With a week and a bit at most left before Styx have no time to stop the demon lords, they have all moved into the nearby forest to train.

They are aware that the spiritual energy of the demon lords is only a warning and anything that enters within that area with malicious intent will most likely be killed by the lords of Spajainia with no mercy.

Kami had used a wish to ask Asura the fastest way to level up their spiritual power to fight the demons and her answer was a simple one. Every member had extreme control over their power, the only thing they can do in the short amount of time they have is create new skills and hide their power in their bodies.

Since they have so much power they excrete it regularly since their body struggles to contain it all. The fastest way for them to get stronger is make it possible for their bodies to hold in their power.

"Okay is that all we need to do?" Lynx asked "There is no way something as simple as that will make us stronger"

Kami looked at Lynx and chuckled

"Even I tried it thinking it was easy and failed almost instantly" Kami responded

Liliana stared at Kami whilst frowning. Everyone knew his power but she had a rebuttal.

"That's only because your power is too great. We both absorbed half of the aura pool yet you and I can barely scale. To you it would be hard but to us it would be easy" Liliana responded

"No. It is like belittling someone who is lighter than you for being able to do a hard exercise skill that you can't. That is there bodyweight so the weight you feel attempting that skill will feel the same to them when they attempt it" Kami explained

They all agreed that this was true since someone with a light bodyweight would find that to be heavy since that is the body they have always had and have never held any force above or equivalent.

Kami got them all to sit down and form a circle. They crossed their legs and began forcing their power within them. It swirled around their body whilst it was slowly pushed in. They all began to sweat as they felt their spiritual reserves tear from the power. Although they all had different amounts of power, like Kami said they all felt the same amount of pain as their spiritual reserves felt like they were going to explode. It didn't even take ten minutes before they all dropped out one at a time. Kami held it for the longest.

"Do you see now? The power aspect isn't the only benefit we will reap, since we aren't as strong a covert operation is the best solution. If we can hold in our power we will seem like a normal human to the demons and their guards won't be raised when we enter Bax" Kami explained

"That was hard but I didn't expect it to have a double use" Pyria voiced

"True but now we are empty and feel weak. Our spiritual reserves cracked and if we continue it will burst" Lynx sighed

"There is something else we can do to speed up the training" Kami expressed

The others now looked at Kami with surprise. They never expected there to be a shortcut to the harsh training they were undergoing that made it feel like they were being mutilated.

"Though it doesn't reduce the pain it will speed up training" Kami began "Spiritual power can be compared to the muscles of the physical body. How do you make muscles bigger and stronger?"

"You tear them" Tama responded

"Exactly, and that is what we just did but the difference between spiritual and physical 'muscles' is that we can completely destroy the spiritual ones with no drawbacks as long as we have bandages" Kami explained

"You mean completely destroy our spiritual reserves? We would die!" Pyria gasped "You want to kill us?!"

"Do you have no faith in Kami pyria?" Liliana responded

Pyria shut up since she did trust Kami.

"We draw spiritual power from our bodies but when we increase our strength we actually take it externally from the surroundings and by enlarging our spiritual reserves. If we draw in enough external power and blanket it around our reserves, when it pops it will act like a secondary reserve whilst our real ones heal and if we push huge amounts of external power in as well we can boost our strength even further" Kami explained whilst drawing pictures in the dirt with a stick

"I'm guessing there are still drawbacks" Tama deduced

"Only if you mess up. If you do death awaits. The hardest part is actually managing to control the external power and then holding it around your spiritual reserves for long enough until it heals"

Everyone was slightly shaken up by the prospect of death whilst training. The atmosphere was bland and everyone was silent.

"Oh, not too bad then" Liliana admitted "I mean if we die it just means we weren't skilled enough to begin with so we would've died to the sins anyway"

The rest realised that if they did die then Liliana was right and they are failures so they thought they should at least try.

"I'm in!" Lynx, Pyria and Tama said

Great. The stress from what we did today was heavy on all of us since it was everyone but mines first time so let's rest and continue tomorrow" Kami decided

The rest agreed and separated finding a tree to sleep in since they had no equipment. They had hoped that the sins would've been eliminated by now but after Leviathan and their fear at the entrance of Bax they now know that was wishful thinking.

Colt had been dragged before Lushan by Behemoth. Lushan sat on his throne bored with Asmodeus and Beelzebub on either side of him looking at Colt maliciously.

"Chaos, why have you brought this human here. Is he a snack you found?" Lushan sighed "I'm not hungry"

"No listen. This man is an enemy of Kami. He says he is willing to support you in anyway he can but in exchange w-" Behemoth tried

"Exchange? Yes, demons do deals but not for free. Even if it was the despicable man that cast me down here instead of Kami, you would still offer your soul for anything from me" Lushan bellowed
