Yun Bei Fen looked around curiously, but he didn’t manage to find any kind of clue so finally, he just looked up at Mei Chao Bing. "Did you figure anything out yet?"

Mei Chao Bing looked at him and couldn’t help but smile. This dream, it was just like reality. If they had been here physically, Yun Bei Fen would’ve asked him the exact same thing. He just had this habit of relying on him.

Looking at him, he wasn’t sure if he should be grateful that he had created such a big space in Yun Bei Fen’s heart or if he should be worried that this might be to Yun Bei Fen’s detriment in the future.

He had already thought so several times before but after realizing what kind of opponent they might be faced with, the worry got even stronger: What if he wasn’t there one day? What if Yun Bei Fen was on his own and needed to rely on his own strength to go figure out a situation, to escape, or even to survive? He really wasn’t sure if he would be able to do it.

Mei Chao Bing sighed. He might realize it but that didn’t help at all. He also knew that it couldn’t be changed right now. He could only resolve to try and teach him some more when he got back. Every single minute should probably be spent teaching Yun Bei Fen in the hopes that it would make a difference. He wasn’t sure how much that would actually benefit him but it was the only thing he could do right now.

When Yun Bei Fen didn’t get an answer he blinked his eyes at Mei Chao Bing, finally reaching out to tug at his sleeve. "What’s the matter?"

Mei Chao Bing reached up and ruffled his hair, giving a faint smile. "Until I come back, you should practice well. I will teach you some new things when I am at the border region again."

Yun Bei Fen had no idea where this was coming from but he still happily nodded, not wanting to disappoint Mei Chao Bing. "I’ll do that!" Either way, he had been training hard before as well. The progress might be small but he felt that there was at least some visible. Soon enough, he would be able to do everything Mei Chao Bing wanted him to learn.

Mei Chao Bing stopped walking after getting his promise and looked in all directions. This forest, it really was the one they had traveled through before. The problem was that he still had no idea where to find whoever had pulled them into this dream.

After all, the person should be here, right? Otherwise, why do this? Unless … something was going on in real life. But it wasn’t like he could do anything about that. In this kind of dream, how to wake up? He didn’t know. He also wasn’t sure if he should try it and risk missing any clues.

Either way, nothing could happen at the sect. At the very least, it seemed unlikely considering that it was defended much better than the camp in the border region. There were the Elders, the Sect Master, the black warrior, and also the formation spanning the whole sect grounds.

No, if anything, he should be worried about Yun Bei Fen’s side. But with his bunny’s level, whether there was a fight or not, it would hardly make a difference whether he was a part of it. Also, there were his first and third senior martial brother, senior martial brother Shen, as well as his Master close by, basically right next to him. They would protect him. Also, so far, the other side shouldn’t be aware that Shen Lei had been healed. So that would be a surprise for them in case they did try to do something to him.

Thinking about that, Mei Chao Bing couldn’t help but turn to look at Yun Bei Fen. "Fen’er, in the next few days, when you go out, be careful. In fact, if you can, don’t go out. Tell your Master I said this. He’ll understand."

Before, he himself hadn’t realized that but, actually, did his Master really need to pull them into a dream to do something? No, as long as he wanted to, this person could be grabbed outside in the border region and then physically detained. That would be a much easier way to get him to comply with whatever he wanted. In fact, he was a bit surprised that his Master hadn’t done that yet.

Yun Bei Fen was confused but he would always do what Mei Chao Bing said so he hastily nodded. "I will do that!"

Mei Chao Bing ruffled his hair again and then carefully hugged him to his chest, his eyes narrowing. His gaze once again traveled around and finally, he called out. "You’ve pulled us into this dream, surely, there is something you want. Why not come out and tell us directly? Having us walk around like this, it won’t lead anywhere."

His heart beat faster when he did this, not sure if it was the right decision. But right now, he didn’t know what else to do. They couldn’t find the person in a dreamscape that could be however big. Also, spiritual energy may not be working here but who knew if there wasn’t some other type of energy that was consumed? And if not that, then at least time would pass outside, and soon enough, they would wake up. Until then, he’d rather get some answers.

As if the other person had just waited for him to call out, the leaves to the side rustled, and then, somebody stepped out onto the path in front of them, wriggling their brows at him.

Mei Chao Bing’s gaze wandered up and down on the person and he felt some relief flood through him. Well, this clearly wasn’t his Master or one of the senior martial brothers. In fact, he didn’t think that it was anybody from the other side at all even though they might as well be trying to trick him.

No, looking at the person’s brightly colored robe, he couldn’t help but give it a guess. "Blue butterfly?"
