Amelia with her head down shyly got into the bed with me. I could feel my heart beating fast. I moved aside to give space to her but she ended up to my side more. She locked her arm with mine and rested her head on my shoulder.

"What are you doing?" I asked turning my head.

"Just trying to act lovey dovey with my Master," she giggled nervously.

The next morning I was sitting in the dining room having breakfast. There was some kind of pork dish with bread it looked somewhat luxurious according to the standard of the village. I guess they are not holding back to treat their savior well.

"I haven't formally introduced my self yet. I am Lyla Lockwood and this is my daughter Myra Lockwood," milf blondie said with a smile.

I put my hand on her hand and said "Don't worry my judgment is good, I know you are the correct person for this task, and don't worry about villagers I will convince them personally," causing her face to turn beet red.

Later villagers were gathered in open ground, I think this is usually where important announcements are made. I was standing with Lyla, Myra, and Amelia with a large crowd in front of me.

"I have gathered you all here to tell you one thing. This village is under my protection now and you will have to accept me as your lord," I cut to the chase.

"But this will be the straight rebellion to the kingdom," one guy in crowd said.

"Yes, it'll be rebellion, we are already part of 'Kingdom of Glacia'," another guy said.

People started to discuss among them some were supported and some were hesitant. I just needed to pressure them further.

"Your kingdom is already torn apart due to civil war. It was your own baron that attacked the village and tried to massacre everyone. In my protection I won't let this village suffer this kind of disaster again," I said in pragmatic tone.

"He's right he is the one who saved us. He is powerful mage worthy of our loyalty," one guy on crowd said.

Everybody started to cheer for me. Now there was one last thing I needed to deal with.

"Lyla Lockwood will be the acting chief in my absence and you will follow her commands as if it were mine, and you will assist her in all village matters, I pointed at old man York.

I have only known her for a day but my judgment of character is good and she is the best candidate for the village chief. I would have selected Myra but I have other plans for her.

"If you have any complain take it to my companion," I said aggressively.

Amelia gave a crowd an icy stare that they didn't dare to object.

Those guys didn't fear me that much but they have seen Amelia in action, like how with every single step and swing a soldier died causing to have her fear deep in their heart.

"No, no we don't have any objection, everything will be done as lord wishes," old man York said with beads of sweat on his face.

Now that settled almost everything, now I need to do some final preparation before leaving for the nearest city.
