After choosing my Powers and Companion, I took a very long time to think about what my other choices will be.

The status in front of me didn't change at all and just remained hovered in the air.

I don't know how much time has passed. It is very hard to keep track of time in this dark void. It feels as if the concept of time itself doesn't exist here.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity. I made my choices as I took a deep breath and then selected both my Bloodline and Race at the same time.

[ Bloodline: Saiyan ]

[ Saiyans are an endangered race of sapient humanoids, widely known for being a naturally aggressive warrior race, who are one of the strongest species in the universe. ]

[ They are a near-extinct extraterrestrial species that made their home on Sadal, before emigrating to Vegeta. A majority of the race was exterminated by the tyrannical emperor, Frieza, however, a handful did manage to survive, rendering the race close to extinction. ]

[ Saiyans are outwardly very similar to humans, with the exception of their monkey-like tail and muscular builds. They are commonly seen to have spiky, black hair although there have been occasions when they have also been shown to have red and brown hair. However, this race was chosen as a Bloodline and not as a Race. So for the Gamer, you will not have a tail and will not be restricted by the hair color and muscular trait of the race. Naturally, your ability to transform at full moon will also be lost. ]

[ The Saiyan race is known as some of the most proficient fighters in the universe. Among other races, Saiyans have a natural fighting sense that makes them formidable opponents even with very little training. A Saiyan is perhaps the only race that has naturally evolved for fighting. Every aspect of their being has been enhanced and can be taken advantage of in combat. ]

[ Among all the species in the universe, Saiyans have some of the most remarkable physical abilities, which are only further augmented by their natural control of Ki and transformation into a Super Saiyan. Their physical strength exceeds that of most other races. ]

[ Part of what makes the Saiyan race such efficient fighters is their method of healing. While a Saiyan does not appear to heal any faster than a Human, they have a very unique buff that occurs when they've recovered from injuries that prove to be near fatal, where the Saiyan gains a large increase in power. ]

[ The Saiyan race is also the only known race to have the capacity to become a god of mortal origin. This effectively allows a Saiyan who can become a Super Saiyan God to reach the highest pinnacle of strength the universe allows. Godhood. ]

"Saiyan is a must. I wonder how that will even scale with my Saitama powers? Fufu~"

I said amused as I scanned everything about the Saiyan on the status. And then for the Race too.

[ Overlord is one of the high-tier heteromorphic races in YGGDRASIL. It is the final form of the Elder Lich and Skeleton Mage, a powerful undead magic caster that pursues ultimate magic. ]

[ Overlord is a strong magic caster with the appearance of a skeleton, devoid of both skin and flesh. It has a dark red light glowing inside the empty eye sockets of the skull and a dark halo-like object glimmering behind its head. ]

As soon as I confirmed the choice of my Bloodline, I felt a strange feeling coming from inside of me.

"Huh?"

It gradually started from my stomach and then slowly crawled throughout my whole body. Once the strange feeling covered my entire body and bones, I felt an indescribable rush of energy exploding in me. I suddenly felt as if I could do anything and nothing can stop me.

"Ouch!"

Not a second later. I hissed as a sudden pain assaulted my mind.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

I screamed in pain as I grabbed my head and dropped helplessly onto the dark floor of the void. It felt as if my mind was going to split in two. The pain was too much for me, I cried out in frustration as I kept struggling painfully on the floor.

"Ugh! Where is the damn Gamer's Mind?! Why I'm still feeling–Ahhhhhhhhh—!"

I don't know how much time has passed.

Because I was not sure if I would ever be able to wake up again if I lost consciousness in a place like this. All I was thinking about was grasping my head and trying my best to stay conscious.

"Haaah! Haaah!"

Finally, after an unknown amount of time. The pain was at last gone as I was sprawled on the ground and breathing heavily.

"W-What the hell was that…"

I said as I slowly used my hands to support myself and lifted my upper body.

"?"

When I did that, I felt an alien sensation moving throughout my body.

"Oh?"

When I brought my arm up, that same sensation came again. Whenever I moved any part of my body, some strange energy flows from my stomach and then somehow strengthened whatever muscles I wanted to use.

"Don't tell me… this is Ki?"

I said dumbfounded as I looked at my exposed flat stomach, I could barely feel something deep inside there. Without wasting any time, I immediately sat cross-legged and then closed my eyes as I tried very hard to think about whatever it is that was inside my body.

"..."

I could see it. Something bright, and powerful. Like a tornado of light.

"Haha. This is so dope! I really became a damn Saiyan!"

I was extremely excited as I smiled wildly and then looked expectedly at the status in front of me.

*Flinch* "..."

Remembering the horrible pain I felt before, I shuddered as cold sweat formed on my forehead.

If just choosing the Bloodline was that painful. Then how much it would be for my actual Race?

Moreover, becoming a damn skeleton? Wouldn't that mean literally melting myself alive?

"...Y-You know what? Now that I think about it. I-I don't want to be an Overlord."

I chuckled as I imagined myself doing the Sasuga Ainz Sama stuff and all that good shit.

As I thought for a bit, an idea suddenly came to my mind.

'Couldn't I use some kind of item or drug to nullify the pain? Like a painkiller or something?'

As I heard the positive response, my mood immediately skyrocketed as I clicked on the Starter items option.

If I remember correctly, the Infinity Gauntlet was a powerful glove that was designed to channel the power of all six Infinity Stones… WAIT! THAT'S IT!

"System! Does the Infinity Gauntlet include the Infinity Stones too?!"

I clicked my tongue as I almost got myself scammed. If not for the Gamer's Mind skill, I would have never noticed anything and would fell into it like an idiot.

I said satisfied as I read the ridiculous description in the status. With this in my pocket, I already won most if not all my future battles before even reincarnating!

Saiyans tend to share common personality traits, even at young ages. Being aggressively militant, they share an innate enjoyment for conflict and fighting, choosing violence over peace with other races. Even Goku retained his love to fight after his amnesia but satisfied that love through competitive sport, rather than barbaric slaughter. Saiyans are typically very aggressive and hard-headed, with short explosive tempers. Saiyans appear inclined to be arrogant at times, leading them to allow enemies to gain advantages in battle just for fun. It appears they have a tendency to let their emotions get the better of them when roused in stimulating situations (as demonstrated by Vegeta, Goku, Nappa, and Bardock), resulting in them at times making rash decisions. Normally, Saiyans do not have much of a notion of romance or marriage, and apart from the royal family of Vegeta, they are not particular about blood relationships.

Author: Sigh. It seems the SMC forgot about this 'small' fact about the Saiyan race... and she just had to rub it on the poor system who had its hands full dealing with Killua's unconscious mind constantly hacking its ass.
