Yao Mingli and Lai Ruolan were taken to be sent away for their punishment. The Emperor excused both Su Ying and Yusheng taking in the incident that happened.

When Yusheng and Su Ying were about to get in the carriage, they were approached by General Chen. General Chen said,

"Yusheng, you do know that your aunt didn't mean bad. She can never hurt you, right? She's the Empress... She can't let her emotions drive her... What happened was needed to happen in order to weaken the Yao family... We can't be soft hearted."

Yusheng looked at his uncle with a shocked expression before going back to his usual expressionless face. He couldn't believe what his Uncle was saying.

He was thinking about letting things go for their familial bond but then his Uncle said something like that. Maybe he was the only one who thought that they were a family.

Yusheng sneered, "Uncle Chen, I agree to the fact that it's needed to weaken the Yao family so that Qin Junqing can smoothly ascend the throne. But is it needed to sacrifice my wife or child for that person?

The Empress is the mother of the nation. It is her responsibility to make sure the well-being of her citizens, not to sacrifice an innocent person for her selfish desire.

Uncle, all these years, I've fought in the front line with the intention to give up my life for the nation if needed. I was living... But not living at the same time. Forget General Chen, even Su Ying himself was surprised with his husband's attitude. But he also knew that Yusheng was suffering and was feeling guilty for him and their baby. He was sad and Su Ying couldn't bear to see his hubby sad.

As they got into the carriage, Su Ying directly sat on his hubby's lap and hugged his neck.

One week after the incident, the pair of husband and wife were invited to the Li mansion. Yusheng wanted to refuse but Su Ying thought that it was okay to go and see what kind of curry the Li's wanted to cook.

So Su Ying held his big belly and went to the Li mansion with his hubby in the assigned day.

As soon as they went there, Ding YiFan greeted them with a 'smile' and told Su Ying to sit carefully. She said with 'concern',

"Are you okay, Su Ying? What about our grandson? Sigh... If I knew that Yao Mingli would do something like that, I would have never given him the permission to go to the Imperial hunt with us."

Su Ying also 'smiled' at her,

"Thanks for your concern, Madam Ding. Both me and baby are alright. And it wasn't your fault that you let Yao Mingli go to the Imperial hunt."

"Sigh... I'm glad that you don't blame me."

Su Ying 'smiled'.

"*cough* It's great that nothing happened. Anyways, YuZheng, I heard that Teacher Ping praised you." Father Li said to Ding YiFan's eldest son.

Li YuZheng puffed up his chest with pride. "Yes, father. Teacher Ping indeed praised me. He said that I was good at calculation. A rare talent like me is hardly found and is better than muscle-headed people who can only use their limbs and fight." This last sentence was directed at Yusheng. Yusheng didn't react as he took a sip of tea. 

Father Li exclaimed happily, "Good... Tell me, if Shao Yan's daily salary is 15 silvers. He quit his job after working for 7 years and 5 month. How much money did he earn from his job?" 

Li YuZheng took out an abacus from nowhere and started calculating. He took 30 minutes to calculate the answer. And on top of that, the answer was wrong.

Father Li happily nodded, "My son is really good at calculation."

Su Ying looked at Li YuZheng who was holding a abacus and was said to be 'good' at calculation despite the terribly wrong answer he gave.

Su Ying smiled, "The probability of the answer being wrong is 100%. The correct answer should be 40,575 silvers without taking in the bonus Shao Yan might receive or other events that might happen in his life."

Li YuZheng was shocked. "This can't be... How can you solve such a difficult equation?" 

Su Ying,"......." That was a difficult equation? Insert *derp* face. 

"My wife is talented. It's no wonder that he can solve something like that."

Su Ying smiled, "That's true. Even a muscle-headed man like my husband can solve this. Right?" 

Li YuZheng was about to get angry when he saw Su Ying's beautiful smile and blushed. 

Yusheng looked at his pig brother who blushed at his wife and threw daggers at him. 

"YuZheng, it's no wonder that with your limited brain capacity and your mind which is filled with useless things that you can't solve such a simple thing. How mentally childish (stupid) are you! Learn from your sister-in-law. Su Ying is your elder. A child like you should pray that you can become like him. After all, my wife is such a genius person."

Everyone,"..............."

Su Ying,"................." What nonsense was his jealous hubby speaking ah?

That night, Su Ying was lying on his hubby's arms as Yusheng was gently caressing his stomach while talking to their baby in his abdomen. Suddenly he thought of something and asked Yusheng, 

"Hubby, do you really know how to do the equation from earlier?" 

Yusheng looked at his wife and answered honestly, "I can't."

"Nonono.... It can't be... My husband can't be like this. Hubby, starting from tommorow, I'll teach you to do calculation everyday, alright? I'm such a genius, you have to be good too... Bao Bao will be better than us. I'll teach you, okay?

Sigh... If only I wasn't pregnant at this moment, maybe we could do a teacher-student play... Sigh... "

Yusheng ignored the last part about Su Ying's fantasy and calmly said, "En... My wife is a genius..."
