My mother grabbed me and took me outside; I looked at her in her luxurious jacket and gold plated sunglasses. My mother really was a beauty even among my standards, now that she had properly recovered from giving birth it would be hard to find someone surpassing her beauty even in the world of cultivators. She got into what is known as a "super car" though what makes it super is still unknown to me. She satin the back with me while an elderly man got behind the wheel.

Mom: To headquarters

Old Man: Certainly madame

Albass's face darkened for a sec as he started shaking, we sped up to the maximum speed the care could go

Albass: SUCH PERFECTION INCARNATE, THIS WORTHLESS ALBASS SHALL DEVOTE HIS WHOLE EXISTENCE INTO MAKING YOU THE MOST REPUTABLE MAN

his eyes were twinkling as he shouted fervently at the heavens

Mom: HoHoHoHoHo, my dear Xin seems to have broken all the gears in our usually robotic Albass. 

besides the fact that Albass's declaration had just given me the slight boost I needed to break into the upper levels of a planetary lord... I think my mother was the most mellow headed of anybody that I knew

we arrived in front of a massive tower that I've found out is called a "skyscraper" which is quite a fitting name. I can see the name of the company in bright luminous letters on the side of the building

Xin: "LunarGen?"

My Mother hugged me tightly when I said this

Mom: GOOD BOY, my baby is even more intelligent than I was at his age... maybe you'll follow in mommy's footsteps and create a new theorem to advance science by 50 years when you're 10?

My mother was a pretty amazing person wasn't she? we walked inside the building and immediately were greeted by tens of employees welcoming us 

Employees: GREETINGS HONORABLE MISTRESS, project 13RM has been completed and you wanted to be informed for the clinical trial

Mother: Yayyyy, little Xin you're in for a treat. this is a good trial to see as it is the future of martial arts

we went into an elevator and descended into a basement. I must say that this world had advanced extremely quickly for the lack of energy that it had. they had apparently used science as their primary focus while few focused on cultivation as a supplement to their advancement. it seems like this company focuses on merging cultivation and science; perhaps if science and cultivation could be fused then humanity would be able to reach even greater heights than ever 

Mother: This little thing here *holds up vial* is called RM13 also known as "Immortals Tear" which holds a critical place in cultivation. the biggest problem we tend to have at our higher levels-

"higher levels" she says... meanwhile I am stronger than everyone on this planet combined.

Mother: -is that we cannot comprehend every enlightenment or breakthrough we realize when gathering essence. 

She had a point though. many cultivators reached a bottleneck not for lack of talent but because they were too talented in cultivation and not talented in absorbing their insights into the essence they absorbed and the Quánnéng road they had viewed for themselves. for the Quánnéng path was not just the circular law of the multiverse, but it was time and fate itself. 

Mother: This little thing right here can enhance the users comprehension and recollection of any insights obtained to near total recall. it makes people smarter basically

that was astounding, if this was sold in my previous universe it would have been fought for by countless empires. once you reach the level of an immortal sage you can typically only remember and comprehend a second of closed door cultivation that you do for every 24 hours spent cultivating. total recollection would mean that you could increase your ascension speed by thousands of times. 

Xin: Mommy, you're so cool

my mother couldn't help but look proud

Mom: So are you my darling baby. I'm sure that you'll soon surpass me

I sensed the vial and did find one flaw though...

Xin: Mommy, why do you not use energy in it?

Mom: What do you mean? we have put all the substances necessary from demons and monsters in order to simulate spiritual essence

Xin: why not put essence in?

Mom: A cultivators spiritual essence is too diluted and impure, unfortunately it can't be used

Xin: Why not put it in a stone?

Mom: Eh?

Xin: 'shit I'm talking too fancy' I mean like daddys beer at home

Mom: A filter wouldn't work silly, after all what material can abs- ...jade

Staff: EH? madame what are you thinking about?

Mom: Jade contains a small trace of extremely potent spiritual energy that we use to make spiritual artifacts and weapons, this means it must be able to contain our essence, what if we forcefully injected essence into extremely high quality jade and then pressurized it like a diamond in order to squeeze out any impurities inside of it, the jade contains the spiritual essence as it is denser and compresses it into high quality spiritual energy that can be extracted and injected into the compound... MY BABY BOY IS A GENIUS

The head scientist (who wasn't my mother) immediately came up while sweating profusely and waving his arms

Scientist: Madame, surely you aren't suggesting we listen to the advice of a newborn child, however intelligent he may be... he is still a child

Suddenly the scientist started choking and his face turned pale as his body started to shiver and a thin layer of ice covered parts of his body

Mom: I'm The CEO, that means I can do what I want... you can't stop me. purchase all the high quality jade circulating the market. although we should have a budget set, let's say 2.3 billion, that's my budget for the day anyways. 

My mom really was filthy rich wasn't she? 

after she bought the jade we went home because her part of the day was coming to an end. once home my mother left me with some words

Mom: Darling boy, someday I will leave it all to you... and I know you'll expand the science and understanding of cultivation beyond our wildest dreams.

I was touched by my mothers words when I realized... I am a half step away from a planetary deity realm in my old world. Just when my worry for the future was about to peak I saw a speeding object... or three speeding objects? they moved so fast that I barely saw them knock over my mother and grab me and I suddenly heard-

Father: YUECHAN!!! How are you able to move so fast?!

Yuechan: LOVE! Yuechans Love for baby brother gave her strength

she wasn't technically wrong, but what shocked me more was that there was a white wolf puppy with her and what looked like a baby hydra. I suddenly heard a voice in my head 

Xiao Ya & Yin Jin: MASTER!!! we found this girl who smelled like your soul so we followed her back!!!

it seemed like my peaceful family life was soaring ever further away from my grasp...
