I was woken up by the rays of sunlight coming through the window that I had forgot to close.

Dressing myself to the clothes I was given, the clothes were noble-like and extravagant, but I ignored the design as I don't have any other clothes to put on.

Once I exited my room I was immediately called by Toka.

Toka: James! Here!

James: Okay?

I approached them.

Haruto: So, uhh... James, we would leave this town now. You should come along too.

James: To where?

Haruto: ...

Reika: its uhh... I dont remember but it's called the capital.

Haruto: <Why would you tell him that!>

He whispered to Reika, but I could hear it.

Reika: There's no problem right?

Haruto: <Yes there is, they told us to keep quiet!>

(Quest? Wait...)

Toka noticed me being doubtful so she reassured me, but in an unexpected way.

Toka: Don't worry James, I won't let you go~

After saying that the three of us turned to look at Toka.

But the most surprised among us was Haruto.

Haruto: T-toka? D-do you have a thing for J-james?

(Looks like Haruto have taken an emotional damage.)

Toka: Yeah, after all you don't even care about me.

Haruto: T-thats not true...

Reika: I...sorry Toka...

Toka: What? You'll apologize once I found the one who I love?

Her voice started to be aggresive.

Haruto: B-but James is our qu-

Toka: Quest?! So that's how you think of him?! 

Haruto: Y-yeah! That's how I think of him! Just because he charmed you by his looks doesn't mea-

We heard a sword getting unsheathed.

It was Toka who pointed her sword at Haruto.

Haruto: Wha-what? T-toka?

Reika: Toka?!

Reika was surprised by Toka's action.

Toka: James doesn't want to hear your insults, right James?

James: ...

However, I just kept quiet. There was fear showing on my face.

Toka: Of course you wouldn't that, right?

Haruto: Toka thi-

The sword which was previously pointed at him was now at his neck.

Reika: Toka, that's enough! You're not behaving like yourself at all!

Toka: Enough? You say that after having taken Haruto?! What more do you want from me?! 

Suddenly she holds my hand.

Toka: We'll be leaving now...

Haruto: But the carriage!

I tried escaping but her grip holding onto my hand is so intimate, at the same time I couldn't release it because of her strength.

James: Toka, hey stop! Where are you leading me!

Reika: Toka wher-

Toka almost slashed Reika's neck but she managed to dodge.

Reika: Hey! Do you really plan on killing me!?

Toka: Yes, I can't keep up my act because of you Reika! 

She successfully pulled me away, I had been struggling to stop her but it was all for nothing.

Haruto: Maybe…... Just because he was a foreigner....

Reika: Don't worry Haruto...

Reika who was consoling Haruto smiled behind his back while thinking.

(Atleast an obstacle has been removed, lets hope that we won't see each other again., It's hard to keep Haruto just to myself after all)

Haruto: Thanks Reika but now our party only have 2 members...

Reika: Then let's become stronger than Toka, the two of us, together.

Haruto: Thank you Reika... Okay let's go to the capital now, we'll just say that we've abandon the quest.

Reika: Of course Haruto let's go~!

Peddler: Hmm? Just the two of you? Where's the other two?

Haruto: They decided to abandon the escort.

Reika: Don't worry, peddler but the two of us are enough to protect you.

Haruto: Yes, of course!

But inside Haruto he was still feeling down.

Once they reached the gate, they were stopped by the guards.

Guard: Hold!

Peddler: Yes? Is there something wrong?

Guard: Yes, it's about the adventurers who are currently escorting you.

Peddler: Hey, adventurers! The Guards are looking for you!

The two showed up at the back of the carriage.

Haruto: Yes?

Reika: Is there any problem?

Guard: Where's the one you saved, the one called James.

Haruto: Eeh, uhmm...

Reika: They uhh...

Guard: Tell us or you'll be executed by the orders of the Pope and Princess.

Haruto: The two of them said they'll be staying on the town a bit longer and uhm... about James, she is being guarded by our strongest party member Toka.

Reika: *nodding hmm hmm!

Guard: Okay then, you two may go as adventurers have much more importance than some wanted man by both the Princess and pope.

Haruto: Thank you.

Guard: Oh, and becareful because last night outside the town, a Demon escaped, killing all the people that are in there., When you encounter it, report it immediately.

Haruto: Yes sir.

The two returned to the carriage.

Before the peddler start to go he asked them.

Peddler: So, have you two been told by the guard about what happened last night?

Reika: No...

Haruto: Last night? What happened?

Peddler: You don't know?

Haruto: I don't really Know.

Peddler: There was supposed to be a demon that was gonna be burned publicly but when someone came to that place he saw that everyone at the site was killed. Then he saw that the demon has already escaped from her crucifixion.

Haruto: What? Killed? Who's the demon?

Peddler: It's a childlike humanoid demon-

Haruto: H-her?!

Haruto took a load of guilt after hearing that it was the catgirl that he brought to the authorities, he gave her mercy because he thought he can add her to the party but he couldn't at all, after she was incapacitated she kept struggling to attack them. He have no choice but to bring her to the authorities.

Peddler: Is there a problem...

Reika: Calm down Haruto, calm down.

Haruto: Yes you're right Reika I should calm down.

The peddler didn't talk as he saw the two being in a atmosphere were he couldn't interrupt.

James: Toka where are you leading me!? Let go of me!

Toka: I'm leading you to- oh.

She saw something.

Toka: Alright, I decided starting today this is where we'll live.

James: Don't start making decisions without asking me!

Toka: James do you want it?

James: No fucking way, you psychopath!

Toka: James that hurts...

James: Eh?...wha-

She hugs me and starts giggling after sometime she talked.

Toka: Ehehehe James, those words I felt good, please say more~!

Then she started grinding her body on me, in the middle of the street.

James: WTF are you up to?!

Toka: Making myself feel good?

(Uh oh she turned masochist... I thought it would affect on her as she looks so innocent...)

James: let go of me now! There are many people looking at us!

Toka: Don't worry, this is making me feel better~

James: AaaAA!!

I screamed which led to the guards heading here.
