The next day they finally arrived at Magnolia and the three went straight to the Fairy Tail guild.

And when they finally stood before it, Lucy was simultaneously nervous and excited.

Natsu and Happy turned around and said at the same time,” Welcome to Fairy Tale.”.

As the three entered the guild they were met with the usual occurrence of the guild.

Most members were sitting at the table eating, drinking, and talking with the others.

Others were standing before the quest board, looking for a new job.

The staff members and Mirajane were bringing the food and drinks.

Natsu and Happy said,” We are Home.”

Natsu then looked around as if searching for something or someone, and seemingly found the person sitting at the bar counter.

Natsu then flew toward the bar counter with a flaming dropkick.

At the bar counter sat three people, Vulcan, Zeldaris and Aversia, and of course all three of them noticed the flying Natsu.

Zeldaris, while sighing, stood up and jumped forward, grabbing Natsu´s leg.

The second he landed, while still grabbing Natsu, he spun around and threw Natsu into the wall at the other side of the guild hall.

Most members started to laugh as they saw Natsu smashing into the wall, while Lucy was completely shocked.

To be fair it was understandable, since Natsu was the strongest mage that Lucy had ever meet and now he was thrown like it was nothing.

Natsu was stuck into the wall for a short time before landing onto the ground and stood right up again after a few seconds.

“Damn you Zeldaris, the information about that Salamander were fake.”, screamed Natsu.

“And I told you that he was a fake and that Ave and I would take care of that guy, but everything you heard were Salamander Hargeon. You idiot.”, retorted Zeldaris back.

This type of banter between Natsu and the two half dragons became a normal occurrence and was always enjoyable.

“Now, now, how about you two will calm down.”, said Ophiuchus, trying to calm the two down.

Ophiuchus had become the second poster girl for the guild and was now almost as popular as Mirajane.

Also, she was used in fights as well and proved herself as a strong and reliable fighter, in both forms.

Zeldaris agreed with Ophiuchus words since Natsu would never learn his lessons.

But Natsu was not finished and tried to attack again only to be punched into the stomach and being sent flying once again.

Only this time, he landed on a table and started a fight that soon included almost everyone in the guild.

It truly was a normal day in the guild.

Lucy was not able to comprehend what the hell was going on and continued to just stare.

Until Mirajane, Lisanna, Ophiuchus, Vulcan, Zeldaris and Aversia noticed her and welcomed her to the guild.

They were all curious since it was the first time that Natsu brought someone new with him.

Vulcan, Aversia and Zeldaris had already an idea who Lucy was and were thinking the same thing.

(The Heartfilia genes are really scarry.)

Because Lucy looked like a younger copy of Anna and Leila and at this point the three didn´t even try to understand how this worked.

“Shouldn’t you all do something about it?”, asked Lucy while pointing at the scene of almost everyone in the guild fighting.

“It happens all the time. You don´t have to worry about it.”, said Mirajane with a smile.

“Also, it is more fun this way, when everyone does something that they enjoy.”, added Ophiuchus.

It was at this moment that two bottles were flying toward Mirajan´s and Ophiuchus`s heads, but Zeldaris caught them without any problems and threw them back.

Aversia on the other hand caught a flying Elfman.

The fight turned more and more serious, and the first people were preparing to use their magic.

“Time for us to intervene.”, said Aversia, this was one of her favorite things to do in the guild.

But someone else decided to intervene, because a giant figure, that almost reached the ceiling, appeared out of nowhere and screamed,” CUT IT, YOU FOOLS!!!”

Lucy became completely shocked, while Aversia clicked with her tongue.

As for those that were fighting, they immediately stopped what they were doing and just stood there like statues, none of them even dared to move a muscle, even if they had a fist buried into their face.

“Ah, Master. You were here?”, said Mirajane to the giant.

“MASTER!?”, exclaimed Lucy.

The others begun to move again and get back to what they were doing before the fight, some of the staff members were already cleaning the mess.

“DAAA HA HA HA!! YOU ALL GOT SO SCARED!!! THIS MATCH IS MY…”, yelled Natsu before being crushed under the foot of the giant.

“Hm? A newcomer?”, said the giant, finally noticing Lucy.

“Y-Yes…”, answered Lucy.

Suddenly the giant became smaller and smaller and revealed himself as the guild master of the guild Makarov.

The magic that allows him to alter his height, although he can not shrink himself beyond his original size, was called Giant.

Makarov greeted Lucy with a few words and then jumped backwards onto the railing on the second floor, while doing a ton of backflips.

This looked impressive, until he hit his head on the railing and almost fell.

 Standing on top of the railing as if nothing happened, he showed everyone the papers that he was holding and said,” You have done it again, fools. Look at all these documents I received from the council.”

He then started to list everyone and the trouble that they caused, while only calling the names of those who caused only minor trouble.

Until he came to Natsu, because Natsu caused by far the most trouble and the greatest ones by far.

His list was almost half of all the complaints.

“Guys… The council members are angry at me all the time…”, said Makarov while shacking in anger.

“But…”, he said as he stopped shacking and stretched out his hand with the documents, who suddenly started to burn fire.

“Forget about the council members.”

He then threw the burning documents and Natsu caught them like dog would a frisbee and started to eat the fire.

“Listen up. The power to overcome reasoning is born from reasoning. Magic is not a miracle.  It is a talent that only works when the flow of energy inside of us, and the flow of energy in the natural world are in perfect synchronization. To perform magic, one must have a strong mind and the ability to focus. It shall take over your being and poor over your soul! If all we do is worry about rules, then our power will never progress. Do not let those blow-hards on the council scare you. Follow the path you believe in! For that is the way of a Fairy Tail mage!!!”, the last part he said while smiling and with his hands stretched out.

Every member broke out into cheers, while Lucy looked at this with wide shining eyes.

Later, as everything got quite again, Natsu was standing before the quest board and was searching for a good job request.

Lucy became a member of the guild and got her guild mark.

When suddenly Romeo appeared and asked Makarov if there was any news about his father Macao, who went on a quest and didn´t come back.

Makarov said that he should have some faith into his father and that there were no mages in the guild that didn´t know how to take care of themselves.

The two continued to argue until Romeo punched Makarov and run away, while crying.

Makarov was also worried about Macao.

Natsu clenched his teeth and walked out of the guild, and everyone knew that he would look for Macao.

Lucy didn´t understand what was wrong with him, so Mirajane, Zeldaris and Aversia explained to her about Natsu´s past and situation.

It was honestly quite shocking for her, including the fact that he was raised by an actual dragon, a point she refuses to believe even after Zeldaris and Aversia trying to convince her.

But after hearing that, she decided to go with Natsu, after being bribed with the promise to visit Mirajane´s house.

And the three were successful in saving Macao, who had been taken over by a Vulcan and almost died.

Shortly after that they formed a party and took a job to burn a book and although there were some interesting rumors about it, Zeldaris and Aversia didn´t really care about it since they had to prepare their things and some other things for the next annual guild master meeting.

The participation of the two half dragons was always welcomed by the other guild masters and their escorts, because the two had gave many of them pointers and helped them with some other things, mostly advises.

So, Makarov, Zeldaris and Aversia departed from the guild shortly after Natsu and Lucy took the request.

Vulcan would look after the guild since Erza was on a job but would soon return from it and Vulcan was strong enough to look after the guild until she returned.

But none of them knew the thing that awaited them on this meeting.

 

Giant: Makarov´s signature magic and one of the simplest, but just as powerful and versatile magic in the Fairy Tail universe. It allows the user to enlarge his body, or body parts, to an insane level. It is unknown if there is even a limit. It is extremely rare that Makarov uses his magic to grow bigger than an actual giant, but his record is almost as big as Tenrou Island itself. He also becomes extremely muscular when using his magic and is one of the physical strongest beings in that form and can even fight against dragons in physical combat for a good amount of time. His endurance also is extremely high in that form.

But like I mentioned earlier he can also use it on body parts, instead of the whole body, which makes them look like they have elastic properties, because he can make stretch them, like Luffy from One Piece. But the most surprising thing is that he can also use this magic on other people. For example, he used it on Reedus to enlarge his upper body, meaning that his round body is because of Makarov’s magic. He asked for this, so that he could use his magic better, by painting on his body.

All in all, it is one of the most frightening magic types in Fairy Tail.
