When he awakened, Jay saw the beautiful blue sky above him, while he himself was lying in the soft grass.

"Ah right, the ninth great mystery of planet Hope, how did we arrive, guess we aren't solving that one today."

He quickly stood up, excited to have arrived he looked at his surroundings. To the north was a massive mountain range covered in Ice, in the west there was a river which was well over 200 meters wide and to the south, he saw a lush forest which consisted of trees well over 5 meters in height.

When he looked east everything seemed like more of the same, with the patches of grass he was standing on now as well as the forest to his south which expanded further. What couldn’t be seen however was the barrier which would stop him from going very far in that direction, the barrier would surely stop anyone from passing, at least for the time being.

He didn’t waste too much time thinking of how they appeared here or how closeby others would be, instead he decided to have a good look at his belongings. Other then the rewards he got from the most recent missions he noticed he was still wearing the clothes and equipment he had in the illusion which, justly, puzzled him. Seeing he still had the sword, spear and bow he previously took with him he wouldn't complain though.

He could tell at a glance the sword and bow he had on him were decent weapons but nothing worthy of a grade. The spear did seem of a bit of a better quality as the fight from before only damaged it a tiny amount which was better then any common grade weapon would be.

| Name: Bandit's spear

Quality: F grade

Specialties: Unbreakable I, Morale I

Description: A weapon that belonged to a strong bandit leader in charge of a poor group of roaming bandits.|

In truth, he was quite satisfied not only with the weapon before him but also the amount of data an E-grade AI-chip would bring someone. After just a thought the specialties would also be explained.

Unbreakable I: The weapon will be harder to destroy.

Morale I: People under your command will fight more vigurously.

Jay couldn't help but positively nod looking at this spear. Even though it was only F-grade, it would be pretty hard to get a quality weapon in the beginning stages, leave alone one with unbreakable, which was by far the most important common specialty a quality weapon could have.

After having this fortunate event befalling him he explored the AI-chip a bit more. The AI-chip would listen to his commands even if he would just think them, which was a great way as you could easily hide what grade AI-chip you have. An E-grade AI-chip could be used for appraisal, storing a limited amount of information and some social features.

The mysteries surrounding this planet were numerous, things such as the AI-chip and the marketplace he would surely use didn’t have an explanation available to the general public. Even as a clan leader he only had a limited idea of these things only hearing they had something to do with the ‘World Will’. He had yet to get a good understanding of this concept in his previous life though.

After putting this thought aside, he had 1 more thing to consider. This was whether he should use the platinum base token or if he should split it up into 4 gold ones and use one of those. After all, he would have to make more towns in the future and he also had to think long term.

After a long while of considering, he decided to use the platinum token. The reason was rather simple, in his previous life the people with silver tokens would often wage war against each other in order to get the ability to upgrade their base token to Gold, so if they did that instead of using those tokens to put down more villages there must've been a reason. And by that logic, a platinum token should be just as worth it.

After looking in his interspacial ring for a moment, he found a small metallic cube with a blue shine to it. On top of the cube was a small depiction of a castle. He carefully placed the cube on the ground about a mile away from the river as a notification flashed in front of his eyes.

| User has placed down Platinum base token, do you wish to proceed with the creation of a new base? |

"Yes"

After he said that simple word another notification popped up.

| Please name your settlement |

In truth, Jay couldn't help but hesitate hearing this notification. He had already decided on how to name his empireonce he filled the requirements for making one but he hadn't truly thought of how to call his capital. After thinking for a bit, he decided upon a name that wouldn't be hard to remember, something that would help it gather fame.

"I shall name this settlement 'First City'"

| Name accepted; Congratulations user for creating your first settlement. Rewarded 10 Gold Coins. |

| Reward for creating a silver quality settlement: 10 Gold coins, basic smithery, basic tailory awarded.|

| Reward for creating a gold quality settlement: 10 Small houses, basic blacksmith, 4 basic talents, 100 garshten seeds. |

| Reward for creating a platinum quality settlement: 1 Mansion, basic magic tower, basic magic instructor, 30 gold coins, 1 advanced talent. |

| Reward for creating the first platinum quality settlement: 100 gold coins, 1 basic marketplace. |

Jay smiled widely as he looked at the small pile of squares in front of him, each with a picture on the front representing a certain building. After keeping himself from yelling out in joy, he thought of how to place the buildings.

He knew he didn't have any great skills in such a matter so in the end he reached into his interspacial ring using his mind and pulled out 2 thin coins. After throwing these on the ground there was a flash as 2 figures appeared before him simultaneously kneeling before him. On the left was the A grade architect, he looked like a 20-year-old guy who had never touched a weight in his life.

| Name: Leyler Gariel (lv1)

Talents: A grade Architect, E grade leader

Titles: Great architect (Build speed increased by 25%), Minor leader (efficiency increased by 10% when leading a group of 10 or less), Blind Follower (This follower will never betray you)

Strength: 3

Agility: 3

Intelligence: 8

Politics: 6

Instinct: 3

Mana: 0

Speciality: none

Description: N/A |

Next to him was an extremely strong-looking general who wielded a spear. He looked like he was around 40 and had a multitude of scars on his face.

| Name: Grottle Green (lv1)

Talents: A+ grade General, B grade leader, C grade bodyguard

Titles: Great General (Strength of all troops he commands +25%), Bloodthirsty (Increased strength the more lives he takes), Believer in strength (Any soldier trained by him will be stronger by 20%), Blind Follower (This follower will never betray you)

Strength: 10

Agility: 8

Intelligence: 3

Politics: 4

Instinct: 8

Mana: 0

Speciality: none

Description: N/A |

Looking at both these he couldn't be more content. The general, in particular, was truly a force to be reckoned with. When utilized properly he could increase the troops’ strength by 45%. This was more than just a 1.5x strength increase. It would make their technique vastly better than a regular soldier making their soldiers double as valuable. The negative was, of course, his intelligence which was extremely low.

Once they appeared, General Green instantly spoke up: "My lord, how may I help you?" Directly followed by architect Gariel "My liege, my life is yours to command.".

"Very well, General, secure the outer perimeters, make sure there are no bandits or wild beasts nearby. Gariel, we have a bunch of buildings ready for construction, tell me the best way to place them for future expansion."

Once these orders were given both immediately got to work, General Green quickly started walking the perimeter looking for potential threats while the Architect started making a plan in the dirt.

After a while of discussing potential options, Jay and Architect Gariel decided to put the mansion at the center of the future city while they would use the 10 basic houses in 2 lines in front of it. Naturally leaving some space in between, after deciding upon this they placed the smithery, tailory and magic tower behind the mansion. As each of these would be restricted for now. The marketplace was put in between the houses and the Mansion as it was the most important building both for the town's prosperity as for himself.

Construction was very easy, as these buildings were gifted to him bu the system he simply had to put the small squares in the place he wanted the buildings to appear. Once these were placed down the building would slowly start rising out of the ground.

After having placed these, he grabbed all the tokens that represented citizens. After a moment spent in thought, he threw out all the tokens except the ones of the basic magic instructor and the advanced talent.

The others came down to 2 blacksmiths, a tailor, an adventurer, and a soldier.

He already knew all the ‘spawned’ people were actually created out of mana, this made them especially vulnerable to things created by the system. For example, his spear’s ‘Morale’ specialty wouldn’t have much effect against others that came from earth but its effect would be shown on those created from mana.

After having a look at each of their stats they each seemed to be pretty basic. However, since all of these would spawn with the 'Blind Follower' trait, they should still be properly cultivated.

Once he told architect Gariel to show the new citizens around he made his way to the mansion. It was a large 2 story building with a myriad of different rooms. Other than the basics it also had a small library and a cozy study as well as a small storage room with a bunch of candles stored inside. As for the library, it seemed like the books were rather common since he had already read all of them before.

After having a good look around he sat down in the study before having a good look at his own stats.
