Emilia dismissed Alphonso after he read the letter to her. She made her bed and entered the bathroom.

Fortunately, Emilia had adapted to a woman's bathroom etiquette. She no longer found it embarrassing, but it definitely was a hassle, considering she had to dry her hair and comb it for a while.

After tidying herself up, Emilia wore a simple yellow house dress and a pair of white slippers. She went down the stairs and saw that Alphonso had prepared her breakfast.

"Hey, you cooked all of these within just a few minutes? What type of magic is that?" Emilia joked.

"Well, the magic here is that you've actually tidied yourself before eating. That's an incredible feat for you, of course," Alphonso retaliated with a teasing grin.

After being acquainted for just five whole days, they had started to bounce off each other like siblings. Of course, Alphonso was still the butler, but he couldn't help feeling this way about Emilia. The same went for her.

Emilia, who had finished eating, went up to her room before commanding Alphonso to brew her some tea and bring it to her bedroom.

...

"Hey, Author, what was Emilia like before I took her place?" Emilia muttered.

[Well, she wasn't exactly the extroverted type. She was quite kind and generous, but she was always very shy and quiet.]

"I see. Then what was her relationship with her aunt?" Emilia lay down on the couch, talking with the Author back and forth.

[Her aunt always treated her well. She always wrote letters to keep her company when she was out of town. She gave Emilia candy every time she visited the Aventine household. It's been five years since her aunt last visited. And you, as 'Emilia,' must keep up your facade. Don't let anything slip, alright?]

"I got it. Thanks for the info, Gyeoul." Emilia thanked the Author warmly and started reading some books.

[No worries. Anything for my assistant. I'll have to go for now; I'm quite hungry. Be back in a few minutes!]

"Alright, don't take too long..." Emilia replied.

Emilia was reading a book called "The Lich and the Witch." It was about a lich falling in love with a young witch, but in his pursuit of love, the young witch tragically fell into a coma. The lich then embarked on a journey to save his one and only love, facing many challenges along the way.

This book was a timeless classic in the Kingdom of Mersllëin, but to Emilia, it felt too cliché.

Emilia continued to read many other books. Time quickly passed by, and before she knew it, it was already late at night.
