Emilia, after an hour-long conversation with the Author, went to the bathroom once again to look at herself in the mirror.
She was quite appreciative of her new appearance. Not because she wanted to become a girl, but because she was undeniably pretty. Emilia wore a white Victorian nightgown, making her look pure and majestic. Her golden hair complemented the white perfectly, and her golden eyes shone brightly like stars.
"Not bad. It would've been better if my character was a man, but as they say, beauty is a woman's strength," Emilia muttered to herself.
Despite her appreciation for her appearance, a lingering thought nagged at her mind.
"Wait... If I'm now a woman, does that mean I have to deal with periods and stuff?" Emilia thought. Although she knew how periods worked, she never really understood why girls got so grumpy when they were on one.
"Enough of that. How should I encapsulate my role in the story..." Emilia pondered.
"Should I maybe play the female companion role? Become the protagonist's best friend? Hmm... Maybe the anti-hero role? I'm great at acting, and besides, this body has a great mana pool. I could definitely take anyone on as long as I work on my magic's capabilities."
"Should I become the protagonist's love interes— No. Absolutely not. Why did I even think of that?" Emilia was disgusted by her own thoughts. Being a former man, she couldn't see herself dating in her new body, let alone dating a man.
"Becoming the protagonist's female companion sounds great, though. I could monitor him wisely while interacting with him as a friend. Maybe that could work?"
Still deep in thought, Emilia sat on the toilet seat and instinctively posed like The Thinker.
After a few minutes, she finally found an answer to her question.
"I think I've got it. I'll become the protagonist's..."

AN: What do you think Leo/Emilia's role would be in the story? ?

ig like a friend?
Perhaps a prankster? Heh.
Tftc
Thanks for the chapter. I expected her to become an antihero. I like the duality between helping the protagonist sometimes, but still playing your own game of interest. All this, while appearing to be an unconditional ally of the protagonist.
Great prediction! But of course it wouldn't be too plain and simple like that~
Aw, is love interest really not an option? Well, I guess even then, she wouldn't set out to become that on purpose. So I guess antihero or even temporary villain would be a good start. Either way, loving this story and looking forward to the next part~
Is love interest really not an option?
Well... We'll see~
