The process to increase your rank with the hunters association was pretty straight forward. You went to the front desk in the association, talked to them about it.

Then a representative would come out, confirm you hit the level requirement for it, then you would get your id updated.

Super easy.

It only takes a few minutes.

So that is what I did. I went to the front desk, they got a representative to help me with it, and I showed them my status.

ANd totally forgot that a few parts of my status were completely strange and would open up for a few questions.

Like, why would I wait 26 levels to rank up. The requirements for D rank was 50.

Or, what's with the large stats in certain places, like my extremely large HP.

But the really important one was the existence of Apotheosis.

And that is how I ended up in Uncle Gideons office again.

“HAHAHAH” he laughed while sitting in front of him. “Seriously, How did none of us think that rank up was going to be an issue with this.”

My parents were called in, as well as Aria and Anthem. They all knew about the strange parts of my status, and uncle gideon told us not to worry about the person who was helping me earlier.

“I’m sorry. I wasn’t really thinking about that. But I do need to rank up at some point” I said, embarrassed that I cause this problem.

“It’s fine. Going forward, I’ll check for you, and submit the paperwork.” Uncle Gideon said. “Just remember not to tell anyone else about this”

“Got it” I tell him.

With that, all of us once again leave his office, a place I am starting to feel much more familiar with.

As we walked back to the elevator, so mom and dad could get back to work, Aria spoke up.

“So, we were going to text you two about this, but I think, and both Anthem and Zenith agree with me, that you two should go out tonight” Aria said. “We know its been a while, so we thought it would be a good idea”

“Oh, are you all sure” mom said, showing concern for me.

“Yeah, you guys deserve the chance to go out” I say.

“I think that's a good idea, right Andrea?” dad said.

“Yeah, if you think everything is going to be fine” Mom said, very intently looking at Anthem.

“Yeah, it will be fine”

The rest of our day was pretty normal. After leaving the association, Anthem Aria and I spent some time together, deciding on what we should do with our day.

We ended up going out and doing some shopping, since there were a few things they all wanted to look at. We ended up also having dinner out, which was the original basis of our plan.

There was a point where we ended up going to an equipment shop for hunters, which was pretty cool.

I never bought equipment, since I literally couldn’t use any, thanks to absolute creation. But seeing what other people use was fun.

One of the biggest advancements was armor that was nearly indistinguishable from normal clothes. A shirt that gave a defense bonus in your stats, or shoes that gave a speed boost.

One of the biggest drawbacks of armor was the clear fantasy look to all of it, so armor like this massively took off once people learned how to make it. I didn’t know the full process, but it was really nice.

I also got a chance to look at weapons in the store as well. I had enough options with the absolute creation, for main weapons that is.

But when it came to things like throwing knives, or things like that, I had no options.

I could literally throw one of the store bought ones, but I wouldn’t get a bonus damage from it.

I was thinking of seeing how much I could get for the angels scyth, but decided against it. I have a few plans for it in the future.

I did learn that if I was ever strapped for cash, I could sell the potions I make in bulk for a lot of money. Even my lower level potions sell for around 10 each, and I can make 780 of them an hour.

After looking at a bunch of equipment, we ended up moving on, and eventually, we ended up back at home.

I was tired from a long day, so I ended up heading up to my room for the night. I didn’t have much left to do, so I started working on some things.

Firstly, I made 3 of the masterwork hp potions, the most I could make with the amount of mp I currently have.

Until I make it to 10,000 mp it's the best I can do.

I really need to learn from my mistakes, so make sure I have potions to spare.

I also needed to plan for the first D rank dungeon I was going to go to.

After a quick check online, I found a skeletons catacombs that seemed right for me.

Its minimum level was 50, so it was the lowest D rank, and it was pretty close to home. The monsters seemed to be undead mostly, so I would also have an easy time thanks to light magic.

While I was checking all of this, I did end up getting a text.

I had been texting with both Mia and Nyx a little. I still wasn’t sure how I should handle Mia, but Nyx and I talked a decent bit.

And she was the one who texted me.

‘Hey, Zenith, I was wondering if you wanted to go hunting together, if you were ready?’

I responded quickly, finally ready to hunt with her, but with what could be bad news for her.

‘Actually, I was going to start D rank dungeons tomorrow. I’m sorry, but I kind of leveled up quickly once I got past my first goal’ I texted her.

I felt bad about that. I agreed to hunt with her, but then moved on super quickly, partly thanks to the hidden dungeon.

But I got a text back from her quickly.

‘That's fine, I got to D rank as well. Just send me the dungeon and we can party together’

I then felt bad that I totally neglected that she could also level up while I was being a shut in.

How self-centered.

“Wait, it should take a lot longer than that to be a D rank. Its normally like 3 months to get to level 50”

But while I was thinking about that, I heard a competition from downstairs.

THinking it was possible that Aria and Anthem were fighting about something, I went downstairs to stop them.

Only to find mom and dad falling over themselves drunk getting home.

“Sorry guys, but I am not as think as you drunk I am” dad said, in a very slurred tone.

And seeing them like this made me happy. After all of the problems I must have caused for them over the last few weeks, life for my family is finally getting back to normal.
