Today I wanted to automate some things.

While doing some tests I discovered that I could move the contents of the special pages.

If I pushed something with the beetles, for example, a heart of mana it would move slightly.

If I stopped pushing it would return to the original position.

So, using 100 beetles I pushed a heart of mana on a page with another one and this happened.

The two hearts started to gravitate towards each other and started spinning while getting closer.

All the mana spheres belonging to them started to move to the page of the merge and started to rotate around the two hearts.

If I had to make an analogy I would describe the page I was watching as a galaxy with two black holes at the center and a white background.

 

After a while, the movements stopped and the hearts merged.

On a page, the text Heart of mana (life) [lowest]  disappeared and on the page of the merge, the text Heart of mana (life) [lower] appeared.

This heart of mana had double the mana of a normal one and it's mana spheres were smaller.

That meant I would have more definition when scanning but I would need more mana and more semispherical walls.

So I didn't merge any other hearts.

 

What I did instead was creating a spell building page

 

A few days ago I read a message from the system that said:

So I thought I could also write the name or description of the blueprint.

 

I wrote "spell" on a special page and this message appeared.

I wanted to add Scan but it was a bit tricky to get it to work.

Spells could only give commands to other pages or to the living ink.

I needed more building pages to build things with ink.

 

I merged two hearts of mana to free one special page.

On the newly freed page, I drew the mechanism I used to pop multiple spheres and the semispheric walls a couple of times.

I merged two other heats and used the free page as a mana recovery apparatus building page which builds a field of semispheres with empty mana spheres at the center to increase natural recovery and mana reabsorbed after scans.

This page was after the scanning apparatus building page.

 

Then I could finally add scan.

Now I can make bigger scans and I can keep reading the book much faster.

 

Let's read the second page

Scan(4000MP)

The scan was faster indeed and it was automatic. So nice

 

The mana spheres needed to pass through the title to get to the first page.

A lot of them were reflected but some of them passed.

By knowing that fact I was able to read the first page.

The same thing would happen between the first and the second page.

But 4000MP was not enough to get anything legible.

What is this?

The mana spheres that returned from the scan didn't form the shape of a text. No character could be seen. The form I could see on my page was totally different from what I had seen before.

What happened, was the book moved?

Or...wait! Was I moved?

 

I have an eerie feeling.

As if I saw something creepy but didn't notice yet.

What was that form I just scanned?

What is it!

 

Why is it creeping me out!

I can't understand!

What is that thing?

A hand!!!

 

Someone has taken me. There is someone else here!

I have no means to defend myself!

What do I do?

Maybe that person just moved me somewhere else and didn't read me.

I look at that page and I see part of it missing.

I am going to die!!!!

 

Then on that page, some text appears.

I'm scared. I didn't write it and it was not a message from the system. Which means...she...wrote...
