thria did as I asked without asking any questions. I waited a moment to assess the connection and when I was sure that the connection between her and it was stable I moved on to the real reason why I visited this time.
I'm sorry Thria, but I'm going to be leaving tonight I solemnly admitted and immediately her ears drooped and her tail stopped wagging...it was the worst feeling to see the person that had become my second actual best friend in this world becoming so sad just from a simple sentence. I--I need to go South to help the people I've met there, and there's something else there too that relates to my future, so...I'm sorry.
"You're leaving?" She asked crestfallen and I nodded sadly.
Yeah.
"But you just got here...and--" she started to tear up now, "And I was looking forward to playing with you a little longer before you had to go."
I nuzzled her cheek with my snout and tried to reassure her, I know, but I have to go. I care about the people there and I want to make sure that they're okay, but I promise that I'll visit whenever I can okay. I have a Skill that allows me to put a Permeant (Warp) Point that I can access at any time, from wherever I am so I can visit you. Do you want to see where I put it?
I hadn't actually put it down yet because I wasn't sure how the Gate part of the Skill worked, but then she nodded I had no choice but to hope down from the bed and make myself fully visible so she could see everything that I was doing. I think that she got a little mesmerized by my eyes, or something, because I had to wave my paw in front of her face to get her back before I went over to the left side of the door to her room and tapped the ground with the same paw, wishing to use one of the Gate options for my (Spatial Warp) Skill here.
Gate Points Available: 1 Unused, 1 Used -- 2 Total
The Skill materialized as a sort of purple Pillar of Energy with a fine point that seemed to sink into the floor from where my paw had touched, and we both watched, fascinated, as the energy faded from view and left empty space as if it were never there. I looked back at Thria hopeful that that demonstration had at least settled her sadness a little and while she was still a little teary-eyed she wiped them away and her expression turned serious for once.
"You promise to come play with me, and often?" She demanded and I nodded.
Yes, I promise. I meant it, I'll come whenever I can and I'll try to come as often as possible lest you forget about me.
She (Dash)ed over and wrapped her arms around my neck in a tight hug, "I could never forget about you Mr. Fluffy. I swear that I'll work hard and grow strong so that I can come visit you one day, and then there'll be no reason for us to be apart from each other again!" She promised herself and I internally cringed...What had I gotten myself into now?
Okay. Now that this has been figured out, how about we join your new friend over there and I'll tell you a little about what they are and how they'll help you for the future. I hopped over her and onto the bed with a slight glide and Thria joined me not a moment later. I wanted to give you the honor of naming them because they're going to be your newest friend and closest companion for the rest of both our lives.
"Really? I get to name them?" Thria's eyes were wide and hopeful and I nodded for her to go ahead and do so. "This is so cool! My friend made me another friend and I get to name them!" She then jumped off the bed and started to pace at the foot of the bed in thought, looking around the room and at me for what I guessed was inspiration?
It didn't take too long though, as after her fifth pass she suddenly lit up like a light and yelled out what she was thinking, "Indigo! I'm going to name her Indigo!" She decided and I looked at the newly minted Indigo to see if anything had changed and to my surprise she'd gained an entire stat-list with her new name filling the top-most line.
Name: Indigo
Species: Dual Toxin/Shifter Core Construct Snake
(Class S+ Creation)
Estimated Rank: S+
Job: Guardian of Imperial Princess Thria Aldactus Novine of the Novine Empire
Personal Level: 1/50
Huh, so when it's name had been recognized by The System it decided to give her her own Status Screen and a Unique Point-System similar to that of Thria's own...which made sense, as they were bonded for life now...
Why name them Indigo? I genuinely wanted to know, and Thria beamed at me.
"Because your fur and her scales look similar, but her scales are lighter, so naming her Purple wouldn't work..." Thria reasoned and I nearly face-pawed as her thought-process. "Also, I've always wanted a girl friend, and Indigo didn't seem like they'd be a male Snake, so it fits!" I sighed once more, but didn't argue with her reasoning as it didn't really matter in the end. So long as she was happy that she had someone else to play with and be around for her, I was happy that she was happy.
Okay I admitted, and she seemed to notice the shift in context as her ears drooped a little.
"Do you really have to go?" She whined and I nuzzled her again reassuringly.
Yeah.
"Before you go can we play another game?" She was trying to stall now, and with something that she knew we both enjoyed, but I really needed to go. I'd spent too much time here as it was since my evolution has freed me from any sort of control, and now that my goal to leave here had been fulfilled it was time.
I'm sorry I said before hopping into the air and hovering a moment, she shifted into a falcon of some kind and tried following after me but I smiled at her one last time, trying to be nice, and I flew up and through the roof, where she wouldn't be able to follow. I hovered above the roof window her room had and she flew over to it and chirped sadly wanting me to stay. I looked up towards the Southern horizon and looked at Thria one last time for the next while, and (Spatial Warp)ed as far as I could possibly go before I had any second thoughts...

Not sure if putting the gate point in her room is a good idea when he gets bigger every evolution. Thanks for the chapter.
Fair point, lol, but that issues should get resolved in the future.
Thanks for the chapter 🍪
