I originally wrote this story quite a while ago with the intention of writing it from a very lazy protagonist's view: chapters would be short, lacking in complex detail, and all around 'low effort' as that fits Cooper's personality to the T.
This also helps me stay on the front page longer but that's not important.
However, I've been seeing some comments complaining about the length of the chapters. And I get it; it is rather aggravating to settle down to read only to be done in probably not even a minute.
So I'm here to pose a vote to all of you: would like me to keep the 3 short chapters a day or consolidate them into 1 chapter?
Do keep in mind that this doesn't mean I'm going to suddenly start pumping out girthy, 5k long chapters. It'll simply be the 3 shorter ones bunched into one. Length probably won't go too far above 1k words.
Sooo what are your thoughts?

I mean a 1k chapter everyday might actually be better than 3 short chapters everyday, because if you think about it, 3*7 is 21 and that statistic of 21chaps/week will kind of make it seem like the author is spitting out crap chapters, and not quality chapters. 7 chaps/week is still quite a bit, but readers will think that the quality is decent/good. I mean, the popular stories out there have only like 1-4 chapters/week, but those chapters are (usually) high quality. And, yes, I know this comment is actually legible and does not fit the theme of this story.
reading, listening to and understanding legible and simple explanations is much better and easier than coming to the answer by yourself, and seeing as your not the protagonist, you may be the smart and giving out simple explanations as a smart side-kick making the MC's (our) life easier.
I kinda feel guilty about this bc because the one to say that the chapters should be longer was *cough* me *cough* in chap 9
@the_onez3 I prefer longer ones too.
Plus splitting 1k of words into three smaller chapters is probably more effort than just making one chapter, which is probably misdirected laziness and not big-brained in my opinion.

I like bite-sized chapters. The story isn't serious, so giving it a chapter length that's kind of episodic and the length you can quickly read through like it's a tic-tok is far more fitting than chapters that require to actually take the time out of the day (if only like 4 mins or so) to read. But you do you
