Description:

The Mage Class is the Beginner-tier class of the Magician line, which allows early access to magic.

This class provides all the necessary skills to use magic at a basic level and it also helps to build the magic formulas to a certain level. This support does not add to the Class owner's talent in constructing magic formulas, so either the Class owner's raw talent or the Class' support will be used, depending on what's greatest.

Gust's comment: Not at all. While the Element Mage classes have a higher level of support, they still cannot deploy magic spells unlocked when the skills reach Lv.30 or spells of similar difficulty.
