Knowing she'd angered Luna, Mira arrived prepared, carrying flowers and food as she walked the hallway of Luna's company.  The employees who saw her exchanged curious glances – definitely gossip fodder.

Luna hadn't answered Mira's calls, so she was completely surprised by Mira's arrival, though she'd been subtly informed.  Good, she's here, Luna thought, quickly tidying her desk.  The scattered papers and pens were a deliberate mess; lately, she'd been too lazy to even bother organizing her workspace. Her hair was slightly tousled, adding to her unexpectedly alluring dishevelment.  She looked… captivatingly undone, and while she was clearly trying to appear annoyed, a mischievous glint in her eyes betrayed her true feelings.

Feeling her preparations weren't quite enough, Luna glanced at her secretary. It was almost lunchtime, but the office was still busy. She discreetly signaled her secretary.

"Ms. President?"

"It's break time, send everyone out... and tell them to stay away from my office for a while.  I have a... private meeting."Luna said, her voice is still cold and casual

"Ah?" The secretary was surprised because it was so early, she wants to know if it's really Luna she's talking to, she was about to ask when a knock came.  Opening the door, she saw Mira, the President of Vosbein Jewelry and Luna's girlfriend, though only few knows about it.

Knowing Luna's mood swing lately and seeing Luna's lover she understood everything, she simply nodded and sent a quick message to the group chat: 'Lunch break, everyone!  Thanks to President Mira!'

...

Mira entered the office, she was surprised that it looks messy but what really caught her attention is Luna who was seating on the couch, who looks like in a mess yet so seductive.

" Baby~" Mira called sweetly

Luna stand up and by passed Mira but Mira called her again, she stop and slowly turn to face Mira

" What?"

" Baby, have you eaten? I brought your favorite,"

Luna looked at the flowers and food Mira had brought. '  Such a thoughtful gesture, just like before when she first came to me,  but I can't seem too eager. ' She pouted and looked away, playing the part of the still-offended lover.

Mira stared intently at Luna's pouty lips, then at her face.  She missed Luna terribly, longing to hold her and simply spend time together, but she wanted more than that. It would take time, but not long.

Luna waited for Mira to speak, but the silence stretched.  ' Is she going to leave without saying anything?' she worried, before turning to meet Mira's intense gaze.  The intensity of Mira's look made Luna blush, her carefully constructed anger melting away slightly.

Mira didn't speak. She couldn't.  The sight of Luna, slightly disheveled and undeniably beautiful, stole her breath.  She simply stared, her eyes filled with a longing so intense, so utterly sincere, that it melted away the last vestiges of Luna's feigned anger.

' She wants me ' Luna realized, her heart was pounding, she gulped, unsure how to proceed, until Mira took a step closer.  Luna unconsciously moved back, bumping into her desk.

Luna couldn't tear her eyes away from Mira, her earlier anger was already fading.

Mira noticed Luna's awkward stumble and seemed to snap back to reality.

Luna, noticing this, decided to keep the game going.  She set aside the gifts Mira was holding, then put her arms around Mira's neck, pulling her down.  She stared intently at Mira, mirroring Mira's earlier gaze.  Now it's my turn, she thought, a thrill running through her.

Luna squinted her eyes. "You started this. You have to take responsibility," she whispered, kissing Mira.

Mira was instantly lost in Luna's kiss, sensing both anger and longing.  She teared up, feeling a mixture of hurt and guilt.

Luna broke the kiss, looking at Mira's teary eyes.  Hmm, maybe I should tease her a little more, she thought, a playful smirk forming on her lips.

Mira, about to be teased, didn't give Luna the chance.  She felt wronged, but she knew she was also in the wrong.  Still, she wouldn't let Luna keep biting her lip.

Luna was breathing heavily when Mira kissed her back, this kiss full of care and love.  Luna felt Mira's hand on her waist, then slowly moving lower.  Mira pulled back, moving from her lips to her cheeks, then to her ear.  At that point, Luna stopped pretending and gave in completely.

After they'd both calmed down, Mira hugged Luna, who then suddenly pinched her waist.

"Ouch! Why?" Mira asked.

"I'm still a little mad," Luna replied, wanting Mira's explanation.

"Baby, I was careless and neglected you. You know we have that outing planned, right?"

"Yeah."

"And since I'm inviting everyone, I had to prepare and arrange everything so our guests wouldn't be disappointed."

"Then you should have talked to me about it. I could have helped."

"I would have, but you were working overtime. I was worried you wouldn't get any rest if I asked for your help, and it's not like I couldn't manage it on my own."

"Next time, tell me sooner so I can make time. Anyway, is everything done?"

"Yes, thankfully my secretary and assistant are very capable."

"You're not overworking them, are you?"

"Ah? No, ha-ha… I'll give them extra bonuses," Mira said, feeling a little guilty but she promised in her heart that she will give them

Luna smiled helplessly, resting her head on Mira's chest. "I miss you, you know?"

"Me too. I miss you so much. Shall we go home?"

"Too early."

"It should be fine… right?"

"Why?"

"Well…" Mira blushed, avoiding Luna's eyes.

Luna opened her eyes, and quickly understanding Mira's unspoken suggestion.

"No," Luna said firmly.

"But…"

"No buts. Wait until my work hours are over."

"Aren't you… tired?"

"Tired?" Luna asked as she felt she was being provoked again, "I have plenty of energy for another round."

" Ha-ha no, go back to your desk. I'm going to sleep. I'm tired," Mira laugh wryly, knowing that Luna might misunderstood her again and lead to another round of biting
