Mo Fang’s lips curled into a beautiful smile. "That’s the most beautiful thing anyone has ever told me." He melted into Li Ming’s arms, feeling that this day couldn’t get any better. "Then … how will we continue now?"

He seemed a little shy as if he didn’t know how to proceed. If Li Ming had stopped for even a moment to think about it, he would’ve realized how illogical that actually was. All things considered, Mo Fang was younger than him but he had been in more relationships. If there was somebody that should be confused about how to continue, it would be himself, definitely not Mo Fang. But, love could make people blind.

Seeing Mo Fang’s seemingly shy expression, Li Ming couldn’t doubt it at all. He just felt that he was really cute and that it was natural he should take the lead when the other person wasn’t sure how to continue.

He smiled, his eyes overflowing with happiness. "Well, it’s only been a week so there’s a lot we don’t really know and understand about each other. I would say to just take it slow. Meet up when we can outside of work, talk some more, do some things together, whatever you like. Just … get closer with time. And then, we’ll see where things lead."

Mo Fang nodded, still pretending to be a little shy. "I can’t believe I actually had such luck. I was prepared to wait a long time for you."

"I’m glad that you didn’t need to. Anyway, we should probably continue with our jog. And then, we could go on a date if you want to. Is there anything you’d like to do?"

Mo Fang’s smile grew more pronounced. He just couldn’t help himself. It was one thing to pretend to be gentle and shy if he was still trying to draw Li Ming in but when he had just taken home such a victory, it was hard not to let his real colors show. "Well, as long as I’m with you, that’s already enough. How about just going somewhere? I’m sure there is something interesting open today."

Li Ming nodded. "Alright, then that’s what we’ll do."

"Okay." Mo Fang stepped back to make sure he wouldn’t overdo it and then lightly tugged at Li Ming’s sleeve. "Let’s continue then."

With that, the two of them continued with their run, both in an especially happy mood. It was nice enough meeting up as just friends and doing something together but being in a relationship was different. And just thinking about how they would be doing this much more in the future, it really made them hopeful about what was to come.

Half an hour later, the two of them slowed down again and exchanged a glance. They had been running much longer than the day before but they actually didn’t feel like stopping.

Li Ming reached out and took Mo Fang’s hand, giving a smile. "Well, I guess it’s time to stop now. We’ve been going for quite some time. Let’s just decide on where to go for our date?"

Mo Fang gave a hum and the two of them just cooled off a little, finally stopping close to the next station.

Mo Fang pondered for a moment and then stepped closer to Li Ming, lightly tugging at his shirt. "I guess we should go and take a shower and change clothes before we go on that date. Although … I have to say that I really loathe the thought that I won’t be able to come with you."

"I wouldn’t mind if you did."

Mo Fang smiled at that, inching even closer. "Are you sure? I really don’t want to be too demanding. It’s just that I’m so happy we’re finally together." He reached up and cupped Li Ming’s cheek, taking a deep look into his eyes.

Li Ming couldn’t help but lean a little closer, and even his voice unwittingly lowered as if he was afraid to drive Mo Fang away if he wasn’t careful enough. "I really don’t mind. Do you want to take the subway or walk back?"

Mo Fang gave another hum and then motioned down the road. "Well, if you’re asking like this, then I think I’d actually prefer to walk. That way, we can spend some more time together."

Li Ming’s smile turned brighter. "Hey, it’s not like I’m going to go anywhere. So you don’t have to worry that you won’t be able to spend enough time with me."

Mo Fang pulled out of his arms and then tugged at his hand to make him follow him down the road. "You’re saying that but we will have to go back to work in two days so we won’t be able to be together as much at that time. And also, since I’m not living with you anymore, there’s no time in the morning and the evening either. Really, it feels as if we’re going to spend less time together now that we’re a couple than we did before."

"I’m sure it just feels like that. Anyway, I promise we’ll spend every free day together that we have."

Mo Fang lightly pursed his lips. He hadn’t believed that Li Ming would be so head over heels for him that he would let him move right back in but it still was a bit of a pity that he had to wait for that. Well, there was still the option to just spend a few nights a week there and then go from there. He’d manage to work something out. "I really hope that our next free day will be sooner." He reached out and tucked at the lapel of Li Ming’s shirt, pulling him closer, and giving him a kiss. "Mn, I am one lucky guy even if it doesn’t."

Li Ming didn’t quite know how to respond to that but inwardly, he couldn’t help but think that he was the same. It really was his luck to have met Mo Fang that day when he was talking to Boss Mo. Otherwise, he really would have missed out.
