Yuri hated uniforms. That he was wearing a girl’s uniform was only that much worse.

This particular uniform was intended to keep him hidden within the student body of Venus Cloacina while he was among them. He also covered his natural brown hair with a large red wig and covered his legs with black tights that his any stray leg hairs. Yuri’s arms had fortunately always been pretty sparse in that department, otherwise he may have had to shave them as well.

Even with the precautions, the human expected the disguise would not hold under the extended scrutiny of a Demon. Fortunately, most of this place’s population weren’t true demons. As for the demons themselves, half didn’t care enough to take that close look in the first place.

It was the Demons dressed as other students he needed to watch out for. They stood out well enough. They had invariably modified their uniforms and the difference in presence was evident. But they looked just close enough to the demi-humans to keep Yuri on edge. At least he wasn’t getting blown up here, but the sooner he was out of this place, the better.

Yuri’s meeting point was the school library. Well, a school Library. The School Library was so large and labyrinthine that it would be an adventure in itself - someone else’s adventure of Yuri had any say in it. He had quite enough for himself already.

“Do you have the goods?”

The voice came from the other side of the bookshelf, through a gap in the collection.

“I hope you appreciate just how much of a hassle it was for me to get these things.”

“Is that a ‘yes’ or a ‘but’?”

With a sigh, Yuri pulled out the package - Principia body pillow sleeves and a couple other related memorabilia - and slid it through the bookshelf. Why she wanted this stuff, he would never know. At least it was pretty obvious why she needed him to help get it. So much the better that they had a working business relationship, odd though it was.

“Squee! It is everything I ever imagined!”

“Not to rush you, but the sooner I can get out of here, the happier I’ll be.”

“Oh, that reminds me,” the demon said with glee momentarily put aside. “Deus is on the lookout for you. She heard that Dai-Sensei has been having trouble with you and wants to steal his thunder by nabbing you herself.”

Deus? Veneralia. Demon Lords have too many names.

“All the more reason to wrap things up quickly. We should find a different meeting spot if security is going to be an issue.”

“Oh you’re no fun.” A hand stuck through the gap with healthy, wood-brown skin. Flecks of a woody red were just visible from beneath. The hand held a 3-ring binder filled with neatly printed paper. Part of a growing collection of dossiers on demons, tribes and politics. “That one’s on the Tengu, mostly. My advice is to pay particular attention to the matriarch named Crow and her granddaughter Raven. Both of them might be into things of particular interest to you.”

“Thanks” said Yuri, meaning it. “That’s some pretty useful information.”

“You’d have figured it out eventually yourself. This just saves a little time. Besides, you’ve earned a little bonus with this last shipment!”

He couldn’t be certain, but Yuri thought he heard something about ‘Sierra’ and ‘Waifus’ on his way out of the building.
