The followers stared at Yue in silence as he finished some of his urgent duties in preparation for him entering the dungeon. He had foreseen one appearing near the Vietnamese border within a few days so he had hurried up a little.

 

The followers were staring because Yue was sitting on Viktor’s lap as he did this.

 

Even Viktor seemed pretty surprised, and a little embarrassed, by it.

 

“Why?” Viktor asked quietly, wrapping his arms around Yue’s waist.

 

“Why what?” Yue asked nonchalantly as he wrote.

 

“…nevermind…” Viktor murmured and hugged Yue’s waist a bit more tightly.

Yue ended up even bringing his work into the bedroom, more and more hidden jobs kept popping up now that he was telling the followers that he didn’t know how long he would be gone. He didn’t complain though, he’d prefer not to leave any loose ends if he leaves for 10 years. He knew the temple could run without him but he still worried.

 

Viktor had helped him a bit but there was a point where the Chinese characters just blurred together and he became confused. He could probably figure it out if he focused more but with everything else that was running through his head he preferred to take a break and stare at his fiancé.

 

Yue was always breathtaking in his eyes but somehow he’d noticed that lately, Yue seemed even more beautiful. Other people seemed to notice it too and it made Viktor curious. 

 

“When you were gone I briefly went to Austria.” Yue suddenly said.

 

“Huh? To do what?” Viktor asked.

 

“To meet Aethen, I wanted to learn something from him,” Yue said and packed up his work, deciding he’d done enough for the day.

 

Viktor tilted his head a little, confused.

 

“I originally asked him to teach me how a true dragon fights but he told me there was no point in learning that since other dragons didn’t look like my dragon form, and that I would probably never fight another dragon again so it wouldn’t be of use to me,” Yue explained as he got up from the bed and put the papers on his desk somewhere.

 

“Oh…”

 

“He told me that I should just work to figure out how ‘Azure Dragon’ should fight.” Yue explained, “I’m not sure how to figure that out yet, especially since I can’t meet with my master and ask him…so I asked him to teach me his special skill.”

 

“Huh? You could learn it? I tried and failed miserably.” 

 

It was Yue’s turn to be surprised and Viktor remembered that he hadn’t mentioned it before.

 

“When you were asleep in Austria I went and asked him to teach me but it turns out I have no affinity for it..” Viktor murmured.

 

Yue was surprised that Viktor failed and wondered if it was because he wasn’t a dragon.

 

“Now it makes sense how you suddenly got so much stronger, you used the skill to slow down time while you cultivated, didn’t you?” Viktor asked as Yue walked back over to the bed.

 

Yue nodded and plopped himself down right beside Viktor.

 

“That skill is useful…I’m even more upset that I couldn’t get it now….” Viktor sighed and slid his arms around Yue.

 

Yue seemed like he was going to say something else as he wrapped his arms around Viktor as well but Viktor suddenly had a burning question.

 

“Can I still not see your dragon form?” He asked, letting Yue see his puppy eyes.

 

Yue was puzzled by the sudden question until he processed it and quickly shook his head.

 

“Why nooooot?” Viktor whined childishly.

 

“Because it’s embarrassing,” Yue murmured, turning around so he didn’t have to look at Viktor while his face turned red.

 

“Why? I’ve seen every other embarrassing part.” Viktor teased and kissed Yue’s neck.

 

Yue shivered a little, that comment somehow made him less embarrassed and more embarrassed at the same time….

 

It had been a while since they…

 

“It has been a while…” Viktor whispered as if he was reading Yue’s mind.

 

Yue preferred the topic of sex much more than the topic of his dragon form so his mood brightened up (as did his cheeks) as Viktor slipped his hands into his Hanfu.

 

Yue turned his head back to face Viktor with a little embarrassed smile.

 

“Naughty.” Yue murmured and Viktor just chuckled and kissed him.

“I don’t see how this could be less embarrassing than showing me your dragon form,” Viktor murmured as he marked up Yue’s inner thighs with his bite marks, purposely avoiding Yue’s length as he licked and sucked.

 

Yue whined a bit in response to his verbal—and oral—teasing.

 

“I’ll show it to you eventually…just please…” Yue moaned, giving in a little.

 

Viktor seemed pleased with that decision and finally gave Yue part of what he wanted. Yue threw his head back when Viktor licked him and moaned loudly. Viktor was very pleased as he listened but he cut his work short and kissed Yue as he pulled their hips closer together.

 

Yue wrapped his arms around Viktor’s neck and kissed back, he was glad it wasn’t awkward. He was worried that their interactions would be more awkward after being away from each other but he found comfort in still being able to do things like these without hesitation.

“If it shows up today I’m going to…” Yue said and glared at Viktor. His waist wasn’t doing well after the night before and Viktor’s pleased expression was not helping him be less upset about it.

 

“Sorry…” Viktor apologized with a cheeky smile and kissed Yue’s forehead.

 

“Hmph…” Yue huffed and focused on his work while Viktor tried to—innocently—massage Yue’s waist to help him feel better.  His intentions weren’t originally pure but Yue seemed determined to finish his work so he let his libido rest for his sake.
