Not wasting time, Rilden gathered Elarose, Audfrey, Astrid, Sibbe, Ozi, and the nymph sisters for tea and snacks, wanting to copy their bloodline skills.
"You have a bloodline skill that can copy other bloodline skills?!" Audfrey exclaimed in shock.
"That's incredible, my Hero." Astrid complimented.
"You are free to copy my bloodline skills, my husband." Elarose smiled.
"If the lord is fine with my skills, then..." Sibbe muttered.
"Interesting. I wonder if you have any limitations on that." Ozwald said while rubbing its tiny chin.
"You are free to try, my lord. But I am unsure if our abilities will be compatible with you." Turqirli said, representing her sisters.
"Well, there is only one way to find out," Rilden said.
He then started analyzing them, beginning with Ozi.
Name: Ozwald Wisecoat
Bloodline: Psychic Sage(Tier 1 Elementless, Psychic Bloodline)
Bloodline Abilities(Tier 1): Psychic Link, Super Learning.
Without needing to recheck them, Rilden tried copying them.
[Attempting to copy <Psychic Link(Tier 1)>... Success.]
[Attempting to copy <Super Learning(Tier 1)>... Success.]
"Hah... seems like I am compatible with Ozi's skills." Rilden sighed in relief.
"Oh! I guess that makes sense. Your bloodline skills are also mental ones... well, sort of?" Ozi scratched his furry ear.
"My husband, would you like to try?" Elarose asked.
"Hm. It is worth a try." Rilden nodded and activated <Fateless Blood>.
[<Fateless Blood> activated. Switching <Clairvoyance> with <Psychic Link(Tier 1)>]
"Oh!" Rilden widened his eyes as he felt the difference. "Ozi, try to disconnect me from you."
"Okay!" Ozwald nodded and disconnected the link before chirping. "Chi Chi."
"Good, let's try..." Rilden frowned for a moment, connecting with Ozi. "Can you understand me?"
"Yes, I can! It worked!" Ozi excitedly exclaimed. "Now I don't need to stay with you all the time, and I can focus on better things!"
"Let me guess, female squirrels?" Rilden amusedly grinned.
"You bet your ass on it, biggie," Ozi replied.
"Okay, who wants to try next?" Rilden asked.
"My husband, I think you should start with Sibbe. See if there is any compatibility issue." Elarose said.
"Hm, indeed." Rilden nodded.
Sibbe's abilities were very different from his, and he guessed there would likely be incompatibility issues. Perhaps they would be half as effective, or maybe wouldn't work at all!
"My lord, please." Sibbe lowered her head and waited.
Name: Sibbe
Age: 17
Bloodline: Blightkin(Earth, Blood, Death triple-elemental Tier 1)
Bloodline Abilities(Tier 1): Blight Affinity, Blight Empowerment
"Hm? Sibbe, you turned 17?" Rilden raised an eyebrow and looked at the teen.
"I-I don't know. Maybe? I only know I was born in summer, not the exact date." Sibbe uncomfortably rubbed her arm.
"Ah! I should prepare a birthday present later." Elarose smiled and said.
"My mistress, there is no need..." Sibbe warily smiled.
"You are my handmaiden. Of course, you should have some gifts. I will prepare a gift for you later." Elarose smiled.
"Thank you, mistress..." Sibbe felt touched. She never got a birthday gift.
Meanwhile, Rilden attempted to copy Sibbe's bloodline skills. But the result dampened his mood greatly.
[Attempting to copy <Blight Affinity(Tier 1)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
[Attempting to copy <Blight Empowerment(Tier 1)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
"What the... I can't learn Sibbe's abilities. My elements are incompatible." Rilden bitterly said.
"I'm sorry it didn't work, my lord..." Sibbe sorrowfully muttered.
"It's fine. Don't overthink it." Rilden waved his hand and turned to Astrid. "Let's see if I can copy your eye skill."
"With pleasure, my Hero." Astrid smiled.
However, after half a minute, Rilden grimaced.
[Attempting to copy <Qhiion's Killing Gaze(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
"Damn. Seems like being a Hero doesn't give a pass." Rilden grumbled.
"My apologies, my Hero. Perhaps only passive or elementless abilities that don't require elemental power are compatible with you?" Astrid suggested.
"That's likely it." Rilden nodded and looked at Elarose. "You're next."
"Of course, my husband." Elarose smiled.
Name: Elarose Greyblade
Bloodline: Mighty Earth Mother(Earth and Strength Tier 7 Divine Bloodline)
Bloodline Abilities: Earth Mother's Mighty Body(Tier 4), Earth Mother's Earth Power(Tier 4), Earth Mother's Natural Armor(Tier 4), Earth Mother's Indomitable Resistance(Tier 4), Earth Mother's Mountain-Breaking Fists(Tier 4)
"Whenever I see those abilities, I remember again that I am sleeping with a beautiful, human-shaped behemoth that can rip me in half." Rilden warily thought and tried copying the abilities, half-guessing it wouldn't work.
Turns out he was right.
[Attempting to copy <Earth Mother's Mighty Body(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
[Attempting to copy <Earth Mother's Earth Power(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
[Attempting to copy <Earth Mother's Natural Armor(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
[Attempting to copy <Earth Mother's Indomitable Resistance(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
[Attempting to copy <Earth Mother's Mountain-Breaking Fists(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
"Hah... Seems like your bloodline is incompatible, too." Rilden helplessly sighed.
"My apologies, my husband. Perhaps we would be more compatible if I still had the <Greyblade> Bloodline." Elarose bitterly said.
"It's fine... Perhaps I can try with Varkas later." Rilden waved his hand.
"My lord, it is likely that our abilities would be incompatible with you as well, but you are welcome to try," Sapphirli added.
"Okay, let's test it." Rilden nodded and tried copying the four sisters' abilities.
Alas-
[Attempting to copy <Water Nymph Physiology(Tier 3)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
[Attempting to copy <Water Perception(Tier 3)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
[Attempting to copy <Water Manipulation(Tier 3)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
[Attempting to copy <Water Healing(Tier 3)>... Failed. Incompatible Element.]
He couldn't copy anything. The same went for the other sisters. With that, his expectations were half-shattered. <Fateless Blood> was not as overpowered as he thought. At least, not unless he somehow solved the incompatibility issue.
"My mate, how about trying to copy my abilities? They don't have an element." Audfrey suddenly said.
"Oh! Right." Rilden nodded and tried.
Name: Audfrey of Bildsfell
Bloodline: Great Panther Bloodline(Tier 5 Epic Elementless Feline-Type Bloodline)
Bloodline Abilities: Feline Instincts(Tier 4), Feline Agility(Tier 4), Feline Grace(Tier 4), Primal Rage(Tier 4), Great Panther's Deadly Pounce(Tier 4)
Compared to Elarose's bloodline, Audfrey's abilities appeared lackluster. Of course, it was also because Elarose's bloodline was mythical, while Audfrey's bloodline was Epic.
"But then again, it is better than not having anything." Rilden thought and tried copying it.
This time, the result was slightly different.
[Attempting to copy <Feline Instincts(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Type.]
[Attempting to copy <Feline Agility(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Type.]
[Attempting to copy <Feline Grace(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Type.]
[Attempting to copy <Primal Rage(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Type.]
[Attempting to copy <Great Panther's Deadly Pounce(Tier 4)>... Failed. Incompatible Type.]
"It still failed... but this time, it is because of the type." Rilden warily said.
"My Hero, I suggest you try copying the bloodline abilities of elementless bloodlines. You can then see what types are compatible with you." Astrid suggested.
"Okay, it's worth a try." Rilden nodded.
After their meal, Rilden gathered three nearby guards with elementless but weak awakened bloodlines of different types.
Strength-type- failed.
Canine-type- failed.
Perception-type- failed.
Dismissing the poor guards, Rilden felt a headache.
"Now, what type of bloodline is compatible with me except psychic or divination types?" Rilden scratched his head.
"My husband, perhaps your divination ability can help you?" Elarose suggested.
Rilden remained silent for a moment, wanting to facepalm.
"Despite my heightened Comprehension of over 5, I'm still an idiot." Rilden mentally lamented.
Praying that the freshly-picked four-leafed clover in his pocket would bless him with luck, he activated the new charge of the <Daily Prophet>.
[You have awakened the incredibly potent bloodline ability, <Fateless Blood>. Aside from its passive effect that will shield you from fate-based powers and the whims of fate, it can copy the bloodline abilities of compatible bloodlines! However, you cannot copy bloodline abilities that are not both elementless and of a compatible type(At least, for now). Your bloodline is most compatible with Fate and Psychic bloodlines. Unfortunately, such bloodlines are incredibly rare, cannot be inherited, and can only mutate(At least for humans). But luckily, while there are no humans with Fate-type bloodlines in the surrounding 300 miles, there are three Psychic bloodlines in Tulens, Steorus, and Osnines, one each. In the nearby town of Dritsker, there is a 13-year-old Blacksmith Apprentice, Skap, with an unawakened Psychic Warrior bloodline! He would certainly be thrilled to have a chance to become a powerful warrior under a Hero's command. You can send someone to fetch him tomorrow morning. As a side note, while his legendary bloodline is destined to awaken naturally when he turns 17, you can awaken it naturally with wisdom tea.]
Godless Prophet of Aeyemar is free on scribblehub!
"Hah... Okay. That's something." Rilden sighed, both disappointed and relieved.
There wasn't much to go by, but copying from a handful was better than none. And so, he informed his stooge (Nefstein) to fetch him tomorrow morning.

Day 42:
[There is an Atrivia's Love forming in—]
[There is an Atrivia's Love forming in—]
[+7 Good Luck! Another Atrivia's Love would luckily form nearby in—]
[Your Divine Garden is lacking a bit of defense. How about building a hedge? A live, carnivorous, poisonous one that wraps thorny tentacles around any would-be invader? There is a slightly mutated thorn hedge plant with high potential that Emerli can control—]
[+7 Good Luck! Ginger is a widely known medicinal plant, and one happened to mutate in a specialized medicinal farm. Go collect the rhizome and transplant it in your garden, and you will have a perfect detoxifying plant that keeps you healthier, purifies your energy, and cures poison. It will also make you temporarily immune to a poison(or miasma) of the same Tier. You can cook it, add it to your tea, or eat it raw if you like the taste. It is located in—]
Rilden naturally arranged for his stooges to play fetch while he focused on more important matters, such as the young man before him.
He was a regular-looking teenager, about 140cm tall, with short black hair and brown eyes. His arms were slightly muscular, and his hands were rugged and calloused from helping in the forge. While he wore clean clothes and washed before coming, Rilden still noticed a few dirty smudges that would need a few more rounds of scrubbing to remove from his worshipful gaze.
"My lord! I, Skap, swear to serve you to the best of my abilities!" The teenager said while kneeling.
"Ah, get up, young man. No need to kneel." Rilden said as he analyzed him.
Name: Skap
Comprehension: 1(6.8, Unawakened)
Bloodline: Psychic Warrior(Unawakened, 4 years to awaken naturally)(Elementless Psychic Legendary Bloodline)
Bloodline Abilities: —
Warrior Realm: None. Warrior Talent: 0.2(6.2, Unawakened)
Magician Realm: None. Magician Talent: 0.3(6.5, Unawakened)
Evaluation: An ordinary teenager with legendary psychic potential.
"HOLY CRAP! This is the first time I have met a natural legendary talent." Rilden widened his eyes.
However, that was it. Rilden himself already surpassed the kid in talent. If anything, it merely saved a bit of resources.
Not wasting time, Rilden prepared some cold tea he brought back from the mountain and had Skap drink it. Shortly after he finished drinking it, Skap lost consciousness while still wearing a silly grin.
By late noon, Skap woke up on a bed. His hair and eyes had turned silver, and he was 10 cm taller. His eyes radiated high intelligence and power. Turning to the right, he saw the red-headed Rilden, Hero of Qhiion, calmly looking at him.
"My lord, I thank you for this opportunity!" Skap hurriedly got up and said.
"Hm. From now on, you're one of my retainers." Rilden smiled and nodded.
"Yes, my lord! I will serve you well!" Skap said, convinced that Rilden was the one who helped him awaken his bloodline, not knowing he would have awakened either way in four years.
Rilden silently nodded and checked Skap's status.
Name: Skap
Comprehension: 7
Bloodline: Psychic Warrior(Elementless Psychic Legendary Bloodline)
Bloodline Abilities: Psionic Conditioning(Tier 2), Psionic Physical Empowerment(Tier 2), Psi-Skin(Tier 2)
Warrior Realm: Initial Tier 2. Warrior Talent: 6.2
Magician Realm: Intermediate Tier 2. Magician Talent: 6.5
Evaluation: A legendary psychic talent who got hoodwinked into becoming a stooge.
[<Psionic Conditioning>: Your psychic power passively enhances and perfects your body, improving physical parameters without exercise (Up to human limits) and purifying your body and energy. Your Warrior and Magician realms will also gradually improve(Up to what your talent allows). Effects are limited by Comprehension.]
[<Psionic Physical Empowerment>: Your body is passively empowered by psychic energies, enhancing physical capabilities. You can greatly improve the empowerment by consuming mental and magical energies. A higher Magician realm improves the empowerment, while a higher Comprehension improves efficiency.]
[<Psi-Skin>: When activated, it reinforces your skin, automatically protecting you from harm above a certain level. It consumes Mental and Magical energies only when absorbing damage. A higher Magician realm improves the protection, while a higher Comprehension improves efficiency.]
[Attempting to copy <Psionic Conditioning(Tier 2)>... Success.]
[Attempting to copy <Psionic Physical Empowerment(Tier 2)>... Success.]
[Attempting to copy <Psi-Skin(Tier 2)>... Success.]
"Nice." Rilden grinned.

Later that day, after a small engagement feast, Rilden retired to his room together with Astrid.
For tonight, Elarose voluntarily stayed in the garden house, giving Astrid, who was still a virgin, some privacy.
And so, there he was, facing a hungry and undressed woman, making a come-hither gesture while wearing a naughty grin.
"Come, my Hero- No, my husband. The night is young." Astrid temptingly said.
"Who am I to say no?" Rilden grinned as he undressed himself.
Soon, the room was filled with passionate moans and groans.
