“What in the world… what is with these oddballs stats, nothing looks normal here, what is this Chains of Almora? What is this Gift of Chaos?”

[Summarising]

[Chains of Almora]

Having been summoned into this plane your influence on the world will affect the flow of fate significantly. Usually heroes who are summoned will gain the blessing of Almora and receive 500% EXP gains to speeden their growth in the coming calamity, however your very existence is an affront to the goddess of order, Almora itself and you have gained her curse. The Chains of Almora suppress your obscene growth, the world will tremble if you release your untapped power. You currently require ten times the EXP required of others

“Fuck! What did I do to deserve this?” I couldn’t help but curse, I killed 2 people higher level than me by a fair margin - I would’ve leveled multiple times by now, on top of that the exp required is still absurdly high at a whooping value of 500 at level 1.

[Dungeon Masters are all unique beings who inherently stronger and have almost infinite lifespan - the world combats such power beings by putting an additional x10 exp required to affect balance]

“Well I’ll be damned it just gets worse.”

[You have received the notice from the Lord of Chaos Nyarlorn]

“Listen buddy! Your will to survive is admirable and your struggle has entertained me somewhat. In the daily struggle between us greater beings you have truly lost out. But fear not, I the gracious lord of chaos, Nyarlorn, have bestowed upon you with good graces my blessing. That bitch Almora thinks that if she erases you from existence then things will be hunky dory, you’ll probably find a lot of adventurers after you in the future, but you’ll find that you can turn these guys into walking exp bags of good fortunes. Hehehe! What? Do you think I sound shady? You better listen up - A world with only order is practically like living in a cage, you’ll be practically a slave. There has to be balance for there to be progression. If you have to walk a path over the top of a thousand corpses to progress will you regret it?”

“PS You’re not the type to solo battle people. You’ll be stronger than a few but you’re not exactly a raid boss that can ignore the attacks of humanity. Anyhow work well to administrate the creatures under your control and take care of ‘Crimson-chan’. If not I’ll pummel you in the underworld.”

Oooi! Is this really the lord of chaos? Someone with such a dandy attitude, who reeks of the strange uncle vibe is one of the supreme beings in this world?!

“Hey speak for yourself, nonchalant schemer.”

Ahh it really is embarrassing to be called out like that though. Please let me off to check that gift of yours.

Those deemed as enemies within your dungeon when killed by your subordinates net you a fraction of the exp. Dungeons masters enjoy this feature but yours will be to a greater degree. As long as you have a fair share of enemies then you will have a fair share of benefits. The exp portion is equal to 10% of the original exp gain upon killing the enemy. This is not negated from the portion of exp earned and is double of what other dungeon masters get but that's not all. Due to your high synchronicity with the core - your learning speed is far greater! Imagine having two geniuses pick apart the enemy's techniques and learning them. Even if you are suppressed, given enough time you will be the strongest within your level and break past barriers with your skillfulness alone.

“Wow not bad Mr Nyarlorn, I regret doubting you.”

I better calm myself and get back to my usual self. No more jokes. I have to know myself and know my enemies to stay undefeated within a hundred battles.

I hope I can get a further summary rather than searching on the meaning of everything.

[Summarising]

[The unnamed character is an abnormal existence, neither classified as too strong or weak. The advantages and disadvantages can be seen throughout. In comparison to other humans he is a freak, but in comparison to other dominion masters he is not exceptionally strong.

It is true with his buffs that his great strength allows him to shine but this requires time and dominion masters or regulators as we called them are at their weakest. After birth they sport a high 30% mortality rate within the first two years. Within the next decade a further number will fall and disappear in the annals of history. We can’t exactly compare you to humanity’s heroes, you are after all a pseudo-human.]

“What?” The information being crammed in my brain just confused me even more. I’m not considered human?!

[The unnamed character, a traveller from Earth which has powerful denizens that become greatly weakened after their void shift has Low Hit Points but that is covered up by the enormous Dominion Master Vitality buff , a great 1.7 times base scaling.

His mana points are abnormally high without any modifier even great archdemons would be left wanting after comparing their base reserves - that is of course if you were to compare them at level 1. It’s still quite an achievement though considering the child dungeon core currently has 300 mana and has a duty of regulating the whole dominion.

The users STR and END are within normal parameters and AGI stat is above average perhaps allowing for growth as a thief! You won’t steal any hearts away though with that atrocious LCK stat, are you really a hero? Oh you’re not you’re an antihero protagonist, that’s understandable then, good job. At least it's not too bad, your INT is quite satisfactory and your RES is remarkable - you’re practically a shell bot.]

“A fair observation, but I can’t help but feel offended somehow. Why is everyone I know so far such weird characters? The only one normal is the Kobold,”

I can’t help but lightly frown as I thought about this. Even I’ve got an abnormal personality.

[The character’s <<Sphere of Influence>> skill is a skill which allows for various senses and commands. The field of scope includes the entire established dominion range but is minimized to a range determined by the users int stat outside the scope of his domain.

Currently the user will sense all enemies and allies within 46 meters, analyse and be able to provide commands to allies. The level of the analysis ability is determined by both level and int stat, a bonus will occur within the dominion field but will not apply outside it.]

[The <<Dominion’s Eye>> ability allows you to imagine a field of view real time, it’s practically the equivalent of your big brother tv show back in your original world.]

[The <<Assimilation>> skill is honestly an extremely rare skill! Paired with the learning ability provided by Gift of Chaos you are able to absorb a great deal of information and master abilities like stealing candy from a baby. It’s that easy! To avoid the pursuit of Almora, you split your soul in half almost cultivating a new being - your real physical body has long been destroyed after Almora’s meddling but she was unable to remove your entire existence. She was able to curse you still though. You were able to process your previous memories with this assimilation skill. If you think about it you could use this ability to soul search your enemies and get more information on the outside world]

“Ooooh so it’s like that! That’s pretty cool. It’s bummer though I practically had to kill myself just to live and copy and paste my memories across.”

I note to myself. There seems to be that kid from before. Maybe I can soul search him later and get my values worth out of him.

[There are various other skills that have been inherited but have been left out to clean up the skill board - Would you like to examine daily record logs?]

“Indeed lets see what I’ve earned today, it’s like they say ‘Know thyself and know thy inventory’.”

Great! It’s not like I’ve received a whole bunch of stuff but at least the good old system is spinning it off well. It’s practically rags to ric...better rags I guess. *

Author Note:

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Sun Tzu, The Art of War
