Story of The Lord of Gazina city, Prakash Sharma

My father was the head of the 13th branch family or simply, 13th head, of a branch family of the Sharma noble house of Sharma city. The main Sharma family ruled Sharma Earldom, with its family head as Earl Sharma. As my father did not join the main Sharma family even when he has a noble awakening with four skills. Also coupled with the fact that he did not show any unique talent or interest in work. Thus, he was never offered any office or Lord position. Still, he got himself a job many in noble houses likes to take, who wants to enjoy their life, that is, the life of a breeder. Where you need not care about earning money or anything and was only expected to breed the next generation of noble awakened boys and girls for marrying in the main Sharma family or to any other noble house if needed. Therefore, 13th head, my father, used to marry any beautiful girl he could lay eye on. My mother was his 101st concubine and also not his last concubine. 

He needed to report the results produced in every five years by his breeding family, as new children's birth and awakening of adult children. So, his first three reports were filled with only how many concubines he had and how many children each of them had birthed. But when it was his 19th year as a breeder, the time came for his firstborn to awaken. He liked his firstborn very much, who was a boy. But his firstborn only awakened with two skills. My father was not very sad as it is tough for children with four awakened skills to be born, but he could not feel happy with firstborn's two skills as he has high hopes for him. So, My father sifted his hopes to his three children, who will awaken the next year. Of these three children, one was the younger sister of his firstborn.

What nobody expected was that this year both the other children got three skills to awaken, but the girl was unlucky like her brother and got only two skills to awaken. This ruined his dream of making big with reporting of noble awakened children in this fourth report to the main family. So, he was angry and wanted to vent his anger on something or someone. And realizing that both children of his first and most beloved concubine were the waste these two successive years. Therefore, using the fact that his stamina as a male is limited, and the reason that he could only sleep with a limited number of concubines even if he fuck continuously for day and night. So, he started to discard the old concubines he was already bored, and his first victim was this first concubine and her children. Since now he has reason and victim both, so he tossed her out of his family and along with all her children and gave them some money, saying that 'as all her children are waste, he got no place for them in his family.'

Maybe this was the reality faced by all the noble houses, the lack of enough noble blood to keep the family alive. Therefore, to overcome such hurdles, they will keep pumping money to such branch families in the hope of getting enough noble boys and girls for the next generations. This being a very rare anomaly. So, nearly every concubine lasted in the family for 19-21 years before she got discarded with all her children. Still, all commoners and officials would die trying to bring their daughters and sons to get married in noble houses.

After some time, even children became aware that his half-sister or brother can become stranger to him at any day or year for no apparent reason. Further, we did not get to see children outside the world unless we awaken or got discarded with our mother. Therefore, half-brother or sister's relationship was like nothing. Many unspeakable things started to happen among half-siblings. But concubine would not correct or stop their children from it. This gives them hope that they will have a link to the house in the future and could get aid through these half-siblings relationship as leverage if they or one of his siblings gets four skill awakening. 

So, a pattern was set to discard these women/concubines if their first two children have less then 4 skill awakening. Therefore, even if he is now aged 196 years old, thanks to his level-2 life, my father has only 64 official children and only 40 concubines, aged between 18-61 years only in his family. Now, he has been planning to level-up with the main family's help to level-3. So that his age limit will increase from 200 years to 250 years. But even in his nearly 175 years of life as a breeder with countless children, only two children got 4 skills awakening, I, Prakash Sharma, and my younger half-sister, Helen Sharma. So, he has disowned more than 300 concubines and their countless children. 

He might have been discarding them like Nothing, but there is a rumor that the leading family keeps track of those discarded unawakened children to make sure that none of them awakened noble blood after leaving the house, and if they do, then to make sure to promptly adopted in the family. My father got angry at me and said, 'How dare you enter my bed-chamber without my permission. I will kick you out of my inheritance like your other useless siblings. I had high hopes of you, but it looks like you are also as tactless as those plebian siblings of yours. Get lost from my sight.' (My father/13th head)

Listening to this, I was sure that things were not right here, and I remember listening to news that a half-sister of mine has recently awakened. Therefore, I asked his concubine, who has her chicks sullen and blood seeping out of her lips. Clearly, a victim from the earlier fight.

'What is happening here, concubine-mother? why is sister crying?' (Prakash)

'Nothing happened here, Prakash. You can leave now. Your father is just angry at me. He will forgive you after calming down. Go, Prakash, I will take care of everything here.' (concubine-mother)

Maybe realizing that if I actually leave the place. There will be nobody to help her and her mother. So, my half-sister sputtered to let me know what was really going on here and ask for help from me. 

'Brother save me, father has gone mad and wants to bed me and make me his concubine. He was beating my mother for stopping him from raping me. He would kill her and rape me if you left now. Please, brother Prakash, save my mother and me.' (Half-sister)

Then she burst into uncontrolled tears and could not utter a sound. While concubine-mother moved to her and hugged her, while also crying with her. There was no need for further explanation. Seeing a mother beaten by her husband and blood all over her body was crying while hugging her daughter, traumatized by her criminal husband, who is ordering me to get out like this is nothing. My blood started to boil, and anger began to brew inside my heart, thinking how this man could be so cruel? To do such things to his concubine. And even consider having sex with his own daughter. To my dismay, this 13th head was not ready to accept that he could not have his way with my sister and attacked me. Then, a fight broke out between him and me. In it, I could not help but pressed his neck with my both hand in my anger using all my strength. Up until now, I have seen enough atrocities done to my concubine-mothers who cared for me since the day I was born and all my brothers, sisters I have seen, and could not be seen due to this man. He forced everyone not doing his bidding or beneficial to him out of this house. I still did not say anything and accepted it all. But today, this man has crossed the last line I could not tolerate. To think he will not even spare his own daughter and think of raping her.

When the fight started, both my half-sister and concubine-mother wanted to stop me. But I convinced them that our life will be much better if this animal in human skin is killed. Then, my concubine-mother picked up a pillow from his bed and suffocated him with me. While my foolish half-sister could do nothing but only cry and look helplessly at us. Even in front of such a heinous crime, her pure and naive self could not understand what was happening, what her mother and big brother were doing?

But everything comes to an end. Therefore, after some troubling me and concubine-mother, the 13th head was dead. But not before putting his last-ditch effort to stop us from suffocating him. 

Then, we promised to each other that news of this event will never leave the room, and others will only know tomorrow morning that the 13th head had died of old age while sleeping happily in his bedroom with happy news of having a second child in his lifetime with noble blood. While publicly known the last person to visit his bedroom was concubine-mother and she will be the first witness to report this to others as her bedmate of night. Therefore, we arranged everything accordingly to match her description and I left with my half-sister. For the fear that she might feel under pressure and guilt of what happened and tell others the truth, so my naïve sister will be with me for the night and then will stay with her mother until the matter settles down. her only job was to say that 'after she told 13th head about her noble awakening, he was delighted, and she left the room.'

The next day, nobody tried to counter the sad news told by the concubine mother about the demise of the 13th head and readily accepted it happily. Everyone was scared of the 13th head. After all, nobody knows who might get disowned for any silly reason 13th head liked. Therefore, as the more mature/older noble blood awakened out of the two in family, me and my half-sister, Helen Sharma, I was temporarily declared new family head of the 13th branch of the Sharma house. But to make this appointment permanent I needed the officiation decree of the main house, which is done in Sharma city, but for the time being, I was allowed to make decisions for the work as head of the 13th branch family.

Therefore, the very first order I gave as the new family head was to call all the previously disowned concubines and their children from the family by the previous 13th head. So, after a few days of circulating this news, some, who were well off and could come, came happily, while some refused to join the family again. Some were living an impoverished life and were happy to get some timely help. But there were also some we could not locate, and their whereabouts or situation was unknown even to the main family spy network. Therefore, we could not found all of them, and so, I made this order permanent, with official annunciation that 'we are permanently ready to accept all past disowned family members in previous 13th head time, back in the family if they wish to join us. But sadly enough, so much time has passed in some cases, or maybe due to the shame they felt after being disowned, many have already left this city or any nearby city where we could found them. We could only pray for them.

Soon our 13th branch of Sharma house was full of people, children of my siblings, everywhere you could see happiness as a home. I also needed to start my own family. But before that, I have to make sure that my 13th branch family is not some random ranch for the main family to produce their select breed. Therefore, I decided to meet and to put my desire to the current head of the leading Sharma noble family, Earl Rakesh Sharma, in the Sharma city.

From our small town of 13th Sharma town to Sharma city was a long journey. So, I decided that all the main people, including Helen Sharma, will join me for this trip. Our group was made in a caravan of 14 carriages. It takes us 5 days to complete the journey as many ladies and children were also onboard the carriage.

When we reached Sharma city, we stayed for one day in the branch estate allowed for all branch families to use. Today was the day of my appointed visit to Earl Rakesh Sharma.

In Earl Rakesh Sharma's study room,

I have come with my sister to visit Earl Sharma, but due to me being the family head, only I was allowed in, and she has to wait outside for me. Which she happily accepted, saying she does not like political talks and would love to see this beautiful house. I asked her to make sure she is around here so that I could find her to leave with me. 

As soon as I entered the room, Earl Rakesh said, 'Welcome, Prakash, the new head of 13th branch, how did you like this Sharma city? Not anything like your 13th Sharma town, I assume. I have never been there. Tell me, how are things there?'

Contrary to my expectation of seeing an old geezer like my father here, but the person was of the same age as me. He was full of energy and looked like everything but some crafty old man of politics.

'Good! Very Good! This makes things easy. Is she here? Is she beautiful? Can you bring her here, now? I want to marry her. After marriage, if she serves me well, then I can even give you a big city to manage. Don't worry, Prakash. What is her beautiful name?'(Earl Rakesh)

I know not the largest city, but surely an isolated and a manageable place. So, I accepted it and said my farewell to both of them.

Saying so, my sister and I hugged each other as a farewell. After this heartwarming farewell, I stayed for one more day to collect useful things and Earl's official decree of my appointment as the new Lord of Gazina city and other family members also bid their farewell to Helen Sharma in this one day time. Then I left the city with all the family members for our family estate in 13th Sharma town to prepare for moving to Gazina city. Finally, our own city to rule...ahahaha
