Xing was in her realm. With over a hundred Demi-god 10th realms now on standby, she was quite confident in taking down this Divine Dragon Society.

“Liu Mingshan, I can’t always favor you. For this one, you don’t have to protect me.”

“As you wish, Master Xing!”

“Bai Mingwu.”

“Yes!”

“Step forward.” From the ranks, people gave way for Bai Mingwu to appear before the rest. She got in front of Xing, kneeled and saluted.

“I am here at your command.”

“I will need you to carry me there, to the Divine Dragon Society. You know where it’s located, so you will be my guide. Once there, I won’t need you to protect me; even if all of you come at me right now, I will only feel a tingle. Rather, I’ll make them feel despair and hopelessness. Once their spirits are broken, I will signal to all of you to leave my realm and form an encirclement on the Divine Dragon Society, so none will escape. Feel free to release your pressure, just make sure it doesn’t kill anyone. When I’ve got them to submit, I will then consider our mission a success. Is everyone clear of their role?”

““Yes!””

“We’re not here to outright exterminate them. We’re here to break their spirit, make them feel helpless, then see that we’re the only option they have to keep existing, an option that’s lucrative and one that can’t be refused. Yesterday’s enemies will become today’s allies.”

““Yes, Master Xing!””

“We’re doing a good act. No violence, no pain. Just a little bit of convincing. Remember; we avoid killing when we can. Every life is precious; even mortals. Who knows? Someone who’s mortal today could become your comrade-in-arms in a few days, months, or years? It all depends on my whim.”

““Understood, Master Xing!””

“Well, I’ll take time to teach you all my philosophy and the tenets I adhere to. For now, we have a society to say hello to. Everyone, get ready. We’re going to start this.”

““Yes!!”

Xing was being carried by Bai Mingwu in the sky, flying at great speed. She could teleport there, however Xing stated she wanted to take in the view of the world around. They quickly passed by mountain ranges and valleys, plains, forests and hills. Even lakes and inland seas were sped past. All the while, she could see signs of habitation of people: from small villages to sprawling cities with large pagodas and buildings. Nothing escaped her sights.

From time to time, some people fly up and try to intercept them, only to be left in the dust by the speed Bai Mingwu is going. Even what seemed to be Primordial Spirits and Demi-gods teleporting in front of them were ignored.

“We seem to be passing through a lot of territories.”

“Yes, Master Xing. Many sects take control of vast regions to consolidate their power, even adopting towns, cities, or even nations under them, all for the sake of resources for cultivation.”

“I see. We definitely don’t need to do that for that reason. However it would be good if we can indeed bring nations under our influence, just to protect them and let them flourish under us.”

“As you wish, Master Xing.”

“Still, it’s nice to see that people are going strong, despite cultivators appearing en mass and basically strutting themselves around.”

“There’s rules to these places after all, and many are guarded by strong cultivators themselves. Their rulers are also cultivators, so they are watched over by people with real power.”

“I see.”

“Like what you envision doing, owning territory makes a sect, a kingdom, or an empire have to look out for the well-being of their populace. Exceptions are those of evil sects and nations; then those populations are ruled by coercion and force.”

“Still…that doesn’t sound any different from what I do. I did coerce and force you all.”

“Master Xing, we were all willing in the end. You showed clear cut benefits, benefits that far outweigh the concepts of past loyalties and pride. You’ve made promises that you could keep; me having a body now and reaching a realm of cultivation far higher than I have achieved in my past life is proof of that.”

“I see. That’s good to hear.”

“Master Xing…we’re about to go above the ocean now.”

Soon enough, the duo had left the land beneath them and are now surrounded by sprawling ocean. Quickly behind them, land had vanished into the horizon and they were now truly surrounded by sea.

“The ocean is vast. How long do flying ships take on average crossing the ocean?”

“On average, crossing to the nearest continent from our Bladesky continent, which is the Torrentsky continent, would take a week and a half.”

“And where are we headed?”

“We’re headed to the Leafstar continent, which is on a different cluster of continents than our ‘Sky’ cluster.”

“How many continents are in the ‘Sky’ cluster and how many are in the ‘Star’ cluster?”

“Both of these have five continents each.” The wind whizzes past them at breakneck speed, as when she flies, Bai Mingwu is causing a vapor cone to form. The reason these two are able to have a conversation is due to the qi shielding the both of them from the pressure of the wind as it passes by.

“So…how long do you think it’ll take for us to get there?”

“Not too long. An hour or so at our speed. You want me to go faster?”

“No…this is enough for now. Don’t need to stress you further than is necessary.”

“It’s no stress at all.”

“If you say so…then go ahead and speed up.”

“Yes!”

An hour had passed. During this time, they had passed by two continents. One of which was the Desertsky continent, which was mostly dominated by deserts and volcanic activity. The other was the Oceanstar continent, which was dominated by rivers and inland seas. Soon they came across one more continent, the continent they were aiming for.

“Welcome to the Leafstar continent.”

“It looks green… A lot green.”

“It’s blessed by wood qi of the five elements, which allows for lots of plants to thrive. So you will see a lot of forests and jungles here.”

“Where is the Divine Dragon Society?”

“Just on the yonder. It’s located next to a lake surrounded by a temperate forest. It’s a bit deeper into the continent; it’s quite vast so you’ll recognize it immediately.”

Xing nodded. They continued on. Soon, they came across a vast complex with a lot of buildings, pagodas, and pavilions.

“That them?”

“Yes, that’s them.”

“Good. Land at the center. Make as big a crater as you can.”

“Okay, Master Xing.”

A bit of a short chapter this time. It could've been longer, but it would make it two chapter's worth of a chapter if I did, so I cut it. Anyways, it's time for Xing to take on the Divine Dragon Society! How much chaos is she going to create?
