Time to learn about this world you’re in, since your time as the Demon Lord didn’t exactly revolve these sort of things obviously you wouldn’t know or remember them, anyway first off is the currency during this time, there are five type of coins, stone coin, copper coin, silver coin, gold coin and mythrill coin, it’s pretty obvious which one is more valuable so let’s not talk about that, what I’ll talk about is that the higher value coin is tenfold more valuable, so silver coin is ten times more valuable to copper coin, or 10 copper coins equal 1 silver coin, you get the idea right?” Yeah this isn’t exactly an exciting lesson but certainly one that is useful if I were to enter a human society, because of their misinterpretation of vampires there’s pretty much no way they would figure out I was one as long as I didn’t drink blood as such, or thinking I’m a demon or fallen angel rather if I pulled out my wings. “Well somewhat I’d say” I replied.

“Okay, there are six rank for adventurers, there are coal, iron, copper, silver, gold, and mythril rank, from the lowest to highest in that order, of course adventurers do all of kind of request, with things like hunting, escorting, collecting, and some more specific request, you know how this goes, another thing about being an adventurer is how they grant you identification, your guild card is considered one and you can enter the capital city with it, as they need identification to enter… actually I don’t have anything else in particular to add” So in the end there isn’t much to talk about is there.

“I guess we’re done here?” I asked.

“...Yeah, you can go for today, I’ll think up of more topic for you to learn later” She said waving goodbye, even though it’s just for a while and she can visit me whenever.

I’m beat… Mom’s training is extremely intense compared to Kaa-san’s, I’m really not sure how I survived them all, but I certainly did. Anyway right now it’s my free time, no need to train or anything until tomorrow, and I’ll have to do it again and again for who knows how long… now that I think about it I was never really sure about what I’d do, I did always think about going on an adventure and such, but I was never really certain about it… well, perhaps it doesn’t really matter, maybe going on one will give me a goal for myself, but I really shouldn’t try to think about things like that, should just go to sleep and think about this later.

“By the way my precious daughter what do you want your adventuring attire to be like” ...After we just finished practicing magic that’s what she asked?... I never really thought about that… hmmm… maybe something Japanese? This world doesn’t seems to have anything Japanese like at all, at least from the little I see here and from them, so maybe something along that line? Like a samurai aesthetic or something, maybe just a sleeveless coat over regular shirt and pants is enough, I don’t want my attire over complicated. Let’s think about the color then… I mean probably dark blue and black… also white and gold as contrast, yeah, that seems pretty neat.

“I want a dark blue shirt and black pants and dark shoes, along with a sleeveless white coat and golden edges” I said to her.

“Alright, I’ll get that made very soon, so look forward to that, by the way do you want it auto-clean and auto-repair?” Isn’t it obvious?

“Yes” I replied, having clothing enchanted with those two will help tremendously.

“I found him near this place and capture him for your training, sooner or later, regardless of how you’ll live your life, you’ll fight a human sooner or later, and even kill them, so therefore I need to make sure you’re comfortable with it” I see, I mean I was a human before, but now I’m not, and I really don’t feel like I have any special obligation to be nice to them or whatever, be more merciful just because they’re human, really it’s more about not killing them out of habit, I do have a conscience still, so I might feel guilty if I think the human doesn’t deserve it, but right now this guy is an intruder, and we can’t have that. I walk toward this man and Mom drop him down on the ground, seems like he’s unconscious, but that’s fine, conscious or not he’ll die for coming to the forest and being here.

I decapitated him and blood flows out. We don’t need your kind around here… at least, not bastards who can only think of their own race. The blood looks appetizing but I think I’ll pass, I admittedly felt a little uncomfortable killing him off, but certainly not enough to make me hesitate in doing so.

“Well done” Mom said to me and pats my shoulder, then walk to the castle. I’m not sure how she thinks of humans exactly, I know from what Kaa-san tells me is that they fear human, but no outright hatred, they just want to live in peace, and this is their last line most likely, if the humans find this place they’ll have nowhere else to go and they’ll all perish, that’s certainly likely and might happen sooner or later, I’ll be prepared to help them then, can’t let them suffered by such a selfish and blinded group, but I also don’t want to destroy them either, mass genocide isn’t my things, well, not anymore to be specific, I really don’t want to create any enemy in this new world if it's all possible.

Only a single year has passed since then and I already look like a teenager, I have been born into this world for 3 freaking years, it's really scary to think about how those unaware of this condition will think, I mean the [Accelerated Growth] is something that people most likely don't have or know about, they must've been freaking out if they happened to have me as part of their family or something, not that it really mattered at this point, also while I didn't ask her to do so it seems like the clothes still fit me just fine despite how fast I should've grown out of it, must be one of her magic again, well I’m still grateful for it though, would be bad if I have to get new clothes ever so often. Now what the heck are they teaching me this time?

“Not bad, but could've been better” Mom said as she put her blade away.

“Well chances are you won't be fighting someone at our level, so don't fret over it much” Kaa-san said sounding, well, not cold and harsh, though the way she's saying it is like tempting fate or something along that line, don't like the sound of that at all.

“You can take the rest of the day off for today” Mom said as she just walk away… 

“Well, shall I warp you back or are you doing this yourself?” Kaa-san asked.

“Please teleport me back” I said still completely exhausted.

Another year has passed, and I think I hit my growth spurt, I’m way taller than before, like maybe around 175 cm in height? Roughly? I'm taller than Kaa-san now, but a couple centimeters shorter than Mom, she's quite tall for a woman, but so am I, maybe this is one thing I inherited from her? Whatever is the case I’d say I don't look half bad, Kaa-san said my look is a bit more androgynous than outright pretty, not sure how to feel about that to be honest, my clothing doesn't help the matter either, it's rather simplistic and doesn't really meant to look pretty, my hair is tied in a long ponytail, which I’m pretty sure some pretty boy wears, so yeah not exactly completely on the cute pretty side, not that it’ll be an issue anyway, at least I hope not.

“So anyway what do you plan to do after we’re done?” Kaa-san suddenly asked.

“Well… I’d go on an adventure for a while, then maybe come back and help with the situation here, I’ll probably go to where humans are and such, just exploring the world” I replied, that's pretty much the only thing I can think of.

“Well, good luck to you then, I’ll make a guiding map and prepare some funds for you when you leave” Kaa-san said with a smile.

“That’s good to hear” I replied.

“Alright then Maova, from here on out you can do whatever, go on an adventure or whatever it is you want to do, I have already give you all the necessary supplies so there’s no need to worry about anything” Kaa-san said to me, the stuffs she gave me is a map that tell the current location, like a GPS, a pocket watch, a bunch of money, like 100 mythrill coins worth of money, which is like… 35 million yen, at least from what Kaa-san told me after I told her about the currency and about how much she give me, I have no idea where she got this money from and I don’t think I want to know. There are also some containers and bags, some random stuff. There are cooking utensils as well? Even things like a blender. I mean Kaa-san teaches me cooking sometimes when she doesn’t know what to teach at the time but I don’t think a set of it is necessary along with some obviously not if this world tech. Well whatever, not like carrying these will be any problem.

“Yeah, I’ll go on an adventure… maybe tomorrow! Yeah, I’ll go tomorrow. I’ll come back to visit sometime so don’t worry about a thing” I said to them, I’m not sure how much they’ll miss me, and even then they can go after me pretty easily.

“Good to hear” Mom said trying to sound dismissive again, but it’s pretty clear that’s just her habit at work.

“We’ll both send you off tomorrow then, if that’s alright with you” Kaa-san said looking at both of us.

“Certainly, I’ll be there to see her departure” Mom replied in the same calm collected voice as always. If there’s one thing Kaa-san told me is that she can be… quite hot blooded and energetic during certain situations, and that’s really hard to imagined. Well I’m glad they care so much regardless.

“Thank you for being so considerate” I said to both of them.

“There’s no need for thanks” Mom said, I can see a small smile still, Kaa-san meanwhile have a big one on her face.

“Well, what time do you want to leave tomorrow?” Kaa-san asked.

“Probably around 10 AM, I’ll leave then” I said to her.

This is the day for me to leave and began my adventure, both my moms are here to send me off, right now all of us are at the balcony of the castle.

“Maova, regardless of where you go, where you’ll headed, I know with all my heart everything will absolutely be fine… definitely nothing bad will happen and you’ll surely obtain happiness” Kaa-san said so to me, but what’s with that pause?

“She’s right, you’ll be fine, but I pray good fortune for you nonetheless” Mom said, honestly that feels a lot more assuring that what Kaa-san said.

“Anything you want to say before you go?” Kaa-san said in a… surprisingly melancholic tone, didn’t expect that. Something to say huh?...

“...Moms, both of you, I’ll come back soon, I promise, you two will always be close to my heart” I said putting a hand on my chest, saying to them in a calm and caring tone. Both of them smile and look at me gently, it’s a bit out of character, but none of that mattered, as long as they care. I then turn my back on both of them…

“Alright, time for me to go, meet you real soon” I said, giving them a thumbs up.

“See you later Maova! If there’s anything you need, anything you want, or simply a place of solace, you can come back at any time” Kaa-san said to me.
