[The next 6 following options are possible evolving equipment that the host can pick 1 from. They are:

  1. Sword
  2. Gun
  3. Necklace
  4. Ring
  5. A pair of boots
  6. Spear

Which will you choose?]

“Before I decide, can you tell me what an evolving equipment is. An evolving ability is self explanatory but what the fuck is an evolving equipment”

[An evolving equipment is an equipment that will grow and evolve to get stronger. Unlike with an evolving ability that gets stronger and evolves with its use by the user, an evolving equipment evolves not only by its use by the user but also how it is treated by the user. A sword that is used to protect would grow more durable to protect while a sword to kill would get sharper but no matter what direction it evolves it would always get stronger. An evolving equipment could also absorb another piece of equipment of the same type to gain its materials abilities, and functions. It could also absorb materials to make to change the material of the weapon.]

“Thats cool, and unlike my previous choice this one is way easier to choose. I pick a katana.. I mean a sword” (Got a little bit too excited there. I can’t remember why but it seems I loved swords specifically katanas in the past huh.)

[Understood, number 1007532, your chosen equipment will arrive shortly. After this comes the equipment you will receive for this mission]

As the system finished its words a bright light appeared on the bed that Quan had been sitting on. As the lightly slowly faded, what appeared in front of was a sword in the shape of a katana.

“Oh hell yea (I guess the system could be nice sometimes, its actually giving me the type of sword I want...) What the fuck is this”

With the final bits of light vanishing into the darkness, what appeared before Uquan was a wooden katana.

“A wooden one are you serious I can't kill shit with this especially ghouls.”

[Though its current form is weak, it will grow with more use and absorption from materials and other forms of equipment. Now it is time for your to receive the equipment for this mission. Before they could be given, you need to make another decision. Will you join the Ghouls or the CCG]

“Argh, more decisions you serious, I’d rather be fighting even with how unequipped I am”

[If you want, you are allowed to not receive the equipment. As number 1007532 does not want the equipment, they shall be renounced in 3.., 2..]

“STOP, Stop, Stop, Stop, Stop, Stop, Stop. Stop right there I do not wish to renounce my equipment”

[Understood, then shall host decide to choose the Ghouls or the CCG]

“Well I pretty much understand what the Ghouls are (probably groups made of only ghouls. It makes sense for them to be outcasted as they eat humans. I dont think its even a question that they are probably hated and are even hunted by humans but what are the CCG), but system what are the CCG”

[The CCG or also known as the Commision of Counter Ghoul and they are the human force that fights against ghouls to protect normal humans.]

“WHAT, humans could fight against ghouls, I was thinking the guns probably won't hurt them too much. I guess humans are much stronger than I thought they were”

[Humans are strong but even though they do have high physical specs, it is no where near the power of other ghouls, especially because of the existence of kagune and kakuja (a kakuja is an stronger and more powerful version of a kagune that is formed by a ghoul who eats other ghouls). The kagune are weapons are stronger than steel and to stronger ghouls, their kagune is strong enough to even survive multiple explosions. To fight such beings, the CCG had created a weapon called a quinque. A quinque is a weapon made from the kagune of a ghoul.]

“Oh cool (fuck even though ghouls aren’t human they should still resemble them right but these people are willing to experiment with them. Fuck me) well this isn’t a hard decision. I choose the ...”
