Okay so a lot has happened in the last couple days ranging from terrific to terrifying. Actually no, pretty much all of it has been pretty terrifying, but some of it has been terrifying in a good way?

Anyway.

I’ve asked around a bit to see if any of my classmates have been noticing the same things as I have or if I’ve just gone completely insane. The good news is that I have company in my crazy town! The bad news is that most of the class is firmly in the “not crazy’ category.

Most of them. There is this one girl named Mab who seems to have had a similar experience to my own. Creepy teachers. Weird dreams. The whole deal.

I think she was just a little more desperate for someone to share the experience with, actually, though she did a better job hiding it. The look on her face when I first brought it up...well, let’s just say I’m glad I did it somewhere private. She practically jumped on me by the time we were done talking. Looking back, I can really relate though. Now that I have Mab there to help sort this stuff out it suddenly feels about a billion times more manageable.

Speaking of, one of the places both Mab and I checked looking for some freaking answers was the student council. It could have gone better. Not that it went terrible either. I mean at the very least I don’t think we alienated ourselves, but we didn’t really walk away feeling like we had accomplished much either.

The council was in the weird place between the teachers, the other students and Mab and I. They didn’t come off as unnatural like the teachers and they somehow seemed more aware of the school than most of my classmates (maybe it comes with the territory of being on the council?) but at the same time they were clearly not dealing with the weirdness that we are handling. I’m not even sure whether they were unaware of the weirdness or if they just didn’t care about it. At the very least they seem to agree that some the teachers a little weird, but more wearing bunny ears weird than stepford smiling weird.

Last of all, I finally met the Principle today. Well, sort of. I ran into her as I was leaving the student council room with Mab. I guess she visits there a lot? Anyway, now that I’ve seen her feel even more certain that I’ve met her before, but I still can’t quite place my finger on it. She had this frizzy red hair and has that tall and thin body type with cute glasses. She has one of those faces where you can’t tell if she’s 20 or 50. Sort of ageless, although presumably she’s closer to the later than the former considering she’s the freaking principle.

But then the most creepy part happened. When I mentioned to Mab that I thought I recognized her but I couldn’t recall from where, Mab got this terrible look on her face that was sort of sad and afraid at the same time. She wouldn’t tell me what was wrong, either. She just hugged me and, I think, tried to keep herself from crying for a while. By the time we left she seemed to be better, but she just wouldn’t tell me what was wrong in the first place.

I’m really worried about her and I want to help if I can.
