“Okay then, let’s talk about what happened” Kaa-san started the conversation after Rosia and I walk to the other bedroom here. The librarian is laying down on the bed but still awake and listening, we all each sit down on a chair.

“Where should I start?” I asked no one in particular.

“I would say since the last time I saw you, but keep out anything insignificant out or only mention them briefly” Kaa-san replied.

“Very well…” I take a brief time to compose myself and think about what to say…

“First off, I travel within the forest, destroy a small town, and then went to another town, do some random request as an adventurer, and in the meantime, Rosia stay in the forest for a while, kill a man, and meet up with me a few days later. After we meet up with each other, she says she want her sister back, so I join her and come with her to the capital, and with invitation to teach at the academy her sister is conveniently at, we both went there, mess about in a dungeon for three days, release a golden dragon on the lowest floor, cause an earthquake that almost kill her sister, we get her, her friend, and the librarian out of there to here with [Warp] that I learn specifically to get her sister out of there without much trouble” I explained, hopefully that was short and easy to understand. I need to take a breather.

“I see… interesting… well with that mission done will you go out again or what?” Kaa-san asked not sounding particularly interested, maybe such a thing is too ordinary for her, not that’s there’s any problem from my end.

“Nah, I think I’m done with that for a while, feels way too stressed out after that whole ordeal, need a break” I replied.

“Understandable, and what about you?” Kaa-san asked looking at Rosia.

“I-I’ll stay here by their side” She replied.

“Theirs? Who are they exactly?” Kaa-san asked with a cheeky grin. 

“My sister… and Maova” She responded... Huh? Did I feel a magical reaction just now?

“So much for not being a couple, welcome to the family” Kaa-san said completely tactless in her tone.

““W-What are you implying?”” Both Rosia and I asked.

“It’s obvious isn’t it? You’re both lovers aren’t you?” Kaa-san replied with a grin on her.

“I mean… will she…” I’m not sure what to say here. 

“A-Aren’t we both girls? I-I’m not sure if that’ll work out” Rosia said nervously trying to sound calm, it’s sad that she have that conception, please don’t stick to it.

“Oh you sweet child, it’s naive to think love is constrained by such meaningless thing, be real with me here, how do you feel?” Kaa-san replied still having a smile on her.

“I… there’s a feeling I can’t describe… can that really be call love?” Rosia said. At this point things are getting nowhere, I should say something, I need to steel myself and… wait...

“Hold on, don’t talk about such a sensitive and private topic with a stranger in the room!” I said realizing that the librarian is still here.

“Ah, I’ve already put her to sleep, no need to worry” Kaa-san replied. 

“Oh… good” I commented. So that’s what I was feeling earlier. I let out a huge sigh of relief there.

“Anyway back on the topic, what do you feel? Maova” Kaa-san said directing her gaze at me… there’s no point in hiding it any further, it’s so obvious hiding it won’t do anything.

“I… I-I’ll admit it… I love her” I confessed. Rosia turn her head to look at me looking both shocked and satisfied, she must happy to heard that.

“Glad you own up to it… and you?” Kaa-san said now looking at Rosia.

“I… I reciprocate her feeling as well” Rosia replied somewhat hesitantly. Still, I can tell that her feeling is genuine, if somewhat doubtful of it herself.

“Glad we all agree on that, as one of her mothers you have my blessing” Kaa-san said with smile to Rosia, though this make her more confused than comfortable.

“Mothers?” Rosia confusingly repeated.

“Ah… I was raise by two women you see” I explained.

“And born from two women” Kaa-san added with a smug grin, does she never considered how weird that is?

“Don’t make this more complicated than it needs to be” I responded.

“I’ll just… ignore that. Anyhow, what am I to do in this place?” Rosia asked.

“Whatever you want, just don’t go bothering the others too much I guess. Ah, I have to introduce you to my love as well” Kaa-san replied. Speaking of her where is my other mom?

“Speaking of which, where is she?” I asked.

“She’s… busy at the moment, don’t worry, I’ll go get her later” Kaa-san replied somewhat suspiciously.

“Sureee… well guess I’ll go to my room with Rosia and think of something to do” I said as I stand up. Rosia follow suit.

“Hope you’ll have a fun time” Kaa-san said as we leave the room and went to mine.

…

This place doesn’t change at all, then again it has only been roughly a week.

“This place is massive” Rosia commented.

“Yeah, honestly we couldn’t find a use for it all” I replied.

“Also it’s extremely dark in color” Rosia noted further.

“It’s an old design, none of us have anything to do with it” I said.

…

“Here’s my room” I said as I turn to my right and face the door.

*Open*

Opening the door and go inside, like the room before it have a completely different atmosphere.

“How pleasant looking” Rosia said as she look around.

“Well, let’s sit down and talk” I said beckoned her to sit down of the nearby table. We both sit down and stare at each other… for a while.

“Hah… at this point we really should accept this… but I guess it’s not as easy as saying it” I started. Even if one is more certain about their feeling actually expressing it is not easier at all.

“It really isn’t…” Rosia replied.

“How far would you go with me?” I asked.

“Huh?” She replied confuse.

“If we were to do something… intimate, think you could do it? Without any influence” I have to add that last part since that’s partially why she did whatever she did in my dream.

“I… Would you rather me be blunt about it?” She asked in return.

“You have to say the truth and only the truth” I replied trying to show conviction, it’s hard to stay serious during such a topic and I sure hope she can stay serious about this as well.

“...I-I don’t just do it… but I want to” She said but clearly hesitated. There isn’t any dishonesty in her voice I would say.

“...Would you truly stay with me to the end?” I asked.

“I will” She replied with far less hesitation than the last.

“Glad to hear that” I said with a small smile.

“And what about you? You can’t expect me to love someone who don’t do so back, to devote themselves to, can you say you will stay with me?” She asked in return.

“I certainly will” I said trying to firm my resolve.

“...Will we truly be like a family together?” She asked sounding a bit more emotional.

“Of course” I replied.

“Can I trust to not break the bond we have? To not abandon me?” She asked once more sounding even more emotional… I can’t just sit down and talk, just that isn’t enough. I stand up and walk next to her still sitting down, she look at me somewhat confused, I crouch down so we see face to face, and move closer…

“You can. I cannot do something like that to the one I loved” I said-

*Kiss*

Before I kiss her, mouth-to-mouth.

After a short while I stopped, and look at her once more. Her face red, and look entranced… 

“Is this an action of someone who will do such a thing?” I asked while still staring at her.

“...It’s certainly not” She replied while staring back and reach her hand to my face, cradling it. I smile and she smile back.

…

“Say… if you really want be with me so much… how about we go to our bedroom and… try things out” I said. Can’t believe I’ll say such a thing, I never thought such a thing will ever be said. To think someone like me would find love.

“Can we?” She asked sounding hopeful.

“Why not? There’s nothing stopping us” I replied with a nervous smile, it’s still a topic hard to talk about but I’m trying.

…

“Sure” She replied as she stands up, I did the same and both of us went to my room.

…

Huh… now that I think about it this bed of mine has always been a double bed… did Kaa-san predict I’ll have someone over? There’s no way right?... Let’s stop thinking about that and actually do something that’s meaningful.

Both of us are now together on the bed, with both of taking our coat off first…

“You probably don’t remember how far we goes during that dream” Rosia said.

“I don’t… how about you remind me how it went?” I asked trying to tease her.

“If you insist” She replied with a small grin on her. She close up on me real first and take her shirt off, along with the undergarments… I’m starting to feel heated up and dizzy. She reach her hand to my shirt and forcibly take it off, but before she take my sarashi off I did so myself. She then look at me and stare… 

“Say… how far would you go?” I asked.

“I’m going to finish what I didn’t last time” She replied while stripping her lower body.

“And what is that?” I asked slightly nervous. She then move her head closer to my ears.

“Sticking ‘it’ in” She answered immediately pinning me down and forcibly stripping my lower body as well, she’s going to pull ‘that’ out isn’t she?... She definitely just did, this is gonna get real freaky…

…I think both of us put way too much passion into that… it has been quite exhausting I would say. Rosia’s body resting on top of mine with a smile on her, I can’t say I’ll ever get tired of looking at her… to think someone who used to be a man like me would be the one of the receiving end, the irony is not lost on me, we didn’t exactly have any protection during that engagement, but I don’t think anything would come of it, maybe if it’s many more times than that then maybe.

But enough about that, I think I should get up and tied up some loose end before anything else…

“Hey Rosia, let me go for a bit yeah?” I asked.

“...Fine, but make it quick” She replied. I get up and dressed up again.

*Zoom*

Now where am I?... I think I’m still in the ruined library, so much of it is destroyed with that last second decision by me, doesn’t seem like anyone else is around, which is good since that’ll mean wasting my time getting my hands dirty.

“So he’s not here…” I commented to myself. Maybe everyone that aren’t dead have already evacuated, that would be the most likely scenario. Guess I’ll go somewhere else then.

Whoa, the room is a bit messy isn’t it. The room I rented when staying here. I’ll have to walk out and to the reception, try to not act suspicious in any way…

I walk down and to the receptionist, she looked a bit surprised there.

“A-Ah, sorry I thought you weren’t in your room” The receptionist said.

“No no, that’s a natural assumption considering the quake. Anyhow, I’m here to return the key” I said as I take the room key and put it on the counter.

“Huh? Didn’t you still have one more night here?” She asked.

“There’s something urgent happened unexpectedly so I have to travel out, so I won’t get to use the night here anyway” I explained.

“I-I see… please wait as I-”

“No need to return any money, think of this as charity” I said.

“...Very well” She replied reluctantly.

“Although there’s one thing I would like to request if that’s possible” I said.

“What is it?” She asked.

“I have work part-time at the academy of the nobles and knights, I was planning on resigning today since there’s some urgent business going on, but with the state the academy is in I’m afraid I don’t have a clue to location where the people in charge would be” I explained.

“My apologies but I don’t know the details either” She replied.

“Ah, no worries, but I supposed you can lay the message to them if they ask for me” I said.

“That you were leaving?” She asked.

“Exactly, give them my regards” I said.

“Very well… but where is your partner?” She asked.

“She already left before me, I told her to leave without me and I’ll deal with unfinished business and such” I replied.

“I see, good luck on your journey” She said.

“Thanks” I replied as I walk out.

“Took you long enough” Rosia commented after I found a good place to hide in and teleport back here. She’s still nude and on the bed.

“And I think you should put something on, we’re taking a break from that for a while” I replied

“Fine” She said as she summoned her clothes and quickly put them all on, she sounds a bit frustrated there.

“Say, we should go find my two mothers and properly introduce you to them, we wouldn’t be a family otherwise would we?” I said.

“That’s not a bad idea” She replied. And so we began walking to find the two.

Are they over here in the throne room I wonder… well Kaa-san is here at least along with the librarian. Kaa-san noticed my presence and turn to see me.

“Hey there… did you two have se-”

“Stop that” I quickly shut her down before she say anymore.

“Okay if you insist, anyway what’s up?” She said with amusement. Doesn’t look like Mom is around here.

“Why isn’t Mom here?” I asked.

“What? I’m right here” She jokingly said.

“You know what I mean” I replied not amused at all.

“She’s... busy at the moment, just doing stuff and being responsible” She said not really clarifying anything again.

“And what about her? What are you doing with her?” I asked looking at the librarian.

“She? I’m just taking her and give her a tour around the place is all” She explained.

“I see… while I wouldn’t mind her staying here, I wonder what she could contribute” I said.

“Now that’s a bit rude to say don’t you think? But that’s why I’m giving her a tour, she’ll decide sooner or later” Kaa-san replied.

“I’m not going to be a freeloader to this place I can tell you that” The librarian said. If she’s being a hindrance then I’ll get rid of her personally.

“Good saying… Beleth?” Kaa-san said as if forgetting the librarian’s name. That name sounds quite similar to-

“It’s Belphi” The librarian corrected. Well it’s still somewhat similar… kinda.

“Yeah that. Anyway let’s go, by the way why are you asking where Vermilla is?” Kaa-san said asking me.

“I’m thinking of properly introducing Rosia, she’s part of the family after all” I explained.

“That is true… well after I’m done with her I’ll go get Vermilla, we’ll meet back up at your room okay?” She said.

“Okay” I replied. And then both of them walk off to elsewhere.

“Guess we’ll back to the room then?” Rosia said.

“Yep, let’s go there and wait” I said taking the lead in going back.
