The two of them left the apartment and then went to the park where they had been jogging the first time. In any case, since they were already at his apartment, it didn’t make sense to go somewhere else. They didn’t even need to talk about it and just headed in that direction as if they had previously agreed on it.

Li Ming couldn’t help but take a few more glances at Mo Fang, noticing the brilliant smile on his lips. He was a bit surprised that Mo Fang had actually apologized before when he pulled back. After all, he hadn’t made it explicit that he felt bothered. This had to mean that Mo Fang had to be taking really serious what he had said before, right? This was really nice. He liked this kind of understanding of each other.

He smiled as well and then stepped a little closer, lightly brushing against Mo Fang’s arm with his own. "So, when exactly am I finding out what you’ve planned for us today?"

Mo Fang turned to look at him and laughed. "I never would’ve thought that Bro Li was this kind of impatient person. When I see you at work talking to the passengers, you always seem like you could wait for ages until they’ve explained their problems."

Li Ming laughed as well. "Well, that is different though, isn’t it? One is my job and the other time, it’s about going out with my boyfriend."

Mo Fang gave a hum and then reached out, lightly tapping his arm. "I’m not sure if I’m right but I feel like this is the first time you’ve called me your boyfriend. It’s really nice."

Li Ming was a little surprised. He wasn’t quite sure if this was the first time either but it could be. After all, this was only the second day since they had started dating. And since he was somebody who was normally more into slowly developing things, it still felt a little awkward even though it was the truth. But just now, he had easily said it like this. It probably spoke a lot about how much he liked Mo Fang. "Well, you are my boyfriend. In the future, you’re probably going to hear that way more."

Mo Fang chuckled. "Well, I certainly don’t mind. I’m curious what kind of cute nickname you’ll come up with."

Li Ming raised his brows and actually pondered the question. Since he was a bit reluctant to get physical too soon, this was probably something that he should put a lot of thought into. After all, Mo Fang obviously needed to be reassured quite a lot. If he was able to show him with other things how much he meant to him, then it would probably make it easier for him not to need to be physical too early as well.

What nickname to choose though … he had a hard time coming up with something. Especially if he considered that Mo Fang had had quite a few relationships before. The number of cute pet names he had already heard was probably quite high. And if he coincidentally chose one that a previous ex had used and maybe even someone like Lan Heng who he had broken up with after a lot of heartbreak … it definitely wouldn’t go over well.

Mo Fang slowed down when he saw Li Ming’s expression. "What’s the matter?"

Li Ming had no idea how to explain himself. "That …" He felt that no matter what he said, it would sound a little wrong. Asking him about it directly would seem as if he was complaining that Mo Fang had already had so many relationships. On the other hand, he also couldn’t just say that nothing was wrong when had Mo Fang already asked because he noticed something.

Mo Fang raised his brows and finally stopped, making Li Ming stop as well. "Bro Li, don’t tell me that you don’t know any pet names!" This couldn’t be. While he didn’t mind just being called by his name, that wasn’t the same. In a good relationship, shouldn’t you have a cutesy name for your boyfriend?

Li Ming could only give a wry smile. "It’s not that I don’t know any pet names at all. It’s …" He looked for something he could say that wouldn’t hurt Mo Fang’s feelings. In the end, he could only g about it in a roundabout way. "Well, it’s only the second day and I don’t want to give you just any name. After all, you’re my special person. Naturally, the pet name I choose for you should also be something special, right?

"So I’m wondering what it should be but I haven’t been able to come up with something yet. Maybe it would be great if it was something that fit a situation we went through together. Something that has a special meaning just for the two of us. I guess I just have to see about it."

Mo Fang actually smiled when he got that explanation and then inched closer, wrapping his arms around Li Ming’s neck once again. "Ah, that is so sweet!" He pecked his lips before he pulled back, still happy. "You’re really the best boyfriend I ever had. Nobody’s ever said something this nice to me." He cupped Li Ming’s cheeks and then leaned in, giving him yet another kiss as if he couldn’t praise him enough for this.

Li Ming couldn’t help but hug him back, feeling that now really wasn’t the time to say no. In any case, it was also nice being thanked like this. He would be a liar if he denied that. "It’s what I think. You are not just anyone to me so I’ll also treat you as my special person."

Even though this had originally been because he didn’t know what to choose, it actually felt right now that he said it. Especially with somebody like Mo Fang who had some experience, this was probably the way to go about it, right? To have something special that connected just the two of them and couldn’t be compared to anyone else. It was probably the solution he had been looking for.
